The food was very tasty! I loved their stop/go system, and the staff were extremely attentive even with how busy the restaurant was! The picanha melts in your mouth and the pork crackle was crispy and warm! I couldn't stress enough how friendly and attentive the staff were! They made the whole experience much more amazing!

everything was tasty and full of flavour and the service was outstanding. all the dishes come in super small portion sizes but you can get more of anything you want, the staff were super friendly and attentive and always checked in to see how everything was going and if we wanted more of anything. we had to get refills of cheese bread and crackling from the starters(so delicious), and also the rice from the sides. even the mains were very small but it ended up being absolutely perfect as i had no idea about the absolute abundance of skewers coming my way. everything was so perfectly timed, the staters were served practically the moment we sat down and then everything just kept coming. could barely finish the dessert, definitely left FULL. will be back.

Our team — all from Papua New Guinea — came in for breakfast this morning, (12/07/25) including our managing director, managers and colleagues. Sadly, the experience was let down by one staff member’s attitude. When our boss politely asked for two tables, she was met with unnecessary rudeness. Throughout our meal, this staff member walked around with a stony face and showed no warmth or basic courtesy. It was especially disappointing given that she’s also from PNG — you’d expect at least a small nod of connection or friendliness. Instead, it felt cold and unwelcoming. While the food was good, customer service matters, and this left a sour note on what should have been a pleasant group breakfast

Absolutely amazing experience! The food was authentic, flavourful, and beautifully presented. From the perfectly grilled meats to the delicious sides and traditional Brazilian dishes, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere was warm and vibrant, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a true taste of Brazil. We'll definitely be coming back!

We had the most amazing experience. Our waiter, Timo was incredible. Apparently it was his first week, so well done! Food was sensational, the carvers were all lovely. Thank you to you too, Rafael 👌🏽

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bushfire Restaurant in Cairns, and we were absolutely blown away! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. As a vegetarian, I often find it challenging at all-you-can-eat style restaurants, but Bushfire exceeded all expectations. They went above and beyond to cater to my dietary needs, offering a fantastic variety of delicious vegetarian options. Meanwhile, my husband, a true meat-lover, was enjoying the selection of perfectly cooked meats. And then there was dessert... Oh, the dessert! The pineapple with cinnamon and sugar was, without a doubt, one of the best desserts I have ever tasted. The service was impeccable throughout our visit, attentive without being intrusive. Bushfire Restaurant truly offers a unique dining experience in Cairns. Whether you're a meat enthusiast, a vegetarian, or anything in between, you're in for a treat.

This evening, we experienced exceptional dining at Bushfire Flame Grill, enjoying the complete Churasco BBQ menu. The meal was outstanding from start to finish. We especially commend the pork crackle and watermelon appetizer, the flavorful rice, and the exceptionally tender and juicy meats; each cut presented a distinct and memorable taste. The pineapple was superb, and the churros dessert was also excellent. We express our sincere appreciation to Rafael for his welcoming service, to Miyu for her exceptional attentiveness and courtesy, exceeding expectations for myself and my children, and to Luis for his engaging and pleasant interaction. We plan to return during our next trip to Cairns.

The staff were very attentive on arrival and throughout the evening. The food was delicious and a great amount served. The stop go was a great idea! All staff were very friendly we’d definitely come back again to eat here.

Yelp
After reading mixed reviews about this eating establishment we decided to try it for ourselves. We were very satisfied with the friendly and polite customer service. The different meats were all very juicy and tasty.. We did have seconds of the yummy pork.. We happened to book for an early dinner to find the buffet was at a reduced price of only $42 per person if you vacated your table by 7.00pm. We were pretty full after eating constantly for 50 minutes. To walk off dinner we took a stroll to the night markets. I would personally recommend this quirky dining experience.

Yelp
I had mixed feelings coming here based on the Yelp reviews when coming here for the NYE dinner. I made reservations two days before, and my family was immediately seated when we showed up. After about fifteen minutes, we were given entrees - crab cakes, prosciutto, cheese. For the next half an hour, we just sat there as we watched the workers walked around carrying different meats. The restaurant has a system where you need to get your entrees first, then the main dishes, and finally the meats. It was very frustrating because we came to the restaurant mainly for the meats. It took an hour of waiting before the servers started bringing the meats to our table. Out of all the meats (chicken, beef, lamb, seafood) the pork and pineapple stood out the most. To conclude the meal, there were chocolate tarts for dessert. It was my brother's birthday, so I asked our server if she could do something special. At first, the manager said "no" because everything was premade already. However, when they brought out our dessert, they gathered most of the workers together and serenaded Happy Birthday to my Brother. It was quite the surprise and I got to experience an Australian celebration. I wished that my experience at Bushfire Flame Grill was better as the food was quite good. I understand that there would be a delay since if was New Year's Eve, but it just sucked to have to wait so long for the food to come, especially since the price per person that night was more than its regular, at $79.

