Awesome place! Not your typical burger but in a good way! Food felt like it was made for people to eat, not just for speed and budget. Great service, amazingly friendly staff, and fantastic food. I'm a first timer here and I just plain loved it!

Burgers taste really great. Plenty of space for seating. Wuick service and polite. It has option of kiosk ordering. Choice of food is upto you. Parking sideway or designated parking spots. Wheelchair friendly

Really friendly customer service! Saw a sign for some mid week specials and grabbed a $7 turkey burger. What a steal in 2025! Really good size and packed with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. It came with a thousand island type sauce on a whole wheat bun. The turkey patty had some herbs in the mix and a nice crusty sear. Can’t wait to come again to try something else!

Order off the kiosk, if you wanted a “the special beer” price you had to order with a live person, kiosk does not offer it! Burger was good, has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. When you order, grab a number and your food will be brought to your table.

I had such a bad experience a few minutes ago at this restaurant. I came in to pick up my phone order and asked for the code to use the bathroom. Keep in mind I'm nine months pregnant and about to deliver any day. I'm completely exhausted and the guy at the register asked me if I was picking up an order so he could verify that I could use the bathroom since it's only for customers and I said yes. I told him I really needed to use the bathroom. He asked me my name and then had to go and verify that I was a customer And he was so incredibly rude to me. He kept acting like I was lying and he didn't believe that I was a customer. If you have a woman who's nine months pregnant come into your restaurant and say that she really has to use the restroom. Why would you make it so difficult for her to be able to do so? Can't he just take my word for it? He ended up telling me that I was being rude when I was just tired and needed to use the restroom. My friend who was with me was standing up for me, cause I was too tired to do it for myself. And then the manager told her to get out of his restaurant when all she was doing, was looking out for her friend. The whole thing was so crazy. I'm probably the top customer for Burger Lounge. I literally eat Burger Lounge probably twice a week. I can honestly say I've never been treated so badly at a restaurant. And it's such a slap in the face because I'm one of their top customers for sure. Everyone who knows me knows that I love Burger Lounge. I left two stars instead of one because one of the employees I think his name is Alexis was actually really sweet and offered us water.

We were looking for something quick to grab and take home to eat while watching football, and Burger Lounge was the perfect choice! The place was clean, and ordering on the touch screen was quick and easy. It took about 10 minutes to get our food, but you could tell it was freshly made, which was worth the short wait. The food was great—definitely an “upscale fast food” experience. Perfect for a casual but satisfying meal!

As I have mentioned before not all Burger Lounges are created equal! This one in Little Italy is superb! My Burger on a GF bun was perfection in temperature and presentation and flavor! The way the GF bun was toasted really made the difference in the flavor of the bun. The fries and onion ring combo was super fresh even though there were no people in line. Which really impressed me that they cook fresh to order at this location . I tried their Hibiscus iced black tea and was pleasantly surprised at the great flavor! A nice option for a caffeinated drink that is not soda! The icing on the cake for me in this dine in experience was the super clean restaurant, with staff cleaning everything promptly and even religiously sweeping the floor a couple of times while I was there! This location has high ceilings, lots of natural light and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! I highly recommend it for very good grass fed beef burgers!

Standard casual burger restaurant with takeaway and dine in options in Little Italy. Wide variety of burgers (beef, chicken, fish and Impossible vegan pasties) as well as options to customise each burger and add your standard sides, including fries/chips, onion rings and even vegan nuggets. Salad bowls and a paleo burger is also on the menu with milkshakes, ice cream floats and standard fizzy drink potions. Great spot for a burger is you don't mind the price (can easily get up to $20+ with burger, side and drink).

I hope I don't get anyone in trouble for saying this. But I saw one of the employees give a free French fries to the children of a military vet and thanked him for his service! And I love how burger lounge also has "legit" (not sarcasm it's the name of their salad) healthy options! And the food is mouth watering! I'll be back!

Service was standard and they gave a lot of food options, good for people with diet restrictions. I got the paleo burger (the patty wasn't too flavorful, but it was a ton of meat with avocado, large crispy flavorful bacon, zucchini and other stuff) and my husband got the lounge burger and we split a large fry. We were STUFFED after, it was so filling. It's grass-fed beef so we feel good after. Good for a quick bite, wouldn't recommend if you're looking for more of a sit down place.

