It seems that bad luck and poor communication among staff made for a lukewarm experience at this cafe.
After waiting for a long time for our food, an employee (not our server) asked if we wanted the bill. Surprised, I told her we had not yet received our food. As the employee clearly did not know the status of our order, I told another employee that we would cancel the order and pay for drinks.
It was at this point that our server arrived and, apologetically, provided our food. Unfortunately, she got part of our order wrong and had to come back again.
I understand that mistakes happen and, to her credit, our server did apologise. However, there are other restaurants in Whitehorse, so I am not sure if I would come back here.
