"Hideaway at Bush Bay Completely off-the-beaten-path and almost totally secluded in the northwest of Antigua is diminutive Bush Beach. I was staying at Blue Waters Resort when I felt the need for a little exercise, so I swung by their water sports shed to check out a kayak. I asked where I should go, to which the guy answered: "You should really stay in the bay here where I can see you... but if you want, you can try going around the bluff. There's a beach back there no one goes to." A beach no one goes to? Sign me up! Kayaking around the bluff wasn't too difficult and the reward? Well, you're looking at it. An untouched bush-lined beach all to myself! For those not staying at Blue Waters, there's a slightly hidden path down to the beach from the road... Just don't tell too many people about it!"

Want to get to Bush Bay? Either you have a jepp or you face a walk of more than half an hour. When you arrive, though, you're in heaven! Plus, you'll probably be alone. In fact, very few people come here. The beach is fantastic, the sea crystal clear. The rest is up to the pictures. In my personal antiguan top 3.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Antigua! This beach is “off the beaten path” and requires a good vehicle (I recommend something high like a jeep wrangler, a pick up truck or any good off road vehicle). You will have to do some hiking to access the beach if not driving. Personal story: I had a rental car that couldn’t manage the roads so I parked her up and walked/hiked to the beach. It’s 100% worth checking out Bush bay beach. It’s very private and clean. Enjoy! Diquan, 2022

An absolute beauty. Peaceful and secluded. It’s about a mile and a half hike (splits off from deep blue bay trail) or you can get there by boat.

We read reviews and expected to do a bit of walking as we only had a hired Toyota Yaris, but we made it all the way to the beach with the car. The beach is superb and at the time we were the only ones there watching the boats go by and a pelican that was nesting nearby. The only downside is the amount of rubbish left by selfish others on the roadside.

Bush Bay is located on the North Western Coast of Antigua somewhat in the vicinity of Dickenson Bay and Soldier Bay. The access to this Secluded area is by sea or by land (an off road vehicle is recommended or park and walk) however the road is quite rough. The journey is definitely worth it and the picturesque vistas are quite rewarding. There are several Beaches and rugged rocky coastline which makes it quite interesting. I personally enjoyed my many visits and would recommend to anyone speaking an adventure.
