I was really impressed with the food and service here. Hadn't been to the area in a while. We had brunch and it didn't disappoint! The blt was amazing! Lots of sweet juicy bacon with a hint of spice. Delicious 😋 The French toast dish looked unbelievable! I was told it was fantastic. Will visit again!

This was our 3rd visit to Burtons for brunch and we have never been disappointed. We go with friends so our group is often 6-8 people. We enjoy the brunch cocktail menu and our favorite starter to share is the bag of 'mini donuts'. The service staff is always friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food has always been good. We've had the eggs benedict, steak and eggs, short rib grilled cheese, risotto, poke bowl, and the burger. Still plenty on the menu for us to try!

This spot is a delightful choice for brunch, offering an extensive menu with something for every palate. The attentive and friendly staff goes above and beyond to ensure every dining experience is seamless, quickly correcting even the slightest missteps. I highly recommend the General Tso Cauliflower—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly executed. The Parmesan Truffle Fries were an unexpectedly delicious side paired with my California Chicken Sandwich, adding a tasty twist to the meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, filled with ample natural light that creates a genuinely pleasant ambiance. Overall, it's an excellent destination for brunch—relaxed, delicious, and thoughtfully served.

Went for steaks for the first time and they were delicious!! Perfectly cooked. Everything else was great too. Only gave a 4 for service as it was a bit slow, but pleasant and very friendly. We just waited a while between apps and ordering dinner, then dinner took a second but worth the wait!! We’ll be back!

Though it has been open for a while, I just discovered it in October of '25. I have been there a few times since, always choosing to sit at the bar which never disappoints. The bar has a pleasant, energetic and welcoming vibe. All of the bartenders are solid. Last night, Olivia and Nafisa were friendly, attentive and efficient. The cocktails and food are excellent. I usually get the appetizers. All are delicious. I especially like the Signature Wings, Cheesesteak Spring Rolls and the Firecracker Shrimp. Also, the Homemade Key Lime Pie is among the best I've ever had. Another splendid visit! I look forward to returning soon!

This place is my number 1 favorite. I had the best NY Strip ever and the potatoes, mm mm exquisitely delicious and the broccoli was seasoned so good I couldn’t help but feel like I was dreaming..lol. Yes it was all that!!! The waiter was very attentive and reassuring that my first experience would last forever. I absolutely love it here the atmosphere is very inviting and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is willing to have the same experience as me.

Had brunch here. A little expensive for brunch. $$$1/2 out of 5. First off server was kind professional. Food was pretty darn good. Lots of people were in and out. 3 dishes today Riley strips, steak and eggs and chicken and waffles. Food was pleasantly tasty. Chocolate cake, cheesecake and key lime pie all slices were okay. Just the price was a bit high for me.

We stumbled upon this place one late summer evening and we're so glad we did. What's looks like a traditional modern American restaurant on the outside, has a surprisingly large selection of dishes inspired by other cuisines. Needles to say, we loved everything we had, but the general tso cauliflowers were a hit! The service is also amazing. Highly recommend this place and cannot wait to go back and bring some friends with us.

Looking for a variety of delicious Gluten Free entrees? Burtons Grill and Bar does a fantastic job of providing loads of choices for people with gluten allergies. They have salads, meals, and appetizers all marked plainly GF or GFV, which means they have a Gluten Free Version available. That makes it so easy for people with gluten free allergies to get tasty meals. Service was great! Our waitress was exceptional and had a great sense of humor. It did take a little while to get our meals, but when you have to take extra precautions for allergies, that is understandable. We ordered the burger, which was huge and well cooked. It was delicious. So, were the fries that accompanied our order. They were hot and crispy. The restaurant itself has dark wood and a modern aesthetic. It was clean and comfortable. We both enjoyed our meals and will be sure to return again soon.

We decided to try Burton's on a Saturday evening with no reservations. We were told we would be sat in 15-20 minutes. We ended up waiting closer to 30 minutes and weren't sat until we started waiting inside. It was super hectic night it seemed with a lot of larger parties coming in. We were greeted 5 minutes after seating. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Now the food - it's not bad but I expect more for the price point. Our calamari for appetizers was LEAKING oil. They had no flavor and not even a wedge of lemon. My lobster roll and sweet potatoes fries weren't a disappointment. The Mac and cheese was pretty bland. The food just wasn't that good. THOUGH - the drinks ARE! I am not complaining about the drinks.

