This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Busan International Film Festival. Held annually from September to October at the Seoul Cinema Center, this is Asia's largest film festival. In particular, in recent years, Korean films have featured a series of world-renowned and leading films such as Bong Joon-ho's Parasite, Netflix's Squid Game, and K-Pop's Demon Hunters, showing Korea's development of culture at the festival. Besides commercial films, there are also theaters where you can see independent films and short films that are not easily seen during normal times. If you like or are interested in movies, I highly recommend it

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the unique Busan Cinema Center, a place dedicated to cinema and film culture. The architectural design of the building is internationally renowned, with its striking, futuristic structure that stands out as an iconic landmark in Busan. Inside, the atmosphere is both immersive and serene. The library provides a quiet retreat where visitors can explore an extensive collection of books and resources related to film and cinematography. Another highlight was seeing the handprints of famous movie stars and filmmakers, which added a special touch to the experience, connecting visitors to the history and legacy of cinema. The center offers a variety of activities, and I felt that my time there was too short to fully appreciate everything it has to offer. On my next visit, I would love to spend more time exploring its exhibitions, screenings, and other interactive experiences.

The building looks really cool and modern with its awesome architecture. It's where they hold the Busan International Film Festival. They have both an outdoor and indoor theater for events, making it a great place for movies and stuff.

Vibrant colours and classy lightings. That's how I will describe this place. And the open air theatre provides an amazing movie watching experience. And it has (the world's largest?) roof on top of it to protect from rain and storms. One of the best open theatres I've been to.

The Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae-gu, Busan, is the hosting venue for the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) and a cultural space for film screenings, performances, and exhibitions. It features the BIFF Theater with nearly 4,000 seats, Cinema I, Cinema II, Cinematheque, Haneulyeon Theater, Indieplus, and a Library. If you're a film enthusiast, this unique and vibrant landmark is a must-visit in the city.

The Busan Cinema Centre is the location for the international film festival which is worthy of a pilgrimage for any diehard cinephile. The complex has a noteworthy design with minimal and tasteful interiors. The highlight is the comprehensive library filled with cinema related books and archives in predominately Korean but some English books available too. You can also listen to records related to films (for example Ryuichi Sakamato’s scores) and actually watch films in comfortable private booths all for free. It’s a prime example of a cultural institution that is presented and organised to benefit members of the community. Well done.

I went to this place to see "Busan Goodnight Concert" where aespa, kwon eunbi, lee chaeyeon, kiss of life, onf, and many other artists performed. It is an outdoor place. I have a great time there

Visited it during the Xmas celebration. Whole area is closed for food festival. Very crowded and the food is just average but the Xmas vibe is great.