Yelp
We opted for a grill your own beef on a hot stone and fish entree. It came with a starter soup and bread as well as a dessert. The beef on a hot stone was really just for the novelty factor (it was barely seasoned), and the veges / coleslaw next to it seemed quite old and not fresh. The fish entree was much better cooked and presented with a solid side of veges. The dessert was overly sweet and seemed very overpriced. There was an all-you-can-drink station off to the side with coffee, hot water, and tea. The meal was overall very rushed as the waitstaff brought our the next course even when we had barely started our current course.

Yelp
The Churrasco-style dining experience is simply put one of the best meals you will ever have. All I can say is, come here hungry. Churrasco is a centuries-old Brazilian style meal in which waiters and waitresses come around with long swords loaded with meat, and slice as much as you want right onto your plate. At Bushfire, they start by bringing you some delicious side items, including jasmine rice, potatoes au gratin, and salad. Soon after, the meat arrives. I was not prepared for how many different kinds of meat we would be getting. First, they brought grilled shrimp, plump and juicy. Then they brought beef, and the beef is arranged on the sword from rare to well done. It was tender and incredibly tasty. The beef was followed by sausages, pork, lamb, and chicken. I tried a sample of each, and all were amazing. It's all you can eat, so you can ask them to bring back whatever you want more of. Staff are all very friendly, service is prompt, and the food is seasoned and grilled to perfection. Prices? Well, it's not cheap. The Churrasco experience was $50 Australian, and beers are quite pricey as well. If you're on vacation in Cairns, I recommend making this your one "splurge" night. Their menu has other items, including different kinds of steak. All in all, this place is quite deserving of 5 stars. Fantastic restaurant.

Yelp
If there was a zero star this place would get that due to lack of authenticity. As someone who lived in Brazil and has been to more than 100 Brazilian restaurants my expectations were not even close to being met. Before I rant I do want to say that the people there were very nice. No one was rude and the service was great. Below I have listed a number of underwhelming things. 1. No salad bar whatsoever. When you go to a Brazilian restaurant the first thing you do is hit this massive salad bar with many different options. 2. No white rice or feijoada. Feijoada is a very common and major staple in Brazil. How can you even consider having a Brazilian restaurant with no rice or feijoada. 3. No Brazilian drink guarana. WTF? This is a delicious epic Brazilian drink that is a huge part of the experience. 4. Bringing out some of the side dishes that are normally in the salad bar was weird. 5. The meat section was garbage. I think I counted six meat choices. Normally there are around 15 at dinner time. In addition most of the meats were not cooked well. I actually didn't eat some of the meat which never happens. Undercooked, not salted enough, weird styles of cooking were only some of the problems with the meat. 6. The staff is not in love with this place. No passion or excitement about working here. I asked some of the staff if they eat here and they said no. I'm not surprised. Not their fault. That burden is in the owners and management. 7. No Brazilian desserts. Wtf? No flan? How can you not have flan? Oh but they did have churros straight from Mexico. 8. Someone had a birthday and the staff didn't sing in Portuguese. They sang in English. Wtf? Where is the authenticity of this place? Have the owners ever been to Brazil? I doubt it. How about hiring a consultant to work on the authenticity and the food?

Yelp
I've been here twice and found the quality overall fairly average. I've been to several high end Churrascaria's in Brazil so may be being a bit harsh. Just put some better cuts of meat (especially beef!) on that BBQ!

Yelp
Mediocre and overpriced. Best part was the pineapples which says a lot. They bring out meats very slowly so you don't get thru good variety just a lot of one or two kinds of meat. The sides completely did nothing for the meal. Pass if you have better option.

Yelp
After a long day of diving, the husband and I were tired and starving. We walked by and husband immediately perked up. We were sat quickly (week night around 6:30pm) and explained the menu. We had the all you can eat option. Food came quickly! The meats are all cooked expertly, the pork and sausage were the husbands favorites. I preferred the chicken and lamb. The rice and bean sides were a bit bland, but I'm picky. Friendly service and great for large groups!