We went for lunch on a Monday so it wasn't too busy and had amble seating. Very family friendly ambiance and natural lit from the windows. They had a lunch special where you can pick 2 items from their list of soup, salad, and sandwiches which was great value and a good lunch size if you're not too hungry. We got their she-crab soup which was very creamy and had lumps of crab meat in it. We also got the chicken picatta and short rib grilled cheese. Both were great and had generous amount of meat. The server came to check in on us very frequently as well and seemed very knowledgeable on the menu. Great casual lunch spot!

Burton's is new to Kentlands and the decor (and high high ceilings) are on point. HH at Burton's was decent. I got chips and guac and their $6 mix drink (which was just your choice of alcohol over juice/soda). They didn't skimp on the guacamole (you can't tell in the photos cause it's covered by chips) or Tito's, so thank you. Minus' for me were the service and the thick tortilla chips and bland-ish guac. Despite the latter, I would still come back and give it another shot

Shout out to the manager, Shelly, for going above and beyond with exceptional service. There were a number of mistakes with our takeout order and she took it upon herself to remake the order and deliver it. I'm blown away by Shelly's kindness and generosity. It made our day. We've had a tough week involving a number of doctor's appointments for our baby and we were looking forward to a nice meal. We will definitely order again and hopefully be back in person when out of the newborn phase! Keep doing what you're doing!

Love the length and variety of the Gluten Free menu! Had a late lunch here last month. The she-crab soup blew my mind because it was so delicious, and it was served good and hot. The burger was cooked perfectly (medium rare, as requested) and was very flavorful (even the bun was good, which isn't always true for GF bread products). Truffle fries were yummy. The Mediterranean Chicken Risotto was good (it could have used more artichoke) and the serving was generous. We ordered the fish sandwich and lava cake to go (a dinner). They were both very delicious! Service was a little slow but friendly (i think they might have been short-staffed).

Great service and ambiance with a high top ceiling, Burton's grill does everything right in the that department. As for the food, every food option was great but nothing really truly excelled in my honest opinion. Lobster, scallops, and risotto were all a bit overcooked and chewy if I'm being picky. The calamari was fresh and crispy. The salad was one of the freshest I've had. All in all, a solid well rounded establishment for American seafood.

We came and tried the brunch, which was great overall. I loved the crab cake Benedict and short rib hash. Highly recommend the cucumber mint mimosas, such a refreshing summer drink. Friendly and fast service, casual and relaxing ambiance.

Friendly staff and very attentive waiter, really good menu and a great variety of types of food. I got the fish sandwich and it was the best fish sandwich and sweet potato fries I've ever had. Very good quality too!

I have eaten at this location, many times in the dining area and in the bar, happy hour and brunch service can be challenging in this location and I say this for someone who dines in the DC and downtown Bethesda area. I am used to the waiters knowing how to hustle .The happy hour bar is never busy, but the service is very slow. I overheard the bartender mentioning how upset she was that a client was being very impatient, but the truth is the service is very slow. I ordered the service bread to go and it took an hour to receive it. I was there for a total of three hours. It shouldn't take 3 hours to order two drinks and two appetizers and the service bread to go. At this point, they were now two bartenders when I ordered to go. I paid and was waiting for my carry out. When I saw the time, I asked the bartender about my order, it didn't look like it was ready or at the bar so I literally got up in 5 mins to leave the bread, as I was leaving, she caught me and handed it to me. I will still go there, but I will not order to go so I can get in and out.

We went to Burton's awhile back when they first opened. The food and drinks were very good and the staff was very friendly. There was an issue with the kitchen and we waited 40 minutes between appetizers and entrees. The staff gave us free drinks and did their best to keep us happy. I did not write a review at that time, because they really did try their best. I chalked it up to it being a new restaurant. We just went back there for lunch. Excellent all around. The food here is very good. The staff is friendly and work hard. There was another lag between the appetizers and entrees but nothing too terrible. Their prices are a bit high, but overall a great place. My main issue is the interior. I have seen a few comments on here praising the design. I am not impressed. For the location, menu and prices, the interior should be several notches above. The finishes and overall look do not reflect what this place could be. Its hard to pay that kind of money in a very basic, boring looking place. There is no vibe or charm to it at all. This has nothing to do with the staff, but it needs to be said. I wished they thought about the overall design a bit more. Good, solid establishment with a great menu and staff. Will definitely start coming as a regular.

