Definitely 5 out of 5!! If you’re traveling to Rotterdam and wanna have nice burger and fresh veg salad, you must come here instead of other international big chain brands!! The stuff are so welcoming. The food not even need to be mentioned- they’re amazingly good! There might be chances to see some art exhibitions or live music around while eating in. Love!!🤤❤️ Highly recommend.

Such a shame these guys are now closing for good!! They definitely had the best vega burgers in town, earthy and full of flavors, so delicious! Wish you the best guys and I hope to taste another burger or yours one day somewhere new.

When I went years ago, I was very impressed by their burgers. This time I ordered the burger as a salad but was a bit dissapointed. My burger had been grilled too long and was a bit too charred and too tough. I also thought that the salad would have been a bit more than just a swap out of the burger bun with some lettuce. The toppings were served seperately in cute small metal containers. All in all it was a bit underwhelming.

Not the best burgers in town, but they make up for it with the convenient location, the personal service, the free spirited atmosphere, and the balanced selection of their entire menu. They offer a good variety of choices in burgers, side dishes, and drinks. I found that their buns tend to get soggy (sometimes more than other occasions) so I prefer to have the burgers as a salad. And the salads are quite generous also. Tried almost everything on the menu at this point, and visited several times across the past 18 months. This time I've had their oyster mushroom kroketten, which are also very tasty.

What a great place. Individual and quirky. Great veggie and vegan options. Polite, efficient staff and super food.

We really enjoyed the vegan kapsalon and the vegan dushi. Service was very good!

This place is laidback and very queer friendly. The burgers and fries are nice and there is a cozy atmosphere. The kapsalon also looked nice! Close to the station.

So 4 stars is fair for a European place. If this was in the USA i would give it 2.5. Beef in the Netherlands is just different than UsA. The taste is really funny and u cannot make any good food with it. Me and my wife eat more chicken and fish now. We had the Texas and the olive burger, i liked the olive and my wife like the Texas burger. The potatoes are below mediocre. They try hard to sauce the burgers since beef sucks here. I give them that.

What a hipster place! But fun. The decor is so simple but interesting because of small details. I had a Baked Jamaican burger. Made of tofu prepared with a jerky sauce and red onions. A veggie burger with a lot of taste. Also their drinks are with a twist. They serve drinks of Fritz, a German company. Cool place.

A very good burger joint with an inconspicuous storefront. Burgertrut sits just across the street from Markthal's western entrance, next to the canal. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere and plenty of space to not feel claustrophobic like other places. The burger selection wasn't as plentiful as I thought but they're tasty nevertheless. There's a Specials Menu on the back wall.

If I would be vegan I would have been in vegan burger heaven here. There's more vegan than carnivore options. However, I was slightly intoxicated and all I wanted was a dirty beefy burger. The cheese massacre I got was doing my meat cravings no good. A crunchy bun and dry patty and hardly any cheese or sauce. No fries on the menu, and the 'potato wedges' were basically rosemary baby potatoes that I do better at home. If I'm in a healthy mode I would come back here, but not when I want a real juicy burger with all the trimmings.

Cool place if you want to have a nice meal with your buddy before hitting the town. Definitely quite unique in terms of food, service, and general concept. The burgers themselves will be more than enough and are quite good though the quality varies a lot from burger to burger. I've had some really juicy tasty ones, and some burgers were just too plain and simple. Nonetheless, if you want to go for a more funky diring option and are looking for a 'fastfood' alternative, this is the place to go.

Nice atmosphere and great vegan burgers. I would recommend it if your looking for a good meal to a good price in central Rotterdam!

Not bad at all, the meat was tasty, but if u r looking for a traditional burger this is not the place, not at all.. They dont even have fries :) also they more options for vegetarians.. If u like to try smt different go for it, but if u r looking for a real burger, no way..

Burgers are bomb! Good selection of tasty beef patty burgers as well as vegetarian/vegan options. Side dishes are nice too. Serves fritz kola if you're into that, too. Star deducted because the smoke from the open kitchen (!) seeps into the dining area, which was a bit disturbing during the meal. The smell and taste of charred meat smoke in the air did little to stimulate our appetites, and we left as quickly as we could. However, the meal was still great!
