It was very loud and crowded and the prices were over the top... I know some people enjoy this type of setting but you get more bang for your buck over at Flavor Del Mar. At least at Flavor you get an ocean view. I guess this is a good stop before going to the Cinepolis in Del Mar.

Huge restaurant...decor is "different", but trendy. Goes with thier theme. Went for lunch and dinner....both times were a completely different experience. Lunch time on a Saturday was not crowded so our service was great with no wait. The menu was limited and food was pretty good. Dinner time on a Friday night was packed! Our service on Friday was sloooooooow...we waited for 45 minutes, even though we had a reservation. They did make it up to us giving us a few comped apps--which were delish! Menu had more options and everything we ordered was yummy! Would go back there again!

If only the attention to the flavors coming out of the kitchen were as high as the heels hair and prices at this establishment, it would be terrific. despite their tagline being “where West eats meat," they are all sizzle, no steak. stupid, vapid, ill-conceived menu, served by some of the best and most underappreciated wait staff in the area.

What a mess!!!! From the food, to the crowd, to the lack of parking- everything was out of sinc for us. We actually had a reservation for friday night dinner and they made us wait close to 30 minutes, the bar was extremely crowded so getting a drink was out of the question. When we actually sat down and ordered, we were dissappointed by the food. Tiny, greasy portions. Nothing like its fellow restaurants. The wait staff was rude and had no patience Never coming back

Food was inventive and mostly very tasty and well prepared. Crab cake best ever. Pork belly and Char Siu also delightful. Salmon and Angry Fish were wonderful.Venison carpaccio also a treat. Confit was pretty ordinary though. Service was terrific and prices were fair for the quality of food and service received.

Have no idea what they put in their food but its mouth watering, great meeting place, plenty of open space... wondering why no photo? Maybe it's because they are so busy?

I like Burlap. The drinks are amazing but food is just ok however with great presentation. Must visit once atleast.