This has become a little favorite spot of mine. I like the MAXX burger and the home cut fries. The food is always fresh and service is great as well.

I have been to Burtons many times and really enjoyed my meal. I went for brunch and n ordered an egg dish that was chewy and over cooked. We mentioned it to the waiter and soon the manager showed up. She sincerely apologized and gave us a generous discount.Now that is customer service at its best. I'll be back soon,

I'm glad that I made a reservation at Burton's Grill because it was quite packed for a Monday night. After being seated at the table, a server informed me about the specials (including the lobster bisque, lobster roll, and scallops) and that the kitchen was backed up, so it's encouraged to place my order soon. I started with a Caesar Salad with anchovies. The Caesar Salad consisted of chopped romaine lettuce, croutons, and parmesan in a lemony creamy caesar dressing. My server raved about the Mediterranean Chicken Risotto, so I had to try it. It consisted of risotto cooked with artichoke hearts, grape tomatoes, spinach, and feta and finished with lemon butter and pesto. I liked how it was lighter than all the risotto I've had.

Came here entirely on a whim and we were very pleased with our meal overall. Loved that they asked about our preferences right away in terms of diet -- they can accommodate most diners which is so so nice to see. Matt was our server and he was lovely -- attentive but never pushy. Blueberry hibiscus and the Negroni are both recommended from the cocktail list. Get the bread; it comes nice and hot with garlic butter and pesto. I got the veggie burger and while the burger patty tastes homemade the bun to burger ratio is off totally because the burger spills out over the sides. Fries are delicious too, nice and crisp but not burnt. Id get it again. The Mac and cheese is WOW. The crispy top is actually crisp, the cheese is cheesing, the macaroni isn't mush. It's fab. My husband got the lobster and shrimp gnocchi. The portion looks smaller than expected BUT it will fill you up. Don't let the initial portion size deceive. Good seafood to gnocchi ratio but gnocchi could be softer. Sauce is light almost like a primavera style so if you prefer loads of sauce this isn't the dish for you. There's something for everyone here so it seems like a good place to take a group. We'll be back!

We were traveling from out of town (Midwest) visiting family in the area. We heard good things about the food and service and it was my parents in laws fifth time there, and we were very excited. Overall the food was very good and the staff overall was friendly, BUT our specific server Vinny was not good and to be honest he really left a sour taste in our mouth after our experience. There were several strange things Vinny did and he had this stand off ish attitude the whole time. Vinny didn't let us order a cocktail we wanted: One person in our party ordered a cocktail and Vinny told us adamantly not to get this cocktail telling us, "this cocktail is no good, everyone sends it back don't get it" and he was then annoyed when we couldn't immediately pick another cocktail on the spot. We weren't hesitant about this cocktail, we didn't ask for his recommendations, and we've actually tried it before and liked it, but Vinny really did not want us to order this cocktail. We ended up not ordering any cocktail. Vinny forced us to make subs on our entree: We ordered the salmon (comes with fingerling potatoes and asparagus as part of the dish) and a separate side of fries. Vinny then asked me for what 2 sides I want. I was confused because the menu did not say anything about the salmon coming with sides and I ordered fries already. I asked for clarification (and I asked nicely), "does this salmon come with 2 extra sides or am I 'subbing' the listed fingerling potatoes and asparagus for 2 other sides?" I was also confused because fingerling potatoes was not listed under "sides" on the menu, so I think the potatoes and asparagus are just part of the dish. I was also confused because we already ordered a side of fries, so does this not count as a side? I only asked the one question but he seemed annoyed and was answering curtly without really explaining - "yes" "look at the sides". So we ended up making our 2 "sides" the fries and asparagus. Vinny forgot our fries: He claims the kitchen was late with them but after we finished our meal and were going to leave soon, we noticed we never got our fries. We asked him about our fries and he came back with them immediately and said he doesn't know what happened and the kitchen must have been late with them. "I rang it I don't know why they didn't come out." The fries were obviously under a heat lamp for a long time because the fries were soggy and the plate was very very hot. Vinny ended up charging us twice for the above fries: When we got our bill at the end of the meal, the fries were listed both as a side under the salmon and also as another side so we were charged for an extra $10. He didn't catch this but thankfully he fixed it when I asked him. He was nice about this when I asked him. Vinny messed up our chicken wings order: We ordered the chicken wings (maple sriracha) and asked for ranch and blue cheese. He ended up bringing out half maple sriracha wings and half dry rub wings with only ranch and no blue cheese. I didn't make a fuss about messing up the wings, but I just asked politely if we can also have blue cheese. He immediately said with an attitude, "You didn't order blue cheese. But okay I'll bring it. You should've told me." We told him we did order both and he just walked away. Vinny gave us attitude when we asked for water: This is a small thing but captures his attitude throughout our meal there. We did not have water for awhile, we noticed every table had a carafe of water, he took our carafe of water and never returned another one, and he had not stopped by for awhile. So when he was close by we wanted to ask for water, and we started to ask and he just interrupted us saying, "you need water?" And started walking away. We just wanted to clarify and asked for a carafe for the table and he said with an attitude, "okay! I'm getting it!" With a pissed look on his face. This was the general mood of our whole time there. He never really let us finish our sentences and kept cutting us off. When he took our orders he had awkward long pauses between peoples orders (maybe he was new to the system?) and when someone tried to say something he would say, "ok! Hold on!" In total we asked for new cups at the start of the meal (2 of 4 were visibly dirty), a carafe of water, blue cheese dressing, our fries that never came, and to fix the check for the extra charge of fries. We tried very hard to be nice. I'm from the Midwest and I always treat staff with respect and kindness. And we were just thrown off by his attitude. I would come back again because the restaurant is cute, the food is good, and the rest of the staff we met was friendly and professional. But I would specifically ask for another server if we got Vinny again.

