Burnt Toast

This is officially my new favorite place for food in Alaska. I enjoyed the food so much the first time, I've been back 5 times in less than a month. Not only do I not usually eat out, but I'm driving from Anchorage for it. When I do go somewhere, I usually get the same thing becuase I've found something I like. The first time I ate here, I knew there wouldn't be anything bad on the menu. I've had 6 meals, and each one makes me want to see what else this place is capable of. It's just a kitchen and some outdoor seating if you decide to eat there; but it's comfortable, and you are greeted by friendly faces every time. This place is unique, and I'm here for it! I had the italian sausage mac & cheese, served with toast and a side salad. It was really good, perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was topped with a lemon wedge, which I thought was a bit odd. I squeezed on a little lemon juice and wow, that really made it pop. Highly recommend. I'll definitely stop by again to try some of their other menu items, like the hangover burger. French toast as a bun and a fried egg, sounds interesting and delicious. The one drawback is I didn't see any dine-in seating, the only seating I saw was in the Pioneer Bar just steps away in a separate building. But they do bring you food to you there.

Such a cute spot. Stopped for dinner, will definitely swing back by tomorrow. It was hard to pick just one thing to eat because it all looked so good! The burger we had was juicy and cooked well, which is hard to come by these days. The fries and tater tots are both delicious, I could barely stop myself from eating more even though I was beyond full. The turkey club was great, really enjoyed the pickles in it.

Amazing food, fall off the bone short ribs. Friendly staff and a cozy bar to eat the hot food.

Oh my goodness. The BEST pulled pork dish I've had since I've been up here from Alabama (7 years). What do you know. Found in Willow, Alaska. Mashed potatoes, pulled pork, corn, black beans, AMAZING BBQ sauce. Nice ladies cooking the food!! I can't compliment them more.

I was wildly surprised by Burnt Toast the first time I ate there. Honestly, looking at the tiny bar it’s tucked behind, I expected more of a food truck–style meal—fried, greasy, good, but nothing beyond that. Instead, I was blown away. A friend and I went this summer and sat outside in the beer garden, where we were quickly greeted by kind, welcoming staff. Not going to lie I was skeptical. Couldn't have been more pleased!! These ladies are the nicest people and put out some amazing food. Quality ingredients and absolutely delicious! The prices are extremely reasonable. From the moment we placed our order (which wasn't small) to the moment it was delivered to our car was 14 minutes! 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Cute little place behind a bar and next to a campground with a nice stream. Salad with salmon was good. Ask the golden Josie to show you her favorite wading spot while you wait for your food.

The service was so fast (we were a medium sized group). The ladies there were super kind and friendly. They accommodated my vegan diet by making the fries cheese less and asked me if I could take honey as they dipping ginger sauce that comes with the veggie rolls had some. The veggie rolls were very very good and the ginger sauce delicious. My meat eating friends loved them too. The fries were epic! Crisp and seasoned to perfection!

Phenomenal food and friendly service. We all enjoyed sitting outside and eating our delicious fish, burgers, potato salad, and fries!

Just popped by today for the first time. Have heard great things, had a Pub Burger with Fries to go. The owner, a right friendly gal with a sunny smile, was cooking. It was delicous! Fresh bun, burger cooked just right, skinny sliced grilled onions, gouda, a nice smoky bacon, and fresh, hot, well seasoned crinkle fries. Also a real cute little garnish skewer with an Arbol pepper and some hot gherkins. It really hit the spot. I was happy! And the prices are surprisingly reasonable. There's a cute outdoor patio for about six, you can also take your food over to the adjacent bar. I'm glad to have this delicious little eatery option here in Willow, AK.

Food was incredible, I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger with potato salad, the pineapple teriyaki burger with fries and for desert the brownie ala mode and cheese cake. I couldn't have had a better experience and the homemade quality is second to none. These ladies know how to throw down a good meal. Some of the best potato salad I've had my entire life. I wasn't aloud to even take a bite of the teriyaki burger and that's all I needed to know about it. My burger was the blue cheese bacon burger and it was absolutely incredible, no grease on any of the food, perfectly heated and cooked everything was done within 10 minutes after I called for a pickup meal. The service was phenomenal and fast. A must stop hidden gem.

So impressed with the menu. The food is awesome! Very different from the usual Willow fair! If you're looking for good food in Willow, then this is it. :)
