Burr & Co. London is a lovely café with a great atmosphere. The space is bright and spacious, making it a perfect spot to relax or get some work done. The food and coffee were excellent, and everything was fresh and well-prepared. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the positive experience. A great place to enjoy a peaceful coffee break.

Charge almost £6 for a coffee and can’t even make one. they burnt the milk and made it all foamy. A flat white is meant to be flat. Horrible burnt milk aftertaste. Awful customer service we didn’t even open our boxes from the bakery next door and a rude woman said no outside food here.

Overall a nice place to get a morning coffee, but it does get very busy even from 9am, with people working at the tables. Not quite the place to go for a coffee and catch up, but good for students. The food itself was very tasty and the matcha they serve is good quality. They also have non-diary milks available.

Loved it! 😍 Cafe is in a beautiful building and offers brunch and small treats! 🥐🥰 I had a earl grey tea 🫖 and a cute lemon muffin 🧁which was absolutely amazing 🤩 It was so soft and fluffy! ❤️ The service was soo helpful and kind 🤝🏼 This cafe is definitely laptopfriendly!! They have loads of space, free wifi and many plugs 🔌 for charging! 💘 Definitely worth a try!!

The service here was a true disappointment. The lady at the counter was in such a hurry that she rolled her eyes at me twice when I asked about their tea selection. Our conversation literally went like this: Me: "Hi! Could you tell me what Storm tea means on your menu?" Cashier: "That's just a brand." Me: "Oh? So would it be green or black tea?" Cashier: "I said it's just a brand. You have to choose what you want." *Gestures impatiently at fine print on the menu.* Me: *Bending over to study fine print* "I see, so there are these different types. And what about the Yorkshire breakfast tea listed above?" Cashier: *Rolls eyes* "That's just normal tea." Me: *Confused* Cashier: *Rolls eyes again* "It's just normal tea. It's not Storm tea. Storm tea is everything but the normal tea. So which one do you want?" On the bright side, the space is pleasant. Music quite loud. Tea turned out fine. If you're looking for coffee in the area, though, I'd recommend the Observatory, just a few blocks away. Reading the other reviews, I get the feeling that this place is frequented quite often by students, and that the staff might treat you better if you don't look like one.

Google
very happy to find this spot to work remotely from London. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is very cool. You can work listening to Great music in the background and order some amazing food. And let me tell you.. I truly believe they have the best toilets in London!! ☺️ the Cheese grilled sandwich was amazing!!

Burr & Co London was my first stop after landing in the city, and what a phenomenal choice it was! Nestled in the heart of Bloomsbury, this gem is more than just a coffeehouse; it’s a sanctuary. The atmosphere is perfect for settling down with your laptop, thanks to plenty of plug sockets and speedy Wi-Fi, making it an ideal spot for those important meetings or just catching up on work. The building itself, part of the Kimpton Fitzroy London, a Grade II listed Victorian marvel, adds to the charm of Burr & Co. Whether you’re craving a classic flat white, indulging in a full English breakfast, or in the mood for some delicious fries, the menu caters to every whim. And let’s not forget the cocktails – a must-try during their happy hour! The staff at Burr & Co are incredibly friendly, contributing to a relaxing and easy-going experience. The quality of food and beverages is top-notch, all available at a reasonable price point considering its prime location. It’s a place where music gently fills the background, creating a welcoming environment that’s hard to leave. In summary, Burr & Co is not just a hotel coffeehouse; it’s a delightful retreat in the bustling city of London. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a spot you won’t want to miss.

Awful service. The chips were delicious but their lobster in a brioche bun was not worth it. The atmosphere is lovely. But customer service is awful. I came in and no one greeted us. We didn’t know if we just find a table or if someone will take us to a table. Very confusing. The waiters all look so sad and tired of life. No smile. I asked for something and it was hard to make eye contact with any of the waiters. And 10 minutes later, once someone saw I wanted help, they didn’t even come over and smile and ask what I would like. They just looked at me with a blank face. Just really bad service from start to finish. Such a shame since the restaurant is beautiful and the food is lovely. Service is awful.

