Busch Gardens Williamsburg

Had a great time overall. I really enjoyed their meal pass/plan that we were able to get on a discount. Every so often you can get an entree with a dessert or side with a drink. This allowed us to try many of their restaurants. I especially liked the chinese food and the german themed building. We did not realize at the time that there were timed shows that you can watch, so I recommend fitting that in if that is of interest. The rides were fun, but some had long lines.

We had season tickets and a great visit each time. Took the grandkids this summer and they had a blast. Wait lines for rides were not too long. We enjoyed the shows all year long. Park is very clean and decorated beautifully. Christmas decorations were the best. Buy your tickets in advance and this is a cashless park. Food was good and buy the beverage cup if you purchase the season pass.

Definitely my favorite theme park. My girlfriend and I went here for Christmas Town and it was wonderful. The decorations were delightful. The shows were great. Not all the rides were open but there were enough to still have a good time. Sectioning the theme park into different themed countries is a great idea.

I've been going here for over 40 years and it never disappoints. Buy your tickets online. Parking is $40. Christmas Town is magical and whimsacle. Lines weren't too long. The decorations were amazing 😍 Get a souvenir mug with hot chocolate.

This was our first visit to a Bush Gardens and we was very impressed. We went for the Christmas Town event and loved it. A beautiful spectacle of lights and decorations, music and foods to accommodate! Some rides and attractions were open, but again, we went for the aesthetic aspect.

We visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg during the winter, so many of the rides were closed, which was a bit of a downside. The decorations, however, were beautiful as always. The kids still had a great time, and we even visited twice within two months. We watched a show called Gloria, which was wonderful. After walking around outside, it was very relaxing to go inside and enjoy the music—it was a perfect break. The food was a bit on the expensive side, possibly because we didn’t choose a ticket package that included meals. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. This visit was especially meaningful for us because my husband worked at this amusement park about twenty years ago through a Work & Travel program. We found the exact spot from an old photo of his and recreated it, which made the experience even more special for our family.

Magical experience! All the lights and decorations make it super awesome. We were there all day for Thanksgiving. Not terribly busy but I can see how it could get really packed, really fast. You definitely need more than I've day to see everything but I feel like we got our days worth for sure. Be prepared to pay astronomically high prices for even basic stuff like water.

This was my first visit to the Christmas City, and it turned out to be an amazing experience. The ticket price is absolutely worth it, $55 for a full day gives you access to multiple country-themed areas, cultural exhibits, theaters, free rides, and beautiful light shows. To truly enjoy everything the city has to offer, it’s best to arrive early when the park opens; visiting later in the evening may mean missing attractions like the birds and wolves. That said, the city’s decor, talented performers, diverse cultures, and delicious food make it a truly memorable experience.

We weren't sure if we could spend a whole day here but we absolutely did! We came for the Christmas Town on a Saturday, so we got here right when it opened at noon and left when it closed at 10 pm and we still missed some things to do. Tickets were reasonable (we paid around $215 for 2 people including all-day-dining) and parking was an additional fee and it was WELL worth it. We did 2 roller coasters, 3-4 shows, got 3 full meals each, the train, a game or two, and all in all had a great time. We were really impressed with the caliber of the shows, the ice skaters definitely seem like they're professionals. The Christmas decorations were absolutely beautiful and put us in the Christmas spirit. I don't know why this is the first time we've been here since we've lived in the DC area for around 7 years but we absolutely will be back!

Christmas Town 2025! Boy is Christmas the greatest time of year or what! This place was absolutely beautiful and obviously riding rides in the dark with lights around is a special experience. So on the terms of beauty of the scenery and the fun of the attractions this place excels. Now food and drinks are always expensive so can't knock it too much but it always seems to get pricier so that does stop this place from being more than 4 stars. Lastly the staff were mostly super helpful and kind but there were some occasions of those on rides hassling us about what we had on making us remove neckwarmers on one occasion even though no other ride had made us and not helping when it was stolen after just one ride. So overall service was good because on most occasions we had no issues. Overall it was a fun trip and would come again, just hope prices don't keep rising forever :) and would like more consistency in service amongst attractions

