Saw this place on Instagram, had to check it out. It seems they actually just take photos of burgers as they're made, so you can see what you're getting, instead of fake marketing photos. The burgers are just as good as they look, too. Got a cheesy double, and it was very juicy and flavorful. Their poutine is... A little weird. Plenty of sauce, good amount of cheese (and it's layered!), but the gravy is kind of overpowering. Has a spice to it that isn't bad (kind of reminds me of curry or something), but blocks all other flavours. The cheese curds are more crumbly than squeaky, and I couldn't really taste them very well. I will say the poutine is very filling for the price. Will definitely come back for burgers, but not for poutine.

I really thought this place would live up to its reviews but it reminded me once again that Instagram isn’t real. I don’t know if the reviews are legit because they appear like they’re all acquaintances of the owner. I had their basic bud combo, which was a disaster and looked nothing like their Instagram pictures. The buns weren’t even potato buns but instead sad grocery store sesame buns. The patty was greasy and unsalted. The fries weren’t good either (but they still gave you a hefty amount). The guy who took my order was decent but he was the same person cooking it. The store is extremely sad and boring and I was the only person there alongside a bored employee. I should’ve just had their $10 cheese burger combo special but I paid $16+ for a meal that left me with a stomachache, never again. Knockout chicken seems to be its sister restaurant which is a good thing to know so that you avoid both places.

Saw this place was opening up today on Instagram and decided to try it out since I was gonna be going sledding at Christie pits. I got the Spicy BT & a chocolate milkshake and both set the bar high for this place. Loved the amount of toppings & sauces on it, bun was really tasty & the meat was cooked so perfectly. The milkshake was also delicious plus it’s one of the cheaper ones in the city. Only thing I would suggest is maybe changing the menu & logo appearances as they don’t grab my attention really at all, I don’t think I would’ve stepped inside had it not been advertised on social media. Now that I have given it a chance though I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to others.

Google
While the staff are courteous and friendly, the overall quality of their burgers is good but not spectacular. I’m not sure what all the hype is about. I’ve had better burgers elsewhere in the city. Most likely won’t be coming back again. I prefer Holy Chuck and Burger’s Priest among other better options.

Google
The burgers were average - not bad, but not great. While the buns were grilled nicely, the patties were dry and under seasoned, which is a shame considering they’re made with fresh meat. I wouldn’t have known from the quality of the burger if I didn’t read a sign telling me such. The fries could’ve benefitted from more salt and had a chewy consistency to them that gave the impression they were stale rather than fresh. I did like how they were a thicker cut, though. That said, the prices are competitive and the everyday special is a good value.

Google
One of the better burgers I’ve had in the city. I got the Cheesy Double. Juicy, great texture and flavor. The fries are decent, but I’d skip them since the burger is so big anyway.

Went two days in a row, I got two different bacon burgers and my friend got the veggie burger, we both really enjoyed it. Very affordable pricing and quality of burgers is wonderful. Even the fries are great, they remind me of chip truck style. 5/5

Yelp
Ok this place was A-MAZING! The bun is so perfect and soft the birder perfectly cooked and the toppings generous and the fries! Not too greasy and perfectly crisp! A must try new burger joint!

Yelp
The old poutine place was replaced w burger tribe. Good smash style cheeseburger. Made fresh, no hairnet on kitchen staff only deduction.

Yelp
Sadly, Burger Tribe on Bloor Street has been replaced by Top Burger. While a more extensive menu, there are no vegan options (Burger Tribe had them) and MUCH more expensive. Will not be back.

Yelp
Two of us got the bacon burger with fries. It's a solid smash burger with American cheese, a fresh bun, tomato and lettuce. Patty is beefy with a good crust and texture. The "aioli" is thousand island dressing and fries seem to be frozen but these are minor quibbles when the burger is this good.
