Burger House Republic

A fun and creative burger joint! During our visit to Dubrovnik, we were craving burgers. After reading the good reviews, we decided to eat here. We were sat immediately and given the very creative menu. All the beef burgers had fun toppings and they even had seafood burgers (octopus, calamari, shrimp etc.)! We ordered the Game of Thrones burger, calamari burger and octopus burger. All were delicious and the included side of fries were fresh and delicious. Our server was very fun and attentive and we had lots of fun listening to the music in this restaurant. A fun place to eat if you’re craving some unique burgers!

House of Burger Republic offers a decent dining experience, though there are some drawbacks. The seating is quite limited indoors, with more available in the back lane of the restaurant outdoors. It was fairly busy during our visit, but the food came out surprisingly fast. Service was just okay—not particularly memorable. We tried the squid burger and the crispy chicken burger. While both were tasty, they were quite greasy, which took away from the overall experience. The burgers were good, but the prices definitely don’t match the quality. It felt way too expensive, likely due to the prime location in the heart of a tourist area. Overall, if you’re craving a burger, it’s not a bad option, but the high prices and greasiness make it hard to justify.

A+++ for the food. I had the spicy calamari burger and my partner had the house burger. Both fresh and DELISH! The spicy calamari burger was the winner. Do that for SURE if you come.

Dropped by coz we saw the amazing reviews. The calamari burger was really superb, not spicy at all. Service was fast and friendly; music put me in such a good mood. Best spot for me on my Croatia trip 🩷🩷🩷

Great burger house with nice creative burgers and also really tasty ones! We ate here after trying out burger tiger. But this was such a relieve. The burgers were fantastic and the staff was also really friendly! We sat by the window so we also had something to few with all the people walking around! Please be aware that the burgers are large! I had it as lunch and it was a bit too much for lunch, but that is a good thing :) The veggie burger was also really good! We also like the atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant!

In our 2 visits, we tried the spicy calamari burger, burger of the house republic and tuna salad. I think the best dish, understandably, is the calamari burger - the taste overall is delicious. The burger itself isn't that big, but there are calamari on the side, too. The only downside is that there is no sauce for them (you can order different sauces for additional pay), and that the chips are quite greasy. I can 100% recommend the tuna salad, though - a big portion as well, delicious tuna, and not too greasy. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and would definitely recommend the whole place ;)

The chickpea burger is made by them in-house and it shows- super crunchy, super juicy, the first time in a long while I’ve not been disappointed in a vegan burger. Great portion sizes too- and the garlic Mayo *chefs kiss* Great service and atmosphere - thank you! Veggies and vegans, only 2 options for burgers but ya won’t be disappointed - I wasn’t = )

Highly recommend! We were looking for something different we haven't tried when we stumbled across the burger house. We spotted their calamari burger, something we haven't seen before, and it did not disappoint. Generous portions, amazing taste and friendly staff, definitely worth checking out