Tried this restaurant with my mom for a quick bite and some drinks. Ordered 2 vodka lemonades and both glasses came out dirty with food caked on them. Ordered burgers, mine medium. Came out well done, and both were dry. Cold mashed potatoes. Extremely slow service. Took 15 minutes for the waitress to come back after I had mentioned the food was mediocre, and I actually had to wave her down. Asked for dessert to go and the check and boxes, she came back with only boxes and asked if I wanted the dessert for here or to go. Really poor and slow service, mediocre food, and dirty glasses! The patio was the only nice thing. Editing to add my "blueberry cheesecake"

Not one complaint. Okay maybe 1. Sometimes they took a little long but we had a part of like...17 so it's to be expected. I didn't have much to eat. I had the gluten free bread and dipped it in the green oil- FIRE! Fire as in DELICIOUS! No it looks nothing like the regular bread in the bread basket but the taste and the consistency were GOOD. I had the firecracker shrimp and an old fashioned and both were great as well. The staff was excellent. There was NO fighting over the check. Everybody paid for their own thing and we were happy clams!

This is by far my new favorite place. They have the best happy hour menu in the area. Plus a great lunch menu for $15, half and half. Of half a sandwhich with salad or soup. Portion is large and you can't beet it for the price. My staples were the summer berry salad no longer offered due to fall menu change. The Mediterranean risotto with chicken is out of this world: somehow this dish brings me so much comfort when I am feeling down. On the happy hour the general tsos chicken skewers, chips with guacamole, salmon / beef sliders are all amazing!! They recently changed their menus for the fall. I'm going thru the new options like the chicken maple sandwhich. Reminds you of the turkey sandwhich after thanksgiving. Sooo good. Don't forget the short rib grilled cheese. Omg you feel like you died and are walking in heaven. Drinks are great too. Large selection on happy hour. Don't miss this place out!

The food at Burtons Grill and Bar was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend trying this place if you want to try a fantastic meal. For appetizers we ordered the Firecracker shrimp and spinach and artichoke dip, which both were very good. Then we tried the Summer Berry salad, which had fresh ingredients. After I ordered the halibut with cream sauce, white rice, and green beans, which was very tasty. It was one of their specials off their menu so they don't have this dish all the time. My husband ordered the California chicken for lunch and he enjoyed his sandwich and said he would order it again. The service was prompt and friendly, so we had a nice dining experience. The ambiance is casual, but upscale with the clean and modern decorations. This restaurant is located in the Kentlands with plenty of parking in the lot adjacent to the restaurant.