Vegetarian burger was good and loved the gardein chicken nuggies too! Perfect amount of crisp and felt the fries and onion rings were not too greasy. would love to order from here again from DoorDash!

We chose to sit outside which was covered, which is nice as it allowed us to enjoy the weather. The bathroom was code-locked and was also clean and accessible. We ordered the lounge burger and the impossible lounge burger as well as a half & half sides order, which comes with fries and onion rings. The burgers were really tasty and fresh while the fries were pretty ok. The onion rings however were SUPERB. If anything we definitely want to come back for a side of onion rings they were delicious and perfectly crispy. The BL (burger lounge) sauce was really good and paired nicely with the burgers as well as the sides. Would recommend. Would probably go again.

I had a terrible experience at the La Jolla location and management reached out to me to give it another try. I decided to finally try it but this time at the Little Italy location and I have to say Burger Lounge totally redeemed themselves at this location. This location was clean, spacious and most importantly their service was excellent. After a customer left, the staff came to out to wipe the tables and asked us how we were doing. The burgers look a lot smaller than what I recall but they are actually pretty filling once you factor in all the ingredients. I loved how I can get a combo of fries and onion ring. All were made fresh to order piping hot. I also ordered the fried chicken sandwich and it was way bigger than the buns! It was crispy on the outside yet moist and juicy on the inside. They also serve beer in addition to soda. This is a great location if you'd like to try Burger Lounge.

For the many that have come to the many Hamburger places and those places that serve the ones which have been sitting on the grill when it comes to having a great burger you want to have one which is the best and have the flavor that rolls across the whole bun and the sauces that combine with the burger. Many places that I have come across can't make the right bun that will be able to handle a burgle and the weight of the burger causes many hamburger buns to break apart. There are many restaurants that have had remodeled, and the change of the stores and the restaurants can be one after many years when you had come before to the restaurant the colors gave the place a good 70s feel. After the change the one thing that I had noticed was the use of brown and the modern style lamps with the more modern and yet the more restaurant feels close to being a Dennys. When I had arrived was the sign outside the welcome to the many and the introduction of the new Burger Lounge Burgers which are the best. The good welcome at the door of the sign and the one thing that was the cashier it was not the usual cashier it was someone that worked in the back. Looking at the many changes and the feel of the restaurant in the Little Italy area still the best spot with the same menu and the of the many classes of the burgers they serve and the sizes of the fries and the deserts they serve. The cashier I saw that I saw was new and to be watched by the manager when he took my order finding a burger combo that was called the Big Blue Cheese bacon Burger with French fries and onion rings. The cashier gave me my drink cup and the number standee for on the table when my order came to the table it was at the service time of 7.00 minutes seeing the burger to check to make sure it was hot the juice and the blue cheese were dripping down the sides. I could see that the buns have changed with a light flower bun and the holdup of the burger did verry well and the bun never fell apart. There was one thing that caught my eye was the French Fries to have the order the taste was off, and the Onion rings requested large order there was less than a few. The tastes have changed, and the flavors of the burgers are still the best with the best sodas you can have with your order you can have Shirley Temple Soda with your meal. Upon looking over the restaurant the change to the restaurant is making it more modern and the days of the lounge are getting better. The signs that tell you what the food is and the great tastes of the burgers and the frosty shakes all can be seen on the wall of the dining area out front. Great for groups and the ever-popular date night you can come and have dinner and the many hot chicken sandwiches they look good on the menu board you just want to reach up and grab them. With plenty of seats and the patio area with the tables you can have for a large group. As a Yelp Elite Reviewer, I wanted to come back to that restaurant after my second time the great food I'll be returning.

This food is just delicious! We both had burgers and got them perfectly cooked well done. The side of half fries/half onion rings was more than enough for 2, and both were cooked just right to be crispy. And try the BBQ dipping sauce - it's amazing. The staff is super friendly and orders come out quickly and piping hot.

This spacious eatery has the atmosphere of modern with a dash of old fashion. The wife and I grabbed two sandwiches and man did BL not let us down. We grubbed on a turkey burger which I a going to use the recipe and a crispy chicken sandwich. The French fries were great but if you are looking for perfection definitely try the onion rings, they are to die for! Also, do not miss count on their great selection of fountain drinks and adult drinks. With so many options you will be back, I know we will, tomorrow. To the staff, you all have out did yourself, keep up the awesome work.

