Bruma Bistro is a charming casual dining spot that embodies local flair. The restaurant is divided into two floors, with the 3rd floor featuring live KTV in a low-key setting, sans flashy lighting, and the 2nd floor dedicated to dining. Prices are reasonable, and the menu has been adapted to cater to international tastes.
Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a disappointing squid dish, which was overcooked, dry, and covered in greasy crumbs. Additionally, the WiFi had been down for several days, which was inconvenient during my return visit and not sure why it’s not fixed, bistro's proximity to my hotel make it convenient for me to come almost every night.
The satay is unique, not the usual one you tried in Singapore or Malaysia, over here it’s a chunk of meat on a skewer served with peanut butter with chilly oil. Prepare a dental floss after meal is ideal.
Other than the WiFi & the squid. I enjoyed the ambiance.