Busch Gardens is such a beautiful park year-round, but there's something extra special about visiting during Howl-O-Scream! I've always loved the park's layout, and how each section represents a different country. It reminds me of Epcot. We came for Howl-O-Scream on a Friday evening and were surprised by how smooth everything went. We got to the park around 5 PM with little to no traffic getting in, which was honestly shocking considering it's spooky season? Parking is $35, but they do offer memberships that include free parking and other perks. Definitely worth looking into if you plan to visit more than once because it pays off in two visits. At 6 PM, the whole park transformed into a haunted playground. It was such a cool transition to witness. The fog, the music, the decor, incredible. Throughout the night, scare actors walked the paths, popping out from behind corners and keeping everyone on edge. For someone who doesn't get very scared, I sure did jump a ton. There were several haunted walkthroughs scattered throughout the park, each with its own theme. We did the "Bloodshot"that's located inside Pompeii (so cool), and "Werewolves: The Wolf's Revenge", which was tucked away in the trees. So much fun. We saw the "Monster Stomp" show as well. This was hands down my favorite part of the evening. The talent was unreal. Ride lines were surprisingly short. I finally got to ride Pantheon for the first time and absolutely loved it. Easily one of the best coasters in Virginia. Apollo's Chariot still holds up as a close second for me. Between rides and scares, we stopped by the Festhaus in Germany, which is always a great spot for food, drinks, and live entertainment. One of the coolest discoveries of the night was a hidden speakeasy tucked away inside the park, but I won't tell you where! They served themed cocktails and beer. It was the perfect quiet escape from all the chaos outside. The park was clean, the staff were friendly, and the overall experience was fantastic. Can't wait to come back. Whether it's for the next festival, a summer visit, or another round of Halloween fun!

Busch gardens is always a great time for the holidays, especially when they are doing their Christmas town. The shows were amazing and they had such great talented staff. I knocked off a star for some mishaps that could easily be avoided. We were directed to the wrong parking area compared to what we paid for, but luckily we noticed ourselves and told the attendant and he re-directed us correctly. We also couldn't get hot cocoa because despite the shop being open they said they weren't actually ready upon opening. Some food places also opened later than their advertised time. This is disappointing considering we time when to get food/drinks around the show schedules. Despite this, the park is still enjoyable to get into the holiday spirit.

Busch gardens is so much fun! I felt like a kid again. I went as a guest with some friends. Since it's spooky season howl-of-screams was happening which added a festive touch. I rode roller coasters for the first time in years and had a blast. The funnel cake was delicious and I had some refreshing Rita's. Can't wait to go back again.

what a rip off. went to christmas town. no christmas spirit. staff were rude and disrespectful. long lines. small park area. maybe 3 rides were open. didn't use full meal package because lines too long. food overpriced $26 for 2 pieces of ribs for ex. cost $60 each enter, $30 meal pkg, $40 park and $65 for sweatshirt. ridiculous. not worth the costs. dining eating ares filthy. no one cleaning. freezing out. no one selling hot chocolate or hot cider. no clear directional signs. had to pay $5 for a map. show times not posted. they can do better.

A virginia institution! And its age is showing ! Love the idea of Christmas town! The entertainment was excellent ! Security good ! Parking is disastrous ! We parked in Germany 24 ! My wife has serious issues walking! It became so what dangerous on the way back ! The tram was trying to make light of the situation ! They closed that tram station down because of the bridge ! Still it's an issue! I certainly didn't feel helped. ! I noticed that this place has lost some of its glamour ! The bbq was good! The staff serving the food was rude! The check out was good!

I was visit a friend in Norfolk and I have a Platinum pass for Seaworld so we grab a free military ticket for him a couple of discounted all-day dining passes. The location is awesome. There are so many trees that it kept the park comfortable all day for us. ** Dining ** ** Coasters ** ** Staff ** ** Fireworks ** It was so easy to get in and out of the parking area. We will be coming back in the future to spend a couple of leisurely days.

Service has definitely gone down. Pre purchased my parking but the bar code did not work so I had to pay again when I came in. Then there was no way to get to the disabled parking area. I brought my dad with me and we had a parking placard but the parking lot attendant directed us to general parking. Then when we got to the entrance and only 2 of the then self check out kiosks were operating. No real life people so I had to go to guest services. Line there was long so it took forever just to get in. Very frustrating. Once in the park it was ok but they really need to improve the entry procedures.

