Burger House Republic

I had to try this place when they said octopus burger, but OH THERE IS SO MUCH MORE!!! He recommended this huge platter with a little of everything and it was so good!!! My adult kids and I thought this was one of the best meals we had in the city (there is a place right across from him that was just ok) and more pricey. It was a lot to eat so highly recommend you may want 4 people to split everything, we had 3 and couldn't finish it all. He is friendly and they are fast and really care about the food they serve and that you're happy with the food. This is a must try for some good food.

Likely the restaurant with the coolest staff in Dubrovnik! I can highly recommend for the burgers, but even more so for the service and atmosphere. The staff were super entertaining and friendly, they managed to get everyone in the restaurant having fun and joking around. We trusted the waiter with his recommendations and were pleasantly surprised. Some bold flavours that added something different to the usual burger experience. Can’t recommend enough, especially if you like enthusiastic staff.

Amidst overpriced high-end dining and tourist trap fare, Burger House Republic was a welcome stop for us. Every meal was up to par and the owner was incredibly friendly and generous. My personal favorites were the octopus burger and seared tuna salad, but everything was fantastic. Make sure to grab a bite here!

I’m not kidding when I say the burger of thrones is TO DIE FOR!!! Every bite is amazing! I’m a foodie, so I’m just so happy we got absolute value for money here. Even their fried calamari was delicious. We’re going to have a hard time choosing another restaurant when we know this food is so good. And the staff make you laugh. Definitely worth it!

A MUST visit gem in Old Town!! This is not your ordinary burger. This restaurant specializes in seafood burgers. We actually had an amazingly fresh seafood platter with a Caesar salad and Mediterranean salad (best I ever had)! Matthew is a ray of sunshine! His service is impeccable! Run, not walk to taste the absolutely delicious food at the Republic Burger House. I am from New York and have high food standards. This place hits all of the marks. So happy we stumbled upon it!!

Another gem in Dubrovnik. I asked the waiter what his favorite seafood burger on the menu was and he said the spicy calamari and it did not disappoint. My husband had the truffle burger which he also loved. Would recommend to anyone visiting old town. The service was great. We walked up to the restaurant which was mostly inside and we wanted outside and the owner took us around the corner where they had another line of tables all set up where his son was the waiter. Amazing family owned dining experience.

Best burger bar in Dubrovnik old town!! First of all they greeted us with a good mood and all of their staff was friendly and attentive. Our waiter Philip was very friendly. Whatever they suggested and we tried, it was absolutely delicious! The spicy calamari is a must-try, crispy with a hint of mild spices. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to!

A local resident , named “Z” recommended this unique Burger restaurant off of the Stradun . Apparently , he eats there several times a week! They carry a variety of 100% beefy burgers but also some with a “twist”…. the “calamari burger “ is what got my husband’s discretionary attention. Tender pieces of sliced calamari , batter fried and placed on a “black- squid ink” bun! Salad and fries were fresh and delicious as well. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. We ate outside at one of the side street tables but there are inside high tops as well. Not necessarily a romantic location , but there was still romance in the air!