Came here again to see how consistent this place is. Ordered a few items from the HH menu along with the maxx burger. The salmon sliders are pretty good and worth the $7 HH price (all HH items are the same price). Burger was great too, came out with correct temperature. Pretty flavorful with everything that comes on it, like pickles and onion straws. Would definitely return again.

Love the meal this afternoon. They have a nice happy hour and the pomegranate martini was on point! I treated my mom after her dentist appointment. We shared the chicken skewers appetizer. Mom had the cream of chicken soup and I had the haddock sandwich with a side Caesar salad. The server was pleasant and attentive. The pudding dessert was decadent and delicious. We enjoyed the visit.

We had a very nice anniversary lunch at Burton's. Wasn't crowded for a Sunday afternoon. We were seated and served right away. The sandwiches were really tasty, great crunchy texture, and nice and hot! A little bit pricey, but worth the experience for us. A relaxing, classy spot we will definitely return to for happy hour!

Burton's is off to a fantastic start!! I was cordially greeted at the host stand and promptly seated in a clean, comfortable booth, as I waited for the rest of my party. Pretty soon, our server arrived and she was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She gave us awesome recommendations, and swore that the risotto fritters were a low key hit...and she was right!!! Everything was overall delicious..my friend's ribeye was so succulent..but the appetizer risotto fritters were so good that I ordered another one for my entree. I couldn't finish it, so I took it to-go, and ate it the next day after popping it in my air fryer for a few mins...let's just say..OMG..these are sooo good. I think our experience was closer to 4.5 stars because we had such an amazing server, but I could easily see that this restaurant is still working at their kinks. And even though I didn't order any alcohol, I taste tested my friends' drinks and they were not too great..but at least Burton's have happy hour specials. parking is atrocious btw...so be patient or come early (like happy hour early). Overall, I recommend!!

Overall our table of four were completely happy. Our server exceeded expectations, as well as, management staff. We came in from Chicago to visit our son and we ate out alot. This restaurant was superior to RuthChris Steakhouse in Gaithersburg. We have AllenBrothers shipped to the house and also to our son's home. Tha k you for taking such good care of us.

We came here for a double date night and we were all pleasantly surprised by several things here as this was our first time but certainly not our last: 1. The atmosphere is really inviting, feels upscale yet relaxed/chill. The seating was comfortable and spacious. I can see this spot becoming more popular as time goes on and word gets around. 2. The service from Ashley was excellent as she was kind, attentive, funny and helpful with suggestions. She checked on us frequently and brought out the food surprisingly quickly like within a few minutes of ordering quick! 3. The food was stellar as everything we had we liked and it's made from scratch! I had the crab crusted haddock. My girlfriend had the Bolognese and we got a few appetizers like the firecracker shrimp and the cheese steak spring rolls which were delicious! Our friends got the short rib and the General Tso's cauliflower which was also very good and the vegan burger which was more like a beanie paste less like an impossible Burger. Our drinks were also very good I got a drink that had hard cider in it and had a spiced rim. All in all final verdict this is a very good time and I highly recommend checking it out they even made paying the bill super simple as it has a QR code on the receipt that allows you to pay and just inform your server that you paid and you can walk.

Stopped by for lunch during the week. Great service , calm and spacious outdoor seating and food was great and good portions for lunch.

We came here for the first time as a party. The food was delicious. I had bolognese it was so delicious and gluten free friendly My table got the southwestern salad, salmon entree, and chicken Milanese. Appetizers that I have tried were dry rub wings, fried cauliflower, steak and cheese egg rolls, and fried shrimp with sweet sauce glaze. Everything was delicious The ambiance was welcoming and very clean. We were greeted the minute we walked in. Our server was awesome. Please go try this restaurant and have an outside experience too, they have outdoor seating

Lucky us! Hyatt was our waitress and she is fabulous - friendly, patient, helpful, efficient. So happy she served us for our family's birthday brunch! The brunch was delicious, too. Among us we had eggs Benedict, French toast, Avocado BLT and the egg frittata. (I had the frittata - excellent!) Definitely check out Burton's for brunch!