Busch Gardens is a family favorite that always makes for a wonderful day. I am thankful that it now stays open mostly year round as it's the perfect place to spend our weekends as a local. The membership passes are the way to go for us. You get your moneys worth and then some!

My family and I decided to play hooky in May, the week before school got out. That's mainly relevant because apparently a lot of their staff will be high school kids, so while they are still in school, they generally only have 2 people max working in places... Like in the food places, one person rings up while one dishes food. It tragically makes the line go really slow, which sucks when you are waiting for things like Rita's shaved ice on a hot day. Or there will be one person working two carnival games, so you have to stand around waiting for him to come back if your kiddo wants to play a game before you leave. Some of the food is good, and some is super disappointing and not at all worth the price. The kids opted for bacon cheese fries for lunch and it was literally room temperature fries from a warming tray, and cold shredded cheese. No melting was involved, so it was just sort of bland and weird. They also don't have lids for anything, so if you leave your husband and kids outside while you grab food, it is really difficult to carry your $6 fountain soda without spilling if you have more than one, or food too. They really want you to purchase the specialty cups with lids apparently. They also only have about three water bottle filling stations, but the alternative is wait in a huge line to get a drink that they pour. We didn't see any self-serve drink dispensers like they have at SeaWorld. They do have a really great program if you have disabilities, like if your kiddos are on the spectrum like mine. There is no way they can stand for 50 minutes, crushed in by people on all sides waiting in the line, so they sign off on this paper you carry around and you get to come back in 50 minutes. They never would have been able to ride any of the more popular rides without it, so it was really great that they got to go sit down in the shade and eat shaved ice while waiting their turn. The app is somewhat helpful, but it isn't super convenient to walk around with your phone up all day, so I do wish the rides themselves were a little more helpful. Like some of the rides list the MINIMUM height, but not the maximum height if it is a kiddie right. Seems like something that would be posted on the sign before you wait in the line? And maybe list a little bit more of what the ride consists for of before you get on. Does it contain upside downtime, sideways riding, etc. It seems that they just kind of take for granted that people already know what each coaster and stuff consists of, which can be pretty nerve wracking if it is your first time visiting. The parking is a bit on the expensive side, and the handicapped parking was unmarked how to get there. Overall, I'm not sure if this place merits a return trip. It was okay, but rather expensive and underwhelming in my opinion.

Beautiful park--clean, beautifully decorated, and almost Halloween-ready! The coasters are incredible--smooth, fast, and full of thrilling drops (even the wooden one was smooth!). The dark rides kept us on our toes with awesome surprises. We grabbed the all-day dining pass, which was such a win--good food every 90 minutes! Plenty of parking, short lines (never more than 30 mins!), and nonstop fun. A fantastic park for thrill-seekers and families alike!

I had a blast after visiting since childhood. I enjoyed each ride. I also enjoyed the shaded areas. I was also excited to enjoy Rita's Italian Ice. The wait times were not extensive, and I picked a slow day to visit. I was not happy that a few rides were closed due to maintenance. However, I recommended this park. It was clean, friendly, and fun. There was ample parking available for all vehicles. However, the bathrooms need to be remodeled. I would have also liked a different variety of shows and restaurants. Overall, I will return again. The highlight of my trip was riding the Pantheon, Apollos, Tempesto, and Griffon Rollercoasters. I was lit for sure!

THE BEST THEME PARK EVER!! The rides are fun and thrilling and plus animals to see and lots of fun and so many kinds of food to eat and plus you get unlimited free drinks when you buy an bush gardens cup and the rides are super awesome and they have best themes for all holidays and i appreciate all hard work the staff does at bush gardens I been coming here for years absolutely remarkable place and theme park and so awesome. The food is very expensive and definitely become a member you can get discounts and etc and staff and the train is so much fun and plus the different countries are so cool and wonderful definitely come extremely early to get good parking and etc and make sure you go home early if you have kiddos or toddlers or babies parents and keep close eye on all ur kids and teenagers. Give the staff extra tips and credit for all their hard work they work externally hard 7 days week from early morning until they close and be patient and respectful and smile and say thank you to all of them and the staff decorates all park all holidays it is OUTSTANDING GORGEOUS!!! I love coming here so much I wish they would add more rides and more new items of food etc plus water parks at their water park every few years. HAPPY FALL EVERYONE!! From Lauren

The lines for the rides weren't as long as I expected. Unsurprisingly, prices are high inside. Food is certainly edible but nothing to write home about. The reusable cups for fountain drinks don't make sense for people who don't drink soda, so I bought an over-priced disposable bottle of water and refilled it at water fountains throughout the park and just told myself the microplastics add to the mouthfeel of the water. Docked a star for some rides being not functional and the insanely long lines at the smokehouse restaurant.

