Yelp
Extremely high quality food. I was tempted to give them five stars for the food alone. The service was about three stars, so I'll settle on four stars.
Started things off the humble salad, adding goat cheese. The maple balsamic vinaigrette sent what would have been a very good salad into excellent salad territory. I could have eaten three of these.
For main course, I had the elk & blueberry sausage. This comes with an ample amount of dijon mustard which is better with the mashed potatoes than the sausage. The mashed potatoes were the kind with the good texture - potatoes that had been mashed just enough to be called mashed, and no more. The sausage was great, but the real standout was the daily vegetable, which was kai-lan aka chinese broccoli, with an olive oil pepper sauce.
Service was about average, but I have a feeling that they were short-staffed when I visited, so I don't fault them for that.
The pricing was about average for the region, and an absolute steal based on the quality of the food.
There was a long line at the Klondike Rib & Salmon BBQ next door, which I also researched, but I'm happy I decided to go with Burnt Toast instead. I'd definitely go back here.
