I went to an outdoor concert here. Beautiful area, acceptable bathrooms, and enough space to not feel crowded. That said, we ended up sitting among some of the worst people who talked loudly, and nonstop the entire time. I'll probably come back to the park for a picnic if I'm in the area, but the concert was a nightmare. Again, wonderful artist, great venue, just an all out terrible audience.

What a cool park. The marina, the trees, ducks, geese, and squirrels running around. I attended a baby shower inside the hall. What a great space. Make sure you pay for parking, they to avoid the tickets. Plenty of police are keeping an eye out. 2e felt safe walking back to our cars in the evening.

Very peaceful area with great views of the marina and the local wildlife. They have plenty of public grills, just found it odd that they were all under a roof (?). The sea lions are sure to be a hit with the kids. There are some homeless but very minimal compared to other areas.

Saw Corinne Bailey Rae at a free concert sponsored by LA County Beaches. Has hills and nice views of the marina.

My friends and I enjoyed a lovely movie night in the park. We had snacks, wrapped up in blankets because it could get quite chilly in the evenings. Now they are doing the summer concert series. If you want to do something different, check out Burton Chase Park. The water taxis are running if you want to come over without your vehicle. Borton Trans Park has a nice atmosphere, and I recently discovered they have live music every Saturday at 7 p.m. It’s nothing extraordinary, but I enjoyed that touch. However, it was extremely crowded and loud — I was hoping for a more peaceful, sunny vibe. Also, keep in mind there’s no beach access, so you can’t walk along the shore. A decent spot, but not quite what I expected.

Wonderful park! This park is really great, from location to maintenance to events it always does a great job. The views and atmosphere is spectacular. The sea lions are hilarious and fun to watch. Just walking through or having a BBQ and picnic, we always enjoy our time here.