It never fails. I arrive at the front of the line for Verbolten, one of many high speed roller coasters in the park, and i start to get anxious and wonder why the hell do I do this to myself. Then after an approximate one minute ride of hills, turns, and unexpected drops, I find myself wanting to get in line again! BG has 7 major roller coasters as well as several other thrill rides that do not ddisappoint. There are other rides as well to fit everyone's preference from the train to a kid friendly section in Sesame's Forest of Fun. I grew up in Virginia and went to college nearby. I even worked at Busch Gardens my junior year but this review is NOT biased at all!! I took this beautiful, exciting and entertaining park for granted all those years! After visiting the Busch Gardens Tampa several times, it is not nearly as great as this one. It's no wonder why this park has been voted America's most beautiful theme park. It is well decorated with colorful flowers and trees creating good shade for those hot summer visits. It represents 5 countries of Europe and does not diappoint with the food representations of Germany, France, Italy, New France, England, and Germany. My favorite is the beef cannelloni in Italy and the Irish stew in Ireland; not your typical pizza, burgers, and hot dogs found in other theme parks. And of course, the beer! Prost! Other than the rides, the entertainment is fantastic. You can see shows varying from Celtic dancers to a celebratory audience involved song and dance in Germany's festhaust. There is something for everyone. My only complaint is the longggg line and tram ride to the parking lot which seems to be located in Mongolia. I hope to be back for the return of the beloved Big Bad Wolf in 2025!!

We have attended Busch Gardens Hallo-Scream multiple in past years. I'm not much of a ride rider but I really appreciate all the decorations they do for the holiday. That's why I was so surprised this year at how mediocre the park was. They used to have decorations like a full size horse drawn hearse. They've gone from that to what appear to be store-bought Halloween decorations that you would have at your house. I suppose it wouldn't have been as bad except that we know how great it's been in the past. The park is still clean and well kept but it is now just like any other theme park. There's nothing to differentiate it from a dozen others. If you're into rides, I suppose is still your place. But for those of us who go for the experience, Busch Gardens has completely thrown that advantage away.

We went back after 2 years and nothing much has changed much, but had a fun time and went for 2 full days and wanted to do more. We did finally do the boat tour which is a 15 minute boat tour of the lake where they take you 7.5 minutes and then head back. Then, they had a new ride the big bad wolf which is a fun family ride, but hidden in the back of Festhaus. We did not watch much entertainment either. If you want to ride all of the rides, best day to go is a Friday as it was not too busy as the most we waited was for 45 minutes that is for the Darkoaster which I have a blast riding on. Some rides do require you to have no phones in the pocket even there is a zipper so they make you put it in the small cage which is not too bad, like Panthereon. Panthereon is my favorite ride, but this ride does break down quite a bit. I remember I got a VIP ride on this and it then broke down after I rode it. I do like Le Scot too and Roman Rapids, but the water rides do open at 11am to 8pm. I do like Roman Rapids and got to ride this finally, you do get soaked as there are mini water falls at the end. This park has a lot of different variety of rides for the family, thrill and water rides which I enjoy. My wife and I did the all you can eat pass for $52 dollars for 2 days and we were trying to get as much meals as we can, so we were eating every 90 minutes and were stuffed and in pain just so we can get our money's worth. We tried all the food that was available in the pass except for the burgers in London. But the all you can eat dining pass comes with a drink and a snack as well. Definitely worth the price to get especially if each meals costs $30 dollars if bought individually. I would recommend getting the BBQ at the Canada. The only thing I do not like about United Parks is when you meet the mascots the employees won't take a picture on your camera, but only take pictures if you get a photo key.

