Cracking local Train Station which is clean & tidy adopted by Burton Rotary Club.
Railway staff are always brilliant, super helpful, friendly & professional, especially Stephen who gives wealth of information on the Information desk.
Unfortunately only a vending machine on the platform & small shop for limited provisions on the car park.

This was a great station for both arrival and departure, with well-sized platforms for the long distance services! The waiting room is spacious and well lit, signs help navigate out for visitors and the ticket office is staffed reliably even at the weekend. Departure boards are up to date, cleanliness was maintained and the blue colours are nice in the station although the section underneath the bridge feels a bit too much on the grey side.

Burton train station even thow its had a refurb in the couple of years still a boring looking station, has a couple of the hints of the old station that used too be there till it was demolished to make way for the unimaginable station that sits here now,
The ticket is manned during the day and you have tickets machines aswell
Sadly trains are very expensive now a days,
Could be better very bland station compared to others
Sadly removing the parking to make way for the taxi parking I think was a mistake.

Staff are absolutely fantastic here. My Mum recently had a fall in the platform and Steven the station supervisor at the time helped us to get my Mum up off the floor and upstairs so I could rush her off to A&E. The guys went above and beyond to help me get my Mum back home on the train 2 weeks later and I can not thank them all enough for this kindness. It helped my Mum to relax and enjoy her journey home knowing she was looked after. A million Thank yous to Steven and EMR staff.

Burton like many towns has had much better days.
I tend not to visit this place for any shopping trips which I very occasionally make.
There are an equal amount of banks, building societies and charity stores to the number of shops.
Again it reflects the changing societal shopping changes to on line purchasing.

Not bad. The station is underneath the road. So lots of Victorian metal work and riveting
