If only terrible trains and train stations in Germany operated as efficiently and punctually as they do here or in Japan…
Busan Station is the main train station in Busan, South Korea, located in the Choryang-dong area of Dong-gu. It is a major transportation hub in the city, serving high-speed KTX, SRT, and regular Korail trains. The station provides convenient access to other parts of South Korea, including Seoul, which is about a 2.5 to 3-hour ride by KTX.
The station is centrally located and easily accessible via Busan Metro Line 1, as well as by buses and taxis. There are various facilities at the station, including restrooms, waiting areas, convenience stores, restaurants, cafes, and ticket counters. Luggage storage is available for travelers who need to leave their bags for a few hours. There is also a tourist information center where visitors can get advice or directions.
For those traveling during peak times or holidays, it is advisable to book tickets in advance, as trains can get fully booked. The station also has signs in both Korean and English, making it easier for international travelers to navigate. Nearby attractions include Yongdusan Park and Jagalchi Fish Market, both of which are a short ride away from the station.