Our first time visiting Williamsburg and we had to go to Busch gardens. Truly a beautiful park with endless things to eat, see, and do! We enjoyed bites in Ireland, Poland, France, and Germany, we saw wolves, eagles, and other birds in an aviary enclosure, we met Dakota the beautiful Clydesdale, and we rode the most exciting rides. We went in the morning on a Friday and the line to get in was VERY big. When we left later in the afternoon around 2pm there was no line, so definitely consider coming later if you don't want to deal with the initial crowd. However, inside the park it doesn't feel "crowded." The lines for some rides are longer, which is understandable. We're low thrill people so we chose the calmer rides which did not have a long wait - maybe 5-10 minutes max! The staff are super friendly and the park facilities are very clean. 100/10 will definitely come back!

Great coasters and Food & Wine Festival! Summer can be hot, but the park has lots of shade. Best cooling spot is in the Fest Haus!

Busch Gardens is super clean, with great theming (except for Pantheon), and a great lineup of top class (exciting and original coasters). Food is expensive, but every park is, however portions were decent and in most cases we could split a meal. It was $35 to park, which is a lot, but again you are in a theme park. I really enjoyed Pantheon, Apollo's Chariot, Griffin, and Verbolton. Hoping to get on Alpengeist next time around.

I enjoyed our visit. Nice themed places to visit and food tasting. The rides were also fun. Definitely recommended when in Williamsburg.

Was excited to visit this park as I had been a pass holder for BG Tampa. Basic parking is $34! And you can purchase ahead of time or at the gate, cash only. This is a cashless park, so leave it at home! Finding a spot and entering the park were quick and easy, as it was midweek and school had just begun. While the park is beautiful, some parts can be challenging to walk for some especially if you're using a stroller or an EVD. There are lots of stairs and hills throughout the park. Was disappointed to see so many of the rides, shows and dining places were closed. It's still August and this is a town highly dependent on tourism, I wish all the offerings were available. I was able to book the Clydesdales & Collies behind the scenes tour which I do recommend, especially if you're a horse lover. You get up close with one of the parks Clydesdales, you learn a bit about their diet & habits as well and get to meet one. They introduce you to the parks border collies and they get to show off their herding skills, it was a really nice experience. To close out the tour you get to meet the black faced Scottish sheep, and feed them a little if they wish. The Festhaus dining & beer hall looks amazing inside and out, was a little perplexed to hear pop standards blaring at a level so loud you had to shout over the music to speak to one another. I would expect a German band to be playing inside a land called "Oktoberfest" at a German dining hall. Overall I think this park is just okay, but perhaps offer reduced tickets prices for what would be considered the "off season" now if so many offerings are unavailable during the week.

Whether or not you enjoy riding coasters (note: I do not), Busch Gardens is a lovely amusement park full of options for fun. I enjoy visiting for their special events, and I've attended both Howl-o-Scream and Christmastown. I'd say Halloween is the best time of year to visit as the temperatures aren't insane one extreme or another generally and the park is lively and exciting. I love their performances and haunted houses, especially. And you can't miss a ride on the teacups! (Yes, that is my thrill limit.)

The park is absolutely beautiful. I could see why they say it's the most beautiful theme park since everything is so vibrant and beautifully decorated. It is similar to other parks with all its themes and such. There are plenty of rides and they really stress on the roller coasters. For a first time visitor, it can be truly overwhelming without having done some research and planning on how to tackle all the lands in the park. Everything in the park besides the rides and shows are extra $$$ and not cheap. To start, general parking starts at $32 with taking a tram to the park entrance while preferred is a short walk to the entrance and VIP must be much closer. The food also costs more than it's worth. Sad part is, you can't bring your own. You could if you have dietary sensitivities and even before then, the park must be contacted for approval prior to bringing anything in. You can go back to your vehicle to eat your food though. So this goes back to properly planning if you're really deep into the park around meal times. We arrived shortly before noon and stayed till 9p. Had we arrived at park opening, we may not have missed out on England. Though maybe had we planned better, we could have made do with 10 hours. There's some waiting periods though not too long. Unless I had a season pass and without little kids, I may have gone back again. It's a one time visit for me and I think that's enough.