The most disappointing aspect of my visit was the food. I ordered fish and chips, which came as three small pieces of fish half-buried under a mountain of fries with cole slaw. I poked under the fish hoping there was more fish, but there was none. Compared to the same dish from Dogfish Alehouse (also in Gaithersburg), Burton's fish and chips is decidedly inferior. Dogfish's offering comes with much more fish and a reasonable amount of fries. Our server (Alex) was excellent; he expertly answered my dining companions questions and was attentive during the meal. The ambiance was good. The noise level was acceptable even as the restaurant filled up.

This was the best experience dining out I have ever had as a celiac person. The entire staff is food-allergy certified. My gluten free food was on a different shape plate than those who ordered from the regular menu, so I was assured my food was from the gluten free part of the kitchen. Every single person we interacted with was knowledgeable and helpful regarding making sure my food was safe for me to eat. On top of all of that, it was delicious and the gluten free menu was extensive. I had so many good choices, I was actually a little overwhelmed! It was so great and I will definitely go back.

Our first visit was a late lunch this past Sunday and sat out on the patio in beautiful weather. The service was excellent, and the selection of gluten free items was incredible. We had the best fried calamari we have had since becoming gluten free, the California chicken sandwich (upgraded to sweet potato fries) and the crispy fried fish sandwich. Both were delicious, and they clearly take allergy issues very seriously. From a separate menu, to different shape plates, and dedicated fryer, we felt very comfortable eating there. The Watermelon Dream and Strawberry Paloma were also delicious. We will be going back soon!

I came here recently for happy hour (3-7 p.m.) with a friend. The bar area (where happy hour is served) was full around 5 p.m., so they told us we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table to open up. Thankfully, while we waited outside, someone came out to let us know the manager (thank you!) allowed us to sit in the regular dining area for happy hour. Our server was courteous and attentive, and the food came out fast. We ordered the deviled avocados, salmon sliders, and steak sliders. We really enjoyed the deviled avocados and salmon sliders but thought the steak sliders were a bit dry. I recommend coming here early for their happy hour specials!

This is a from-scratch kitchen that takes food allergies seriously. The service was great. The drinks were really good and all the dishes we tried were great. They confirmed our steaks were cooked correctly. Not a single complaint and will definitely go back.

Came in on a Monday evening for dinner with my family. Our server was very nice and was attentive towards food allergies and intolerances. We got a spinach dip to share- very fresh and light which we actually liked. I got a rice bowl that tasted so flavorful and light and delicious too. The table we sat at was very close to the big glass windows and that made the lighting pleasant and lively. We will be back!

Phenomenal Service and great gluten free options! My son, who has celiacs said this was the best food he's had in years! Highly recommend going here if you have a gluten allergy.

Kentlands in Gaithersburg, MD. It keeps getting better and better on the cuisine side. Plenty of fastie places, BUT when it is time for a great meal and a decent price, yup: Burtons. I love when you enter a place and the hostess (Michelle) gives you that warm greeting that sets the tone for a good time. By the time we sat down, our waitress Michelle was already making us feel so welcome! We looked through the menu and knew it was going to be hard to choose. We started with a firecracker shrimp with a chili sauce that was out of this world. Nice and spicy but not enough to set your mouth on fire. You get six and could literally be a light meal. We also had some calamari that had a few spicy veggies and all good! Now let's get down to my serious stuff! The short ribs, brussels and potatoes were just divine! No knife necessary for these bad boys! Wonderful layers of flavor and tenderness that were mouthwatering. It was a birthday celebration but Michelle brought out a complimentary slice cake but also told us about happy hour and other things to come back for, which we will. Burtons has a new family as dedicated customers. Thank you Michelle for such an awesome experience!

Today was my second time here. The food was great. I had French onion soup, pappardelle bolognese which was good pasta freshly made and General Tso cauliflower was so good. My server was Sophia who was extremely attentive. Living in Germantown where they only fast food places it's nice to know there is a good restaurant near by.

I had the crab crusted haddock and was very tasty and prompt and friendly service. Can't wait to dine there again when in the area.