I am so glad I found Burger Lounge! It was a quick walk from where I was. Coming in the team is super friendly! The steady flow of people coming in and out with food was a good sign. My meal was done in just a couple of minutes. The burger was phenomenal! Toppings were fresh, and the beef was top notch! The French fries were cooked to perfection. No additional seasoning required. Great meal, great service! I can't wait to get back!

Even though I didn't get everything that I ordered, i enjoyed the burger and fries. The chicken strips not as much.

I usually don't go to BL since their prices are high, however they have select items for $5 which is why I came in today. I actually ordered to go, but when I came and picked up the food, which was actually ready about four minutes before my expected time, I ended up staying because the place was clean. I ordered the classic, well done, and fries, extra crispy. I appreciate the fact that they actually read my customization and the food was definitely delicious. The fries actually taste like potatoes. They were not oily. The burger meat was also flavorful. The staff was also friendly.

This place has a fast food atmosphere but the Alaskan cod sandwich I had was fantastic and it was a generous serving. The fries were great too. Gluten free buns are available if you need that as an option.

The Burger Lounge This location has great service always clean Even though I don't eat meat anymore the salads are good and the vegetable burger is good . That all Shaun Rossettos has to say .

Five Star Action !! First visit to the Burger Lounge and I got a Cashier in training .. but her Trainer was the best evahhh. They joined the manager in helping me place my order .. half fry half onion rings (old skool delicious), bacon cheese burger, and the star of the show .. Management insisted on the Cookies and Cream Milkshake It was a wonderful day ..

I used to enjoy the food in the past but the quality of the food has significantly decreased. The burger fell apart upon first bite. Ordered pick up, waited and the food was cold when I received it. Unfortunately the fries were soggy too.

Setting/Service Casual setting with plenty of seating. Staff is friendly and food comes out appropriately fast. Easy place to come in and out for lunch. Food: Burger lounge is underrated in my opinion. The ingredients used are fresh and are prepared well. The food isn't flashy, but it's executed well. The food here is honestly pretty hard to beat Overall: Solid, consistent spot for good burgers. Worth a try if you've never been, or a re-try if it's been a while.

The workers were nice but the food was not good. I got a burger on my lunch break and ordered for takeout. I took it back to my office and when I bit into I saw it was raw inside. I had already left so I tried to eat as much cooked parts as I could. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if it were cheaper, but the burger and fries were $19. And the ranch doesn't taste like ranch. It tasted more like blue cheese, I don't know if they gave me a blue cheese sauce, but it looks like ranch. The fries got cold fast. Maybe I took too long to pick them up, but they felt hard, and not soggy hard. Just a bad experience, unfortunately.

This was our first experience at Burger Lounge. The guy working that counter really started our experience off great; he just radiated positivity, and was eager to answer any questions we had and would check on us throughout the meal to make sure things were good. It felt more like a casual sit down restaurant rather than a burger joint. We bother orders premium burgers (Hatch Chili Burger and the Truffle Swiss Burger) and shared a half and half (fries and onion rings). I had little hope the onion rings would be good because they were breaded rather than battered, it was pleasantly surprised at how crisp and sturdy they were. The fries were pretty standard. The burgers were indescribably good; juicy, well seasoned, and filled with well rounded flavors that complimented each flavor note and worked in harmony. The vibe was modern, clean, and environment forward. The one downside was the price, it's a little pricy, but cheaper (and better) than places like Smash Burger.

Ordered Classis Double, without mustard.....best burger I have had in months, anywhere!! Grass Fed beef and the lettuce, pickles and KETCHUP, along with great bun...the burger had enough crunch on top of flavorful seasoning on top of the lettuce, onion & pickles...GREAT surprise...much better than Shake Shack, In & Out Burgers and other burger places...McDonalds, Burger King all are not even comparable in any way to the Burger Lounge Classic.... GREAT french fries...a Belgium style along with terrific Onion Rings...thank you for inspired food!

I had a meeting at that Clounty building and this was close and within walking distance. Friend staff that love through her line quickly. The place was clean. They got my order correct - I like my burger well done and the meat patty is thin. I love that they have grassfed burgers and dairy-free ice cream & milkshakes. Will be back! PS - be sure to check-in before you order! You may have a discount waiting for you.

I don't know ow why we continue to order from any of the locations. We purposely purchase extra sauce because they consistently leave the sauce off of the burgers. Three burgers plus sides no drinks came to $85 with uber eats driver tip. They've offered to mail me a $15 gift card. This review is to make sure they do. Tonight, I get a cold, dry grain burger. Fantastic.

