We stayed in the Gold room on the second floor. It's a std bedroom with a double bed and a shared bathroom with one other room. No issues sharing the bathroom. It was always available and 4 steps away from our room for night time visits. No different than at home for us. Super clean beautiful tiled bathroom. We were on the go most of our stay attending U of M football, shopping and dining out. If you are a TV watcher you will need to head out for this as there is no television. Lots to do in Ann Arbor and the B&B is within walking distance of eateries, football, sightseeing, lots of fun things. Very safe area. Once we parked for the weekend the car never moved until we checked out. Sarah (proprietor) is a delight and so knowledgeable about the area and a conversationalist at heart. Super good food for breakfast. Very thoughtfully planned. Would highly recommend for any visit to Ann Arbor. Comfortable at home experience!

We had an absolutely wonderful and lovely time with Sarah (and her sweet dog Gus!) at the Burnt Toast Inn on our recent stay. Her warm welcome and hospitality while we were there, helpful suggestions, thoughtful touches like coffee makers near our room in addition to delicious breakfasts made her inn feel like a home away from home. It's location within a short walk to downtown Ann Arbor and U of M campus make it the perfect place to stay when visiting and we plan to book here again next time we are in town!

This is a bed and breakfast. |The proprietor Sarah is there but in a very pleasant and totally unobtrusive way. Coffee and delicious breakfast fare available in the morning. A full refrigerator with drinks etc. All part of the price.|We rented the entire house for a graduation. Her outdoor area was nice. We made a fire one night and sat around the fire pit and that was lovely. Cook dinner there one, had catering another night.|Beds and rooms are comfortable and clear.|Furnishing very cool, bit eclectic. Spare, sleek and modern it isnt but clean interesting and cozy it is. |Walkable to campus and games|Was an excellent exclamation point on our son's four years in Ann Arbor. |Highly recommend.

Really great place! Looking forward to staying again. Clean, comfortable rooms, with great breakfast. The house dog, Gus, is incredible.

Sarah has two houses for the Inn, and I stayed at the Washington. I enjoyed the beautiful home, kitchen, garden, and the hospitality of Sarah and her kind neighbors. It was tough to leave!

Utterly charming, with extensive and eclectic artwork, colors, textiles, and furnishings. Not at all ostentatious, but intuitively and personally curated. We had a wonderful stay in The Master Bedroom, enjoying its tub and comfortable bed. Sarah and her dog, Gus, are wonderful hosts who are also friendly and generous with kindness. Breakfast was tasty and bountiful with an array of options. We stayed two nights and will hope to return in the future.

We stayed 2 nights in the master suite, which is very nicely decorated, comfortable and spacious. The bathroom is huge with both a shower and a large tub, with plenty of space for your toiletries. Speaking of toiletries, most things that you need are available, such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, make-up remover wipes, shower caps, and bath products. There's a window AC unit and a fan on the wall near the bed. Sarah makes you feel very welcome, and whips up a very tasty breakfast, with lots of healthy options as well. We would love to stay again the next time we find ourselves in Ann Arbor.

I spent three restful days at the Burnt Toast Inn last week. I was warmly welcomed by Sarah and her calm and beautiful black lab Gus. Burnt Toast Inn furnishings are comfortable and eclectic. There is art on every wall. The kitchen fridge is available to guests and there's a spread of snacks and tea/coffee/cold beverages available all day. There is a round table set for guests and people come and go at ease. I stayed in the "Gold" Room and shared a bathroom with the other single room on the second floor and it worked out seamlessly. I highly recommend a stay here if you are in Ann Arbor and seeking a truly restorative type of lodging.