Yelp
After a terrible dining experience on the main drag in Cairns the night before, my husband and I decided to give this place a try as it looked like one of the 'nicer' establishments. We were starved after a day of snorkeling and couldn't wait to sink our teeth into some unlimited meat. Most everyone has been to a Brazilian Steakhouse - you indicate if you want people to come up to you using a red or green sign on the table - if it's green the staff carrying around meat are supposed to swing by and offer you whatever they are serving up. Really pretty simple concept. At Bushfire, this was not the case. There was an orchestrated order in which the food came. I'm not sure how they keep track of it, but first you get lamb, then you get chicken, then you get pork, and then seafood, and then steak (I could have the order wrong but that is not the relevant point here). Once you got lamb, you could NEVER get lamb again!?!? The lamb guy not only never stopped by again, but blatantly ignored you if you called out 'Excuse Me!'. Same with the chicken guy, and the chorizo guy. What gives? If I'm paying for unlimited meat, I want unlimited meat - not just however much you put on my plate when you first stop by my table. How do I know which meat I like the best and which I want to double down on? Only when I physically tapped someone on the arm did they explain to me that I'd have to see the hostess to let them know if I wanted someone to stop by my table more than once. For $50 a person, I expect unlimited meat. If you are as desperate as I was for a semi-decent meal, I wouldn't advise against coming here - just make sure you get all of the meat you think you might want, plus a little more, when you are offered it! Oh and skip the seafood - it was a watery mess of previously frozen shellfish.

Yelp
The Bushfire is undoubtedly the most prominent restaurant that you would encounter when you walk down the esplanade at Cairns. It's located at the Pacific Hotel, very close to the Reef Terminal. The ambience is breathtaking. The portion of the sidewalk immediately outside the restaurant is lined with lit torches. It looks beautiful in the evenings. The menu is quite short and straightforward. They specialise in Brazillian barbecue. A couple in a nearby table had ordered the "churrasco" meal. The meat seemed great but the variety on offer was less extensive than what one would find at a "Rodizio Rico" in London. The menu also contained a Japanese steak preparation, which was intriguing. But I went for something more conventional. The steak was very well cooked, the best i had during my trip to Australia, and the accompanying bearnaise sauce was great as well. It was somewhat pricey. A 300gm steak with a drink and an antipasti starter came to be around $60. There were some idiosyncrasies which European travellers would find unusual and frankly ridiculous, but they seemed to be quite common in Australia. Bushfire, like many other Australian restaurants, charge extra for card usage (why not a discount for cash ?), they have a surcharge on public holidays (just print a different menu instead) and a charge for split bills. Normally these would have caused me to deduct a star or two had this been in Europe or in the US. But I feel that this is a common practice down under. I will surely come back to Bushfire whenever I visit Cairns next and so this gets five stars.

Yelp
As Michael mentioned, they specialise in Brazilian Churrasco. Unfortunately I couldn't convince the people who were with me to try this but in the end I guess I was still lucky because I went for their steak and it was truly and unbelievably delicious! I am not lying when I say I hadn't had such a good steak in years. And mind you, I grew up with French cuisine, so I guess my reference standards are quite high. Highly recommended, you won't regret your slightly more pricey visit here.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. We ordered the Churasco experience for $50 a person and it was well worth it. We were both sufficiently full at the end of it. The waiters come by with the skewers of meat and give you as much as you would like. The meat was cooked well and seasoned properly. The sides were very tasty as well. The only small complaint I would have is the service. The service is excellent, but it's excellent to the point of almost over service. We were offered dessert three separate times by three separate waiters. Perhaps if they would clear the dirty plates sooner it would be a signal that we have already been attended to. That would be the only thing that I would complain about. Everything else was excellent and I would definitely return

Yelp
Mediocre service. Staff don't come by often enough, unlike every other Brasilian stakehouse. Not worth the price tag.

Yelp
Good quality steak came with tasty sweet potato fries but was let down by a salad that was more like a watery salsa. Reasonable value for the location but nothing special.

Yelp
We happened across this place whilst looking for somewhere to have dinner in Cairns. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, especially if you like meat! Would definitely go back.

Yelp
4 stars if you like Brazilian BBQ style food, very typical for a Brazilian place - the food is brought out skewered and pieces cut for you until you signal that you are full. The meat tasted good none was amazing but all of it was ok, the pineapple however was amazing.

Yelp
Went there last night for dinner the service was good and atmosphere was good but the for was not up to scratch I've be to a lot of Brazilian BBQ and this one was ok not the best.