My go-to spot during the work week for a sensible and affordable (for Little Italy) meal when I forget to bring something from home. I can't say enough about how tasty the Turkey burger is here. There's plenty of seating inside, as well as outdoor patio seating as well. I'm always greeted warmly by staff and so far have never regretted a meal here. If in a rush, they also have online ordering for both pickup and delivery. Convenience all around!

I've been coming here for years and it's my favorite burger place in San Diego. Grass fed beef, and healthier and tastier than places like In-N-Out Burger. Excellent fries and onion rings as well! I don't eat burgers often, but when I do, I usually come to Burger lounge.

Food was good, service was a little slow. They must have been unexpectedly busy or someone called out. For the amount of people in the restaurant waiting they didn't seem that busy.

Little Italy is the place to go when getting new places. They gave me the wrong burger, and when they brought out the correct one it was lukewarm. Which sucked because I was really looking forward to my burger. My husbands burger was good. I would possibly try them again.

Do not overlook burger lounge! This place might seem generic at first glance but they got some seriously good burgers. Perfect lunch pitstop.

Good burgers, and sides! I also tried the chicken tenders and a milkshake and they were good too. I was most impressed with the service. Very friendly and fast. We enjoyed our late Sunday dinner sitting on the patio with a patio heater that an employee turned on and it really just made it perfect. It might not sound like a big deal but it was a very pleasant evening! Thanks Burger Lounge!

Don't go to burger lounge to get a root beer float. They don't have a clue. The ice cream was served in a separate cup from the root beer - I guess they expect you to assemble the float. To make matters worse they couldn't find a proper spoon. The best they could do was a tiny plastic spoon shown in the picture. How is this place still in business? Locals and tourists should run in the other direction.

Came in for a burger and fries. The food was hot, juicy, and delicious. My previous review "restaurant " should take some food prep training from this crew. The French fries and onion rings :) Yumm! We got the Husky Burger, lots of meat with lettuce & tomato. Service was on point too. Our table was cleared as we sat enjoying the music and overall vibe of the place. Thank you Burger Lounge for being walking distance from our humble abode. Keep on doing your thang, you do it well.

Strolling around Little Italy in San Diego and we decided to stop at this place because we have been to every burger lounge in SD and It was too early for a pasta meal. We got a Turkey Burger and a Ancient Grain burger both being just okay. This is not our favorite burger lounge in the city because the burgers are never really well made. But we still enjoyed it.

So, after seemingly recovering from a period of poor service/food ... the recent year or so this location has been good and we eat here regularly. However I just returned from a two month trip and stopped in to BL - ordered 2 Ahi burgers and one drink - with tip the bill was just under $50 !!!! Shocking and WAY over priced - no sides, no condiments, no anything but two little ahi burgers and a soda. Additionally the service was less than what it's been for a while .... SO - I'm crossing this establishment off my list because there are plenty of other Little Italy eateries where one can be SERVED a REAL meal with all the extras for less ... including some ambiance. I feel robbed and taken advantage of which has not been a thing with other eateries. So long, Little Italy Burger Lounge !!

Love this chain, never tried the San Diego location but was nice. They have the great same food and service as other places. Clean restaurant, the server/cashier was a bit distracted but another employee helped me out with my drink and code to restroom. Loved that this location had like a bar atmosphere/seating area. Was glad the food was consistent to other locations.

Delicious burger; fresh cut fries amazing dipping sauces. Fabulous soda choices- I picked the Shirley temple! Reasonable price and super friendly staff.

This was my takeout order of Paleo pan fried Cod fish. The avocado is bad, the bacon is not cooked enough and the fish is so over cooked that it's as dry as a shoe. The whole thing is absolutely tasteless. This is unacceptable.

Surprisingly good burger, very tasteful. I particularly liked how soft and complimentary the bun felt to the burger. Normally with these chain burger places the bar is not very high and I usually expect mediocrity, but this place proved me wrong and the burger was better than most. The manager Alexis was so nice and accommodating. Only taking off a star because the fries were fairly mediocre.

