Busbud

I booked my bus ticket from saskatoon to surrey along with insurance for cancellation on October 7, 2025 and I cancelled my ticket on October 8, 2025. As it was stated that we can get full refund either back on my card or bus credits, as per my wish Unfortunately, my plan got cancelled and I had to cancel the ticket. I cancelled it 24 hrs earlier, but when it came to refund, they directly gave me bus credits instead of asking me. It would have been great if money has came back to my card as it can be used more purposely, instead of bus credits. I have attached the refund policy that i saw and purchased the insurance.

Non-existent customer service and no way to talk to anyone about a booking issue. Also unreasonably high prices, confusing currency with using $ sign for both Mexican pesos and US dollars. Book your tickets directly with the bus or shuttle companies. Their up charge is obscene.

DO NOT USE. Go direct to the company you find in their options. Their prices are much higher than buying direct and their customer service is a BOT named Chester. UPDATE: I’m attaching the screenshot of the same bus ride from ADO’s site and a screenshot of BusBud breakdown that they sent me when they read this review. A live person finally replied and they admitted that Chester the Bot sent my initial response where the bot completely failed to identify the issue AND didn’t follow up on my reply explaining. They did refund the entire purchase price of my ticket.

Booked my bus to Whistler, BC through Busbud and had a great experience. The ticket arrived right away by email, included clear directions, and I could even add it to my iPhone Wallet. Super easy to use and the bus company was reliable. Highly recommend.

I booked a ticket from Montreal to NYC. It was incredibly simple and painless. Unfortunately I had to cancel the trip and they were able to refund me the entire thing. 10/10 would recommend.

My experience was absolutely amazing. I was really happy with the prices, the drive out there was so relaxing. I can't wait to do it again to visit my cousin in Kelowna!

It was easy and convenient to book the ticket online with busbud. The driver was very polite and helpful. My journey from Calgary to Surrey was full of scenic views. I would prefer bus over flight for future travel plans as well.

NEVER use Busbud. There’s no point!
They DO NOT provide “e-tickets”, it is a voucher only that you have to swap at a ticket office, but you never know if the ticket office is open! Mine wasn’t. 
Budbud say they are not at fault and 2 weeks later I can’t get a refund. Booking with these guys gives you no assurance of travel.