I had been to Burton's in the past-- but just for lunch. The reason we returned for dinner was because of your gluten-free menu. One of my friends is VERY gluten-intolerant and saw that Burton's was rated highly on an app she monitors. From the warm greeting to the inquiry about allergies and food limitations, the staff impressed us right away. More than that, our server explained that they have literally differently shaped plates for gluten-free dishes. Indeed, square and round plates were delivered to our table by two different servers. They checked back multiple times to be sure we were OK. Apparently, the owners have gluten sensitivities and have worked very hard to make their restaurants welcoming and safe for others with health challenges like theirs. My friend was deliriously happy to enjoy dishes that would normally be suspect. I chose "gluten-free" as a supportive pal and was very happy with my dish. Definitely patronize Burton's if you have ANY food sensitivities or allergies. OR... if you want a convenient, cozy place in the Kentlands neighborhood of Gaithersburg, MD with easy parking, reasonable prices, helpful service, and good food!

Only positive things to say' This restaurants niche is that they're allergy/food preference friendly. They have a Gluten Free menu for those that need that. They described themselves as having a scratch made kitchen with the ability to accommodate your dietary needs. The menu was the perfect size--not overwhelming but just enough so that anyone could find something they'd enjoy. The prices were so reasonable and fair for the quality. It's exactly what any normal person would want to pay for good quality. Some places you're spending 25$ for a burger with cold, stale fries but it's supposed to be an upscale restaurant. The food was great, the ambience was nice--tall ceilings with a lot of natural and pretty light. The bar was large and substantial--the drink menu had some delicious looking options. But, the star of our experience was definitely the amazing service from Neema (hope I'm spelling that correctly), our waitress. She made the experience 10 times better. Now a days it is so hard to find a person who works in service who does their job fully and it's so wonderful about it. She was so helpful in navigating the menu for me as someone who wasn't too hungry and vegetarian. She was lovely to our two kids who are usually very shy but happily bantered with her. Simply, she just did what she was supposed to do with a gorgeous smile on her face! I truly only wish good things for her and know her future is so bright with an attitude like hers. They're lucky to have her apart of their team. I really can't say enough good things about her. Again, it's rare to get someone like that these days. Another plus is that they're 100% kid friendly with their kids menu having lots of options. They allow up to 3 sides, drinks and the entree for only 8.95. Amazing! Our kids loved their food (we did too). The food overall was delicious. Not one complaint. For meat and no meat eater I highly recommend the General Tso's cauliflower. My carnivore husband even loved them. He also loved his maxx burger. My salad was delicious and filling too. I will absolutely come back to try more menu items. I've heard great things about Burton's and really wanted to check out their happy hour. We arrive around 5:30 on a Wednesday evening, and the bar was full. We were seated in the dining area, but they don't offer happy hour options. We asked our waitress about it, and she gladly found us a table in the bar area. They have a pretty good selection of drink options, and cater to whichever mood you might be in, from draft beer to various wine and mixed drink options. Hubs ordered an old fashioned, which he really enjoyed. I went with the red sangria. It was just perfect for what I was craving....perfect combination! Outside of the salmon sliders, none of the food options on the happy hour menu appealed to me. So we ordered entrees from the main menu. Hubs ordered the fish sandwich and I ordered the Maxx burger. The fish sandwich was pretty good. The fried haddock, with picked onions, tarter sauce, and house made pickled were just right. The sweet potato fries were probably some of the best I've had in the area. The burger was okay. The burger itself was juicy, but it kind of lacked flavor. I would have liked to see more sauce on the burger (which I could have asked for. but didn't). The french fries were also good, but the sweet potato ones were my favorite. Our server. Dominique, was amazing! She was efficient, friendly, and super helpful. The restaurant itself is really nice, with a calm, clean, and modern set up. We will definitely stop by again and try some other things on the menu.

Back tonight. We do love this place, and the staff. Everyone has a bad night. Service is spot on and everyone has a bit more hustle tonight. Thanks for a nice evening

We came in on a whim - our actual plans for dinner were already closed. Absolutely glad we did! Music might be loud for some, but we were fine. It's also quieter the further back into the restaurant you get. Drinks, bread set, and dinner salads were all amazing. Of particular note, having the bread come out nice and warm was very nice. It's one of those small comforts that hits just right. They also offer you a second loaf, so be careful if you plan to save room for other foods! The harvest roast salad with blackened chicken was amazing. All of the flavors come together so well, and it's the most tender and juicy chicken I've had in some time! Looking forward to having it for lunch tomorrow! Not only was our server a joy, the rest of the staff bringing and taking things from our table were also a delight. Polite, friendly, and pleasant all around. With a musical playlist that includes All Star by Smash Mouth, what more could you ask for?
