Burger World

This place is a must try if you're in North Bay! The staff are like a well-oiled machine, super fast and friendly! The atmosphere is great, the staff do a little WOOOO !!, once in a while, they seem like they have fun! The food is really amazing! LOTS of homemade wholesome items to choose from. Great portions and prices. The pickerel is my go to , done to perfection. My husband says the clubhouse was perfect and best he's had yet anywhere. Can't say enough good about the place.

Burger World? Yes please, this is the place where you can get a nice, warm, and juicy burger made to order. Friendly staff member always with a smile ready to serve you, the customers here are also very warm and feels more like a huge family around. Fast service and plenty of parking space near the restaurant.

The "Burger World" name is misleading, but in a good way! This place is closer in spirit to a great New Jersey-style diner than it is to bring the fast food joint its name implies. Table service, waitresses with hearts of gold, fantastic breakfasts, great big extensive menu all available all times of day, and great takeout service too. One of the best diners I've been in in Ontario!

It was tasty with good service. Prices are great! I will definitely be back to support this small business. The burgers and poutine were delicious.

Passing through North Bay heading to Sturgeon Falls, we stopped in for a bite. We ordered a hamburger combo with fries and a loaded burger, and a cheese and mushroom topped burger and fries with a side of gravy. These were the best burgers we've ever tasted. The fries were perfect. Food was hot and plentiful, and our server was excellent. So friendly and efficient. The place was packed which is always a good sign! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Delicious food, better than Webbers on the way to our cottage. The staff required a few promptings from the manager to stay on top of getting our order and answering questions. Overall would definitely return.

Burger World is a nice family restaurant with plenty of good food to choose from (all-day breakfast too)! Nicole was a great server - she was efficient, kind, and thoughtful. We enjoyed our meal before our long travels ahead. Thank you for a nice dining experience- we will be back!

While the food was acceptable, there is room for improvement in the presentation. I ordered the burger combo, and the filling was nearly falling out, requiring me to reposition it myself. This oversight suggests that greater attention to detail could enhance the overall dining experience for customers.

This is your best bet for consistent food and service, no frills dining, and a low-key very casual ambience.

food is good. ordered online and went in to pick up. very unorganised. food was good, but alas no gravy again. third time in a row ordering and no gravy. fries are now soggy. again. oh, i could go back, but then what condition are my fries now in, 30 mins later? no thanks. something small, turns into a "never ordering again" scenario. its all good. other places in town. lots gravy. perhaps, they are just too busy. we will ease that burden.

Tried this place in the summer and my god it will be the most underwhelming burger you've ever had. I really thought since they have more than one location they must make amazing burgers but nope. My advice is if you're craving a good, solid burger definitely dont go here. Think it's more something people who have lived here love just because they're used to it so it's more comfort food for them

Absolutely loved stopping here on our road trip! The food was fantastic and the service was exceptional.

My hubby took me here and was raving about Burger World being the go to spot for his breakfast during his university days. I don't even like burgers and I LOVED the bacon cheeseburger I had. The place is very family friendly. The first restaurant I've ever seen that has booster chairs and high chairs. The staff there are all so nice and quick to serve and help. We'll definitely be coming back!

Whether a quick take-out or a dining experience that is OUTTA THIS BURGER WORLD, this is a GREAT spot. Don't be fooled by the name, Burger World's menu is vast like the oceans of our own World. The choices of toppings for your burger are plentiful and other Worldly. The staff is so friendly. Fun Fact: Canadian Screen Award Winning show CARDINAL has shot here! I am a fan of the Jumbo burger. A world of choices at Burger World. This is a hopping place with the local Northern Bay crowd. You know a place is good when it's packed all the time. The burgers are good the poutine is awesome! The milkshakes fantastic. When we are driving through NB we make sure we drop in for a burger and poutine. Good and friendly service! Good prices.

If you're looking for good food, fast, at a fair price, check out this Burger World near Northgate Square. Fish and Chips are a personal favourite and have been great every time we have had them. Our only disappointment so far was their hot hamburger special - oddly enough,

VERY GOOD for breakfast!! If you like fast food aka. truck stop style food you will love this place for lunch and supper too.... The waitresses are great, always smiling, fast, efficient, and down to earth! Great atmosphere and very quick service. If your looking for a quick and yummy meal this is the place! Both locations are great food wise, though the Hammond location can be very uncomfortable if it is busy, as there is not a lot of room in the middle of the dinning room! You must get one of those BIG butter tarts on your way out!! YUM YUM.... About 500+ calories per tart, probably not a great idea too often... lol. All in all a good place to eat! :)

It's good diner type food, I haven't had a lunch there that I didn't like, busy all the time on weekends as well as during the week at lunch time. There is another one on O'Brien but I prefer the Hammond location myself.

Food is AWESOME! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when it is busy the food isn't the same- we go there regularly, however this morning it was busy so our toast was dry to the point that my husband didn't eat his- I put jam on mine and it was fine. Took awhile to be served which isn't usual for this restaurant as I go with my kids on weekday mornings and its PERFECT. Server was trying to go faster then she was capable of and the guy behind the desk (bigger guy-may have been manager or supervisor) was speaking with servers who were clearly busy so that likely took away from service someone was requiring. Maybe another prep cook during the weekend would change this review to a 5 star. I will be rewriting this review if we see change. Burger World on Hammond has the potential to be the best restaurant please just change the weekend experience!!

For a family meal you cannot beat their friendly efficient service. Sometimes a tiny wait at noon, but the line moves fast and the service is so good you can still do lunch in good time. The fries are excellent, the menu as a whole is excellent value. Our go to place to eat in North Bay when we want a breakfast or lunch.

I recently placed an order for delivery the employee I spoke to was very friendly. Delivery was fat. I had the chicken burger (grilled) combo and mushroom caps. Everything was still not when it arrived. Will order again.

Been regularly enjoying the wonderful food and friendly service for many years now. Took a chance and stopped for a meal about 9 years ago and my wife and I are regulars whenever we need to have breakfast or lunch. The lineup at noon attests to the popularity of this restaurant. The recent facelift and new booths and tables are a definite improvement but the consistency in the quality of the food keeps us coming back. The French Fries are the best in town and the burgers are awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want good food for a reasonable price.