I went to Busch garden for the first time and it was a lot of fun. I am not a fan of roller coasters and big rides but I felt like it was shameful that I've lived in northern va/Richmond for 14 years and never been to Busch gardens so I had to go. It is a nice theme park with a lot of things to do. I enjoyed looking at the birds and visiting the different countries. I went on a Tuesday in July and it was really hot in the 90s. I was sweating until the sunset. I was there from 11am to 10pm, watched the fireworks for 4th of July before I left. I went on 2 rides. 1 ride, I waited 20 mins and the other one, waited 35 mins. This was a weekday so imagine weekends. The environment is clean, friends and families just hanging out having a good time. A lot of places to eat, snacks and drinks. I did the all day dinning deal, I paid $60. With this deal, you can eat at any of the cafeteria every 90 minutes. It wasn't a bad deal but I don't think it was worth it to me. The lines were long to get food and you only get an entree, 1 side and a drink. The person I went with was a little upset, 2 of the rides he really wanted to go on were down and other things he was hoping for were no longer there so kind of disappointing but still a lot of fun. Overall, it was a good experience. We got the season pass for about $140 to be able to go 6 different times in a year with a guest. I think that's a good deal and you get preferred parking. Also you can go to water country with this pass. I enjoyed the environment, I plan on going back during Halloween and Christmas times.

I have been a resident of Virginia for 38 years. I have been going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg since I was a child. Here's the thing about Busch Gardens Williamsburg (and this is not unique to this giant company): I have been a yearly pass holder for years now. This past Saturday the weather was great, so my girlfriend and I decided to go have some fun at Busch Gardens! Now, Friday, while planning our little trip, I checked out the Quick Queue pass (at this time it was $99 per person) but did not purchase it at this time. Saturday, we get to Busch Gardens and realize priority parking is full, and we will have to park in the auxiliary. At this point we knew it was going to be craaaazy busy and a bad experience (with the lines we'd be lucky if we got on a couple of roller coasters). With this in mind, I scrambled to purchase the Quick Queue Passes (which were not $130.00*******). So, not only did we pay $130.00 a piece for the Quick Queue Passes but they add some type of processing fee of $25. The total for the passes ended up being $300******. This is on top of the price I already pay for a yearly Gold Pass. QUICK QUEUE PASSESS (READ THE FINE PRINT) Flash forward to inside the park. We are enjoying our day. The Quick Queue Pass is fairly effective (Quick Queue lines are still kind of long but nothing like NOT having the Quick Queue Pass). BUT it wasn't until we made our way to Invadr that we realized the reality of Busch Gardens pricing practices. And this is why I say read the fine print. We paid $300**** for Quick Queue Passes to find out that CERTAIN rides require an UPGRADED pass called Quick Queue Unlimited Plus** (which would have been roughly an extra $100 and would have put us at $400 for the passes). So, if you don't have the upgraded pass then you paid $300 to stand in the regular rider line (So awesome right?!) I say all this to say that more than anything I am disappointed in this company of my childhood. It's my opinion that they have PREDATORY pricing and intentional PRICE GOUGING (without providing any considerable increase in quality or value). When you go to Busch Gardens, if you've gone as long as I have, you understand that the most value they offer is good thrill rides. The rest of the experience (bathrooms, dining, drinks, shopping, etc. is subpar). I say this to say that I could maybe justify the prices if the value and customer service I was receiving was comparable. Anyways, sorry to rant. I just believe in value for my money and great customer service. If you're looking for good thrill rides in this area and not much else, this is one of your only options. Not to be a curmudgeon (I'm only 38), but this company is just another example of out-of-control greedy capitalism.

Busch Gardens is a great place for family fun. Since the pandemic, the cleanliness of the bathrooms and food quality has been dismal and substandard.

It's always fun returning to Busch Gardens year after year to see how the park expands and upgrades. My favorite time of the year to come is during Howl-o-Scream. I feel like the employees really get into character and the park invests a lot of time and detail into the decor. I enjoy all of the rides and mazes and think it's cool how they add new rides pretty often. My favorite part of the trip was seeing a show located in Ireland. It was very funny and had a lot of pop culture jokes. My least favorite part of the trip was not being able to tell where the "safe zones" were after dark. I thought an area lit in green meant there would be no scares and people in costume but that wasn't consistent throughout the park. I'm super grateful for the military tickets I got to use with my family. Overall I had a great time and can't wait to go back next year!

