This was my first time at Burger Boy, and honestly, I’m mad it took me this long to stop in.
I went in not really knowing what to expect. From the outside it feels old-school, almost like one of those places you assume is either incredible or just surviving on nostalgia. Turns out, it earns its reputation.
The menu is simple, which I immediately liked. No gimmicks, no trendy nonsense. Just burgers, fries, shakes, and breakfast. I ordered a classic burger with fries because if it can’t nail the basics, nothing else matters.
The burger came out hot, fresh, and actually looked like the picture in my head. The patty was juicy, seasoned right, and cooked the way a real burger should be. The bun didn’t fall apart halfway through, which already puts it ahead of a lot of places. Toppings were fresh, and everything tasted like it was made when I ordered it, not sitting under a heat lamp.
The fries were solid too. Not fancy, just crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfect with ketchup. Sometimes that’s all you need.
What really stood out was the vibe. It feels like a place locals actually go to. Families, people on lunch break, late-night crowd. The staff was friendly, fast, and didn’t act annoyed even though it was busy. You can tell they’ve done this a long time.
Prices felt fair, especially for the portion size. I left full and didn’t feel like I overpaid, which is rare these days.
Overall, Burger Boy feels like one of those dependable spots you keep in your rotation. No hype, no overthinking, just good food done right. Definitely won’t be my last visit.
