I visited Busan Tower on a Tuesday afternoon around 14:00, and there was no wait at all. It wasn’t a national holiday, just a regular weekday, and there were very few people there. I was able to purchase my ticket quickly at the kiosk, which lets you change the language, and I paid with a credit card without any issues.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained the different zones of the tower and answered any questions I had. One important thing to note is that there’s a café at the top, and you can get a discount if you show your ticket, so make sure you hold onto your ticket the entire time, as you’ll need it upstairs.
The views were really nice, even during the daytime. I can absolutely see why people choose to come here for sunset or nighttime, as the city lights would be beautiful. I came during the day because I wanted a clear view of the area and to get a general sense of the city layout, and for that purpose, it was great. That said, if you’re not used to these kinds of viewpoints or want something a bit more magical, evening or night is probably the best time to visit.
There are also lots of photo opportunities throughout the tower and even once you go back down. There are several cute spots set up specifically for photos. If you’re visiting solo, I’d recommend bringing a small tripod so you can use a timer for pictures.
Overall, it’s definitely worth visiting, especially if it’s your first time in Busan. It’s easy, well organized, and offers great views at any time of day.
