Where to get the best sweet treats in Singapore - SilverKris

"The bakery arm of a Michelin-starred restaurant that brings the same creativity and wood-fired flair to baked goods, offering everything from stuffed doughnuts with fillings like Iranian pistachio to cinnamon rolls, savoury scones and standout cookies—such as brown butter chocolate chip and salted caramelised white chocolate macadamia—that strike a pleasing balance between crispiness, crunch and sweet‑salty depth." - Rachel Eva Lim

Generally a cute cafe! Very sweet employees and a nice vibe inside, just not quite sure I understand the hype around the donuts. The ratio of dough to filling was way off (an insane amount of filling) to the point that I had to just dump out most of the filling. We tried the seasonal, vanilla, and the jam. All were very very sweet and had the filling issue. Not my vibe but if you’re really into filling this is the spot for you. Coffee and matcha were solid!

The donuts is a must get... Bonus is to top up with their soft serve... for sure sample there is never enough time to sample all the goodness. good chill vibes in the little enclave outside with occasional bbq events as well...

The beef marmalade cruffin had is, without exaggeration, one of the best pastries I’ve ever had — refined and complex flavors and impeccably put together. Wow. Is it expensive? Sure. But they certainly deliver quality in return. Whether it’s worth your while depends on your pockets I suppose.

They have such great doughnuts! Their Iranian pistachio doughnut is amazing! So far everything I had here has been nice. They also have sandwiches, bread, coffee and other things to bring home. Good coffe, nice that you sit outside. Can be very crowded in the weekends, but it’s worth the wait if you ask me.

I often visit Burnt Ends bakery, known for its excellent donuts and other baked goods. After a disappointing experience with a donut from another cafe, I was reminded to leave this bakery a five-star review. I have tried many of their baked items and genuinely enjoy each one. My go to place for donuts and bread!

Don’t believe the hype, but this is truly only a takeaway bakery. It’s a bakery with one of the worst customer experiences because they expect you to cut through crust and pastry with a light wooden bio knife. They serve everything on paper plates too and refuse to heat up the food on request. So unless you like cold bakes, getting charged exorbitant prices for mediocre food in a surrounding they hardly bother to clean up, don’t come here.

Burnt Ends Bakery is a true standout in Singapore’s bakery scene. Everything here is crafted with such precision and bold flavour—it’s clear why people line up for their goods. I tried the classic vanilla doughnut and one of their signature savoury pastries (asparagus with ham), and both were unforgettable. The doughnut had the perfect pillowy texture, lightly dusted with sugar, and filled with what tasted like a silky vanilla custard—balanced, not overly sweet, and incredibly satisfying. It’s one of the best I’ve had in Singapore. The savoury pastry was next-level. Beautifully caramelised layers with a deep, buttery crunch on the outside, while the inside was warm, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned. You can tell it’s made with time, skill, and serious care. The topping of crisped cheese added an addictive texture. The space is small but well-organised, with friendly service and a relaxed vibe. It’s clear Burnt Ends Bakery takes its craft seriously, and the results speak for themselves. Whether you’re a sweet tooth or savoury fan, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu—and probably hoard a few doughnuts next time!

The dough was fresh and perfect. I also tried the vanilla ice cream — smooth and tasty. I sat outside; the area is well-ventilated with fans, making it a pleasant spot to relax.
