The restaurant is located inside the station just in front of Hema and it offers a very delicious burgers in a good quantity for a good price let’s have our super amazing and polite and they also have a Hanon menu which basically includes the vegetarian options and chicken

Nice location, but we got the “you’re a tourist so WDGAF what you think” vibe. One burger was cold and dry and the cheese didn’t even think about melting. The other burger was a vegan “chicken” that had potential, but it too was dry. Fries were OK. S. Pellegrino and Coke Zero were served in small bottles for €3.30 and €3.50. I know Americans are fatties and expect serving sizes fit for a hippo (or a family of hippos)…but €3.50 for what seemed like a 200mL bottle of soda is cray. I liked the ability to scan a QR code and order from the table. Very Gen Alpha not to have to talk to anyone…especially when the food is of marginal quality (and thus overpriced).

Calm, cozy and peaceful, music per my taste, awesome ordering system with qr code. And then the burger...that is one good burger, really, really good! I was astonished that you can find such a good burger near the train station. Service was great, the lady serving was kind and helpful! Definitely coming back when in AMS again!

very central location for visitors. I tried Old Amsterdam Burger with a local triplet beer. The taste of both were wonderful. The staff was very kind.

A bit overpriced. Food was good , service was okay . We got food very fast and you can order with phone or with the staff.

Went in for a quick meal, II finished it really quickly, while watching the people through the window. Devoured it all really quickly!

Great service from helpful staff, very good sandwiches, and decent beer, once you can navigate the menu (old people here) ! Staff will help

I had the best salmon sandwich ever at BurgerIJ. Along with the perfectly cooked salmon, it had wakame salad and a few slices of pickled ginger—so unique and delicious. My family enjoyed their beef burgers. Friendly service. And we got our food quickly. But we waited for a long time for the bill, even after having asked for it. This is located inside the Amsterdam Centraal Station.

May 29/19: mediocre service & food quality marked this mini train wreck. The server was too busy outside having a smoke to actually serve our drinks. I did it myself & he got upset. This pic is of a chicken burger...looks more like a grilled sandwich to me. It tasted only average & the fries were just passable with a virtually tasteless salad. The thing is her is they don't have to be good. They're in the Amsterdam Centraal Station so automatically they'll get a good piece of business.

This was in the Amsterdam Central train station. Prices were reasonable. Burgers were giant and fries aplenty. I just cant get over the overpriced soft drink prices all over Europe. If you didnt want a burger you could get chicken or a salad. Service was slow but not any worse than other places.

The service is great, by the time you look at the menu at least 3 staffs will pass by to ask you if you need something. The food is nothing special, I love burger and this was nothing to brag about. This is a great spot at central station to wait, the windows are large with great view of the busy bike path to the ferry. The toilette, decent and clean, I almost crushed a small child behind the door, there is a weird cove behind that door, so open slowly. Would I recommend? only if you are in the area. Will I go back? Only if I am in the area.

"Most likely the best Burgers you will ever taste" the Menu told me. It was wrong. By a long way. I got a decent Burger, the "Smokey Bacon" but nothing to rave about. The meat was good but it was let down by the boring bun, the tasteless BBQ-sauce and cheese. Fries are also not "the best" and the side salad was very boring (Cucumber and Tomatoes cut into huge pieces). Prices are reasonable by Dutch Standards, but if you want your money's worth, skip the 3,50€ for the salad and the fries and order an appetizer instead. It´s a nice place to sit generally, service was friendly but not always helpful.

Long story short Service: poor and slow Waiters: nice Food time: machine broken slow Food: meh Came in and already waited 5 minutes before a waitress asked me what's up and she told me to seat myself. Took 20 minutes before anyone came to take my order when there were only 4 other tables occupied and 6 employees (although they could have been training new employees, not really sure) standing around. I finally got to order the bacon burger. Also the menu inside isn't English so read the one outside the store first if you can't read Dutch. After I ordered they informed me the machine to cook the burger was broken and is being fixed which would take 15 to 20 minutes. Seriously...? Ok whatever things happen. So I asked what I could order in the mean time and they recommended fries or salads, I ordered fries so I could munch on them while I waited. The fries came out in 5 minutes but it took the waiter another 5 minutes to get it (keep in mind there were only 4 other tables and they've all been served and there were 6 servers standing around). Burger came out shortly after the fries (at least they fixed their machine quickly) and there's no cheese on it. Sigh... At this point I really just want to get up and leave. The burger does not taste like beef it taste like a fake garden burger and all I taste is bbq sauce. The fries were meh too. Overall disappointed. Don't bother wasting your time and calories here. If you must have a burger I think there's a burger king around here, I rather just go there instead.

Burgers were average, not the best and of the worse we've had. The handcut steak fries however were excellent and delicious! Service was quick and friendly and bill wasn't too dear either. Situated inside Centraal Station also so very handy to get to In a hurry.

This was the meeting spot for Tomorrowland 2019 attendees who bought the Amsterdam Train package via Global Journey. The burgers were ok, nothing special. I am a tourist and would not eat here if I did not have to pick up my Tomorrowland tickets. We also have very good burgers in the US, so this review is a bit skewed based on US burger standards.

If you have an hour to wait for a mediocre burger, go for it. If you have kids, do not go to this 'kid friendly' restaurant, because they do not have a high chair or booster, yet they have a playroom for children?! Completely unapologetic staff. Crazy woman sleeping in the children's play area with a dog, who was chewing all the kid's toys. Total yard sale.

Mediocre. By far not the best burger I've ever had, but also not the worst. It's fine, and taste is alright, but nothing to write home about. The service -- I waited at a table for 20 minutes before I was reluctantly approached with a drink menu. Finally, when the waiter circled back around again to take the order, he appeared like life is just all consuming for him, and well, hated his job to boot. Burger took a while to prepare, but arrived as expected. Filled me up, and was on my way.

There are few times where my bubble of expectations has burst to the extent that it has at Burgerij. For weeks I was passing their intended location getting hunger pangs from the posters they triumphantly advertised their burgers with. It was a lovely sunny day when their doors finally opened. I received a warm welcome and was seated promptly. There were 3, maybe 4 other tables being served at the moment. In other words, it wasn't busy. I was as giddy as a child on Christmas morning, when I got the menu. Having been salivating for the past weeks, it didn't take long to make a choice. I went for a children's burger with a slice of cheese. Simple. While waiting for my order to be prepared, I read their slogan at the bottom of their placemat and smiled "Most likely the best burgers you will ever taste" When my order arrived. No cheese. That's OK. It can happen when the team needs to get used to each other. I notified the waitress who promptly took my order back to the kitchen. When it came back, I couldn't wait to post that beautiful burger on Instagram and took my first bite... wah wah wah (insert sad trombone sound effect here) They need to change their slogan to "Most likely the BLANDEST burger you will ever taste"

We were out sightseeing all day and stopped in here to get something to eat. We really didn't want to order drinks, so we ordered two tapwaters. We were told that unless we ordered one drink, they would actually charge us for tapwater. This is a new rip-off, even by European standards. This will be our last trip to this restaurant.

Was there today had a smokey bacon burger! Was not the best burger I ever had,but what to expect at the central station? The waiting staff was pretty chaotic, and then we saw what I assume to be the boss screaming at the guy who was standing behind the bar. While he was the only one who did in our eyes a very good job.
