Buri Gallery House Resort

We could NOT have chosen a better place for our first ever vacation in Thailand. Everything at the hotel - especially the staff - is fantastic and genuinely welcoming. Our rooms were perfect, well laid-out, and exceptionally suited to provide maximum comfort for guests. As a bonus, the Sunday Night Market is conveniently located on the street outside the hotel as are many numerous restaurants, shops, and other amenities, all within a few meters.|Additionally, the hotel offers other niceties, such as Sunday afternoon tea... which we enjoyed with the hotel's most important staff member: Kanoon, the sweetest pitbull dog you've ever met. Kanoon made the stay here 100% for my son, who loves dogs more than he does any humans. |While I could go on and on about the facilities and amenities, it quite frankly the people working here that have made this the best vacation my family and I have ever experienced together. Never before have we encountered such genuine and compassionate treatment from a hotel staff - quite simply: they are amazing. I would live here in the hotel permanently, if it were possible.

We arrived on the night train and were immediately warmly welcomed and picked up at the station. Even though we couldn't get into our room yet, we were allowed to shower and leave our suitcases.|We've never experienced such friendly and helpful staff. They were open to all questions and happy to chat. We will also miss the warm, welcoming reception dog, Kanu, very much.|The hotel is perfectly located, right in the city center and close to all the sights. Thanks to its central location, you can quickly hail a taxi and the Wat Phra Singh temple is just a few meters away. Moreover, there are many lovely restaurants nearby.|We took three tours, which were easily arranged by the hotel. All three were equally enjoyable and meticulously planned.|The hotel also offers various in-house activities: we did the "Giving Alms to the Monks" and "Tea Tasting." Both were very nice and original experiences.|The room was excellent and clean and the air conditioning was a must. The housekeepers also checked the room daily. Because we booked directly (highly recommended), we were welcomed with delicious snacks in our room.|The breakfast was extensive, well-prepared, and delicious. There was both local and international food. The service was fast and friendly.|We highly recommend Buri Gallery House to anyone planning a visit to Chiang Mai. In short, we enjoyed five wonderful days with wonderful people!!!

I spent a week at Buri Gallery House and honestly it felt like home. I stayed in the Buri Suite on the second floor with a lovely view of the garden. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming, exactly what I was hoping for. If you book directly with them, it’s the best option! I enjoyed a relaxing afternoon tea on Sunday and they even offered me a free dinner with wine. Their ribs were amazing, one of the best meals I had in Chiang Mai. I also loved having the pool to cool down after exploring the city. Such a charming place with wonderful people. I can’t wait to return

We had such a lovely time here at Buri Gallery House. The staff were all so lovely and friendly - they would help with anything. The food was delicious and generous both at breakfast and the cafe. The style of the hotel was beautiful, the pool never too busy and a very comfortable stay. The activities were very lovely and informative - definitely sign up! Would highly recommend! :)

If you're looking for a quaint, quieter spot for a great value yet in the middle of Old Chiang Mai, Buri Gallery House is your place. My son and I stayed three nights (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) in the upper suite #9. Good sized room tastefully decorated. Comfy beds, very clean with AC and an air fan/purifier. A nice little outside seating area. They also have a medium sized clean pool. The breakfast was fairly basic but tasty. Our rate included airport pickup and drop off which was very convenient. ||The team was excellent but a special shoutout to Dao who picked us up, booked our zip line (King Kong) and elephant (Elephant Jungle Sanctuary) sanctuary tours (both were excellent, I will post separate TA feedback on their respective sites). She also researched Muay Thai boxing match options. Big shoutout to Dao! ||A few local notes: | - Its Good Kitchen is right across the street, highly rated, excellent Northern Thai cuisine, incredibly reasonable. | - Check out North Gate Jazz Co-op for live music. About a ten minute walk or short tuk tuk for about 100 BHT. | - The street right out front of the hotel closes on Sunday afternoons for a large pop up night/walk market with tons of shopping opportunities and a big street food section with an amazing array of delish options on the cheap. | - Hide Land rooftop bar - about a ten minute grab/taxi ride. Excellent drink options, eclectic food menu, two stories. Definitely a locals spot.

Perfect location for the amazing Sunday Market - just step outside and you’re there, yet the hotel remains peaceful and quiet. Nice facilities and very helpful staff who went above and beyond to assist us with every request. The pool is small but fun, and breakfast is great (though a few more vegan options would be welcome). Overall, highly recommended!

This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful staff, super friendly and helpful. The rooms are incredible, comfy bed, good shower, fridge, free mini bar. I stayed in a suite and I 100% recommend!!! Big balcony and outdoor furniture, fan outside. Every evening they come and light insect repellant on your balcony. Clean as a whistle. Yummy food and excellent breakfast included. Location is perfect 10/10

Staying at Buri Gallery House was such a lovely experience! The rooms were perfect for our 4-day stay in Chiang Mai—charming, cozy, and full of character. It gave us that quaint, peaceful vibe we were hoping for.