Busch Gardens is huge! They divide their sections by countries so for instance there is Italy, France, England, etc. I love their all day dining pass where you can eat every 90 minutes. Having the different countries you can try different foods to share and it was much better than normal amusement park foods. They have a wonderful Christmas train ride around the holidays.

I was really excited to go to this theme park but I was kind of let down. While it's a pretty big park, I do think there could be room for a little more thrill rides. The ones we went on were great though. Two of the major ones were down which sucked but it is what it is. We had fast passes so we went through lines quick so no complaints there. Food is expensive in the park but where isn't it? Overall the park is ok but not my top.

Terrible trip today November 8th, they only opened for a half day so 12:30 til 6. Already seems problematic for anyone without a season pass. But I already paid for this so I went. First off the line just to park was 30 minutes. And then we had to park in Germany, NO Tram service today. So walk from the parking to the park then we proceeded straight to lochness monster as usual. No it's closed today. Well wait a minute I'm here for roller coasters let's see lochness and all coasters in Italy, and the big bad wolf were closed. So half the coasters in the park were closed all day. Ok I will try to make the best out of the situation and ride the other coasters, except they all have super long wait times cause all of these other rides are closed. I mean if I had payed for a single day ticket I would have been smoking mad. The park shouldn't be open if there is nothing to do. What a waste of everyone's time. And don't get me started on food and drink prices this place will not see me and my family of 5 renewing our passes next year. Also why should anyone ever pay to park this is just a cost of doing business for the park. Even if it is okay to charge for parking the prices are ridiculous and greedy. Yeah it's a beautiful park but you are running it into the ground.

This place is awesome. Parking is easy. No need to get the more expensive parking. Even the far parking lots are no more than 10 minute walk. And trams are convenient. Roller Coasters are awesome. They have some nice mega coasters. Apolos Chariot and Verbolten being my favorite ones. Just note that some of the mega.coasters don't run year round. Food is better than most theme parks. Maybe with the exception of Disney resorts. We get the all day dining option and it works out really great for a family of 4. The parking even at its busiest never seems over whelming. It's a pretty compact park so during the day you can easily circle the park a few times without a problem. Great value! In the era where Disney charges $180 bucks just for a one day ticket, we managed to get 2 days of park fees and all day dining for $400 bucks. That's just $50 per person per day. Which is awesome. One of our absolute favorite theme parks!

The park is so beautiful the staff are very welcoming and nice the roller coaster are excellent the train is amazing at Christmas Town when it dark out you can look the Christmas decorations

The rides were amazing my favorite ride was the big bad wolf's revenge and the monsters were fun. And scary.

My daughter needed to buy feminine hygiene products and was refused a bag. I don't know if BG just no longer gives out bags at all, or if it was the products she was buying. But she could only buy a whole box, didn't have a purse with her and asked for a bag, she was told they couldn't give her a bag. She was with her young daughter and had to walk around the park with a box of tampons. I'd love to know why she was refused a bag.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens was a a lot of fun. It was my first time at the park and I didn't know what to expect. But I must say that they did a real great job transforming the park in to haunted park. I don't want to give too much away without spoiling it, but the actors/actresses were great, the haunted houses were excellent, and ride roller coasters at night is a must!!!

Definitely a beautiful park! I would love to see it at Halloween time. The rides were also very fun (though lines were long on a Labor day holiday weekend). The dining packages are also an interesting concept. We also saw some of the musicians at a performance and they were quite good! What I thought could be improved: 1. Also, I thought the place could have used more directional signage -- I got lost! Like, I even had a hard time finding where the line starts for some rides. 2. On a hot summer day, there are not many places to find air conditioning (sans the giant Bavarian Hall). 3. The food (vegetarian options) was not good for entrees. I had lo mein that was like yucky spaghetti at best. 4. I saw one domestic violence incident, a fight almost break out, and a borderline stalking situation. This park needs more visible security.

We absolutely loved bush garden. It was on my bucket list and I'm so glad I got to experience with my husband and children. We got the meal plan as well for all of us which absolutely helped so much every 90 min you get a appreciate or dessert , an entree and a drink for 4 people it could add up so that meal plan was worth it . We loved there was so much for all of us to do and we were never bored . My 5 year old lasted 7 hours I was shocked . I would recommend this part to anyone atleast once in their life it's definitely worth the trip.