Yelp
I came when they had an afternoon tea special during London which iwas weird because they sat us in a room no where near a TV so I didn't see the connection. However, the tea afternoon was delightful and I was glad to have tried it. The "afternoon tea" was an assortment of pastries and didn't actually include the tea. I did add on an Earl Grey tea which was able to get a few cups out of and the tea itself was strong especially leaving the teabag in. It came with an assortment of pastries with jam and clotted cream. It was a lot of delicious sweets and was enough to share, but I did get my own and enjoyed all of them. I'm not sure if this is something Burr and Co does occasionally, but I found it a great way to enjoy afternoon tea at a reasonable price.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, decent service, decent to good food, and uncomfortable chairs. At times, overloaded with students. This is the cafe inside the Kimpton Fitzroy, itself a pretty swanky hotel, and this has a great, modern, internet cafe vibe. I know it's a college area so there are students everywhere all about and they kind of add to the vibe. Except for the times when the place is so crowded you wonder if I hotel guest can even sneak into study hall to get a coffee. Overall, I've had positive experiences here, but do find the chairs both flimsy and uncomfortable which is perhaps most of the students sit at the one big table with all the padded stools.

Yelp
I was in London for a business trip and stayed at the Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel. Burr & Co. is part of the hotel so if you purchase the breakfast deal, you're allowed to have breakfast at either here or the other restaurant in the hotel. I came almost everyday to grab a coffee to go. Their Americano and lattes were my go to! I did try the following food: - açaí bowl: I am used to a cold acai base with lots of fruit on top. The açaí was room temperature and slices of fruit were scattered across the top. I wouldn't recommend. - Pain au chocolate: similar to a chocolate croissants but very tasty! - Mussels and Shrimp linguine - MUST HAVE, this was so freaking good One thing to note was the service was amazing and that the restaurant/cafe was beautifully decorated! It gave off a modern vibe while maintaining a classic look. I would love to sit here and do work!

Yelp
This is a nice place to sit with your laptop and a coffee and get some work done, though it can be a bit loud. People are chatting, doing group work, and studying together. There's no filter coffee available, but the (very strong) espresso and tea were perfectly fine, and there was a nice selection of bites to eat. Service was a bit slow, so you'll have to not be shy about flagging someone down to take your order or bring you the bill. The restrooms were the nicest I've ever seen in a cafe, which made sense because it's in the Kimpton.

Yelp
Great coworking cafe with high ceilings, upbeat jazz music vibes during the day. Opens around 7:30am because it also serves hotel guests. You can order at the bar area and take open seating in the bar/cafe area, or be seated in the restaurant area (second room) for table service. Everything was tasty and prepared well. Little pots of filter coffee are good for about 2.5 refills on your own. Pastries and cookies or a legit protein or veggie meal are available as well. At night they have essentially a running happy hour special of sharing a pitcher of sangria or other drinks with a few plates of apps that is a good deal for a few friends wanting a chill place to relax and chat without the creepy drunk dude stare vibes.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Read that this place was a good place to grab a bite to eat or a drink and study or do work. However, when my colleague and I asked for a table we were immediately turned away despite several empty seats and other customers studying and working. When I asked if there was a wait time the host said he didn't know and refused again to be friendly or accommodating. When I asked about the empty seats he told us we still couldn't sit. This was horrible, extremely rude customer service. I would not recommend this place at all.

Yelp
Lovely, quaint atmosphere with beautiful, classy décor. They do not do flavorings in their drinks.

Yelp
I stayed at the Kimpton hotel attached so I popped by this place 3 times during my stay (easily accessible from hotel lobby). Prices are extremely reasonable for London and I found the staff to be super friendly. Breakfast--I had cold brew coffee and yogurt with granola. ---so good! Dinner. Dropped by after a long day at the office. Had the apple parsnip soup which was excellent as well as the citrus cured salmon which was good as well. Reasonable prices. Great atmosphere and friendly service. I'll be back!

Yelp
Very average cup of coffee for £3, little subtleties in coffee flavour. They have a nice ambience. However, the ordering system is chaotic.

Yelp
Omg. How long do I have to sit at this bar until I get acknowledged ? Forever, apparently.

Yelp
The coffee is top notch at this cute and hipster cafe. Exposed wood with a Georgian feel, everything about this cafe is classy and curated. The pastries look incredible but I enjoyed a couple of morning flat whites for breakfast. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Had an oat milk latte and my husband had the chai (and let me tell you, he is very particular with his chai lattes). Both were thoroughly enjoyed! The ambience was nice, and the food looked delicious- we would definitely come back.