Came in here to use the restroom. I'm VERY pregnant, and one of the employees told me I couldn't use the restroom unless I dined in with them. Thanks for caring about my baby HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Holy cow, was NOT expecting this out of a chain - Paleo Burger The Paleo Burger was fan-friggin-tastic. I will admit that I was hesitant, I mean zucchini?!! I added cheddar cheese and the flavor combination was absolutely perfect. The only thing I added was a bit of salt. I enjoyed it so much I almost wanted to go back for dinner The hubs ordered another burger of some sort (I paid zero attention, sorry). We split a large order of fries, which were also tasty. The folks that work there were friendly. The place was clean. I highly recommend you step outside of your comfort zone and try the Paleo (add the bun if that's your thing). Enjoy! It was ok. The fries were really good. Had a door dash delivery. The chicken patty was dry AF and old they also strangely cut my patty in half. Maybe the cook didn't know how to cook and cut to see if it was finished. A definite ho hum experience, but I was starving and happy to have someone bring me some food while moving out.

I thought it was a good quality for what I paid for, but I felt patty was too thin and Ionged for about a medium cooked while I was eating. Not a bad placed at all. Good staff, fun fountain drinks, tasty dips. Only problem was the fact that I had better experience with the patty in the different place in San Diego, so I feel 4 star is just. It's not fair probably, because I usually pay about $15 for 5 star burger experience, and this place only charged like $9.95.

Let's start with the service. Very friendly and joyful workers. The burger I ordered the house "Lounge Burger" and an order of fries. And a drink. Order came out to $15.34. I would say average price for a "burger, fries, and drink combo". The drink I will not rate, a fountain drink The burger itself, I ordered a medium rare temperature on my burger...... came out to perfection. The fries......well the fries came in under cooked and all stuck together when I tried to eat them. Should pay a little more attention to the quality before sending out of the kitchen. But overall a decent meal.

What's not to love about Burger Lounge? A San Diego creation that even with how large it's grown, never loses it's eye for quality control. I used to work by this location so I have been there plenty of times, and never has it disappointed. My go to is the Lounge Burger, but my last trip took me down the Keto path so I ordered a Paleo Burger. The presentation was perfect, and the taste was just as good. Shout out to Tayhlor behind the counter who was extremely nice and made sure I got everything I needed. One thing to note for folks who don't have their own parking spot in Little Italy, parking is always a challenge so be prepared for that!

Burger lounge is located in Little Italy right off India Street and Cedar. I have never been here or tried out this establishment so I figured why not and see what the hype of grass fed cows is all about. The restaurant was very clean and well decorated inside and definitely had a lounge expierence that came with it. It had barstools, booths and even a outside patio for dining. I went ahead and ordered the lounge burger that is 100% grass fed American beef with cheddar cheese that is topped with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions and Burger Lounge house made 1000 island, and pickles. The Burger is cooked medium unless you prefer a different way. All sides are extra and there is no combo meals such as fries or onion rings with a Burger which I feel isnt right but just additional charges to your meal. The Burger is already quite pricey itself but I suppose this is what you pay for when ordering a 100% all grass fed Burger. The Burger came out beautifully wrapped in a cardboard box and was looking quite hefty when I opened it. Quick time first bite and well honestly nothing to extravagant for a Burger just A-OK! The meat was very lean and it actually quite tasted different than all the fatty burgers I eat and I felt it was a healthy meal. I really enjoyed the shredded lettuce and the added caramelized onions I chose. I wasn't to fond of the bread which seemed like wheat bread and once again It just felt way to healthy. The meat was very naturally lightly seasoned and I felt I was pouring way to much ketchup on it just to enjoy it. They also have more condiment sauces as advertised such as BBQ, sweet gochujang, and ranch but also at a extra fee. Burger lounge home to the Original grass fed Burger to me is A-Ok if your someone looking for a healthier lifestyle and prefer organic grass fed meats vice the fatties cheaper meats. I wasn't a fan of all the extra add on prices for things such as sauces and fries and no combos with drinks but that's just personally me. Happy Yelping!

The food was good but extremely over priced!! $25 for a double cheeseburger, and onion rings! F**king ridiculous!! Also the service was so slow. We waited almost 25 min for our food, and then when we asked them about the wait they gave us attitude, like we were inconvenience them. Rude!! Will never come back. They only got 2 stars cuz the food wasn't terrible.

Tell McDonald's to take lessons When something tastes this good, we all know it can not be good for you. This is where you come to eat and be satisfied. Type of place you want to enjoy after an expensive French restaurant to fill full.

Staff was extremely friendly! My first experience here was deff a positive one. I would recommend!