I've been visiting Busch Gardens since I was a child and have always had great experiences--until this most recent visit. Unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The bathrooms were extremely dirty and had a strong, unpleasant odor. Many of the staff members seemed unmotivated, with slow service and unprofessional attitudes. After waiting in a long line for food, we were served a meal that was mediocre at best--and unfortunately, several people in our group became sick afterward. The prices have become outrageous, while the quality has sharply declined. Charging $16.99 for a single shot of Jameson is not just unreasonable--it feels downright insulting. It's frustrating to be prompted for tips at every checkout while it's clear that staff wages need to be improved. The overall attitude and disengagement from staff seem to reflect deeper issues with upper management. This is a direct reflection of upper management failure. Even basic amenities were poorly maintained--several soda machines had no CO2, and the syrup was so watered down it clearly needed replacing. From our experience, it's painfully obvious that the executive team is more focused on maximizing profit than on delivering the kind of meaningful and memorable experience guests once came to expect.

Nice park. Dining packages are Worth the money, but possibly not the way. Not the wait. Good food. lines long. Rides were mostly up, but many of larger attractions down, 2x kicked off pantheon due to mechanical issues. Beautiful park that allows snacks to be brought in and has new and classic rides.

Super great theme park! I adore the theming, and it has some incredible rides - coasters and non-coasters included (Verbolten is my favorite). They also have plenty else to do, like shows, music, characters, animals, and the meal deal which we did (food was great). You can save a lot if you buy a multi-day pass or buy during one of their specials. Love it here!

I love Busch Gardens rides more than some parks but it was not like how it used to be. They need a better app to show you the wait times, most parks have updated wait times and it helps a lot. It takes a while to get to one side of the park to the other and most had 90min wait times but it was very hot. Only 3 rides were actively working. The shows made it so much fun! The food in the food court could be better but I know, it's not supposed to be amazing. The parking and shuttles are great and helped a lot! They had lots of shaded places and water refills. We made the day more about trying the food around the world. We got Ice cream, German food, and plushies. The parking for general parking is $32 which is outrageous

Best Theme Park Ever! Great roller coasters. Great food. Great Service. Very clean and looks beautiful while keeping that classic theme park feel. Love this place. I recommend Verbolton so fun

Went had a great time with my daughter seeing shows and riding a few of the rides. Was disappointed after all the money spent on parking... tickets and meal passes however that multiple rides were down . Pantheon... the sky rides... wirbelwind... pompei ... we still enjoyed the day just would have liked to fully take advantage of park.

This is our third year attending and had the worst experience this year. A security guard pulled our 15 year out of line while we were exiting the Clown Town room and started to harass him for touching a hanging chicken that was hanging in our face. Our entire group had to use our hands to move the chickens. The security officer did not ask the attendant adult to be present with our child. We were possibly racially profiled. Don't understand why this happened to us. Highly disappointed and will NEVER return here.

I love this amusement park It is absolutely gorgeous and has so much to see and do whether you are a thrill seeker or foodie or love live shows and animals It is equipped with two excellent kids areas and has several coasters as well as cliche carnival style rides the park is kept very clean and the Staff are kind and helpful Hot tip keep an eye out for sales around Black Friday they have very affordable passes that include parking

Busch Gardens is a really nice theme park with a heavy focus on roller coasters. As far as roller coasters go, it holds up to almost any other park. It's missing what you might expect from Disney world with characters and other entertainment, but in terms of rides (mostly roller coasters), you'll get more of them and more per hour than pretty much anywhere else I've been. As long as you avoid the few rides that have very long lines, you don't really wait more than 30 minutes for anything and frequently it's less than 15 minutes per ride. Because of the short lines, the quick queue (their skip-the-line option) wasn't really worth it. Even on a spring break weekend, it was only useful for the DarKoaster that had just opened and you had to buy that separate from the regular quick queue. More recently, we haven't even needed it as long as you were willing to wait 30-40m for that one ride. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the food is expensive and mediocre. If you're eating, the best places is probably the German festival house in the back of the park, which has a nice sausage platter and a craft beer bar in the back.
