Bushmills Hostel

Excellent service from the owner. I had made an incorrect booking and although the hostel wasn't fully open he accomodated us. Really appreciated his kindness. Great hostel. Family room really good. Messanine in the bedroom......great. Relaxing area great. However the beds were very thin!! Hope to be back.

Great stay for an affordable (for the area) hostel, perfectly located downtown, comfy beds, our checkin was seamless. It’s a bit older of a building but most hostels are! Tons of storage space, great hot water and water pressure which is what we cared about after a long walk.

I don't understand the prices of this hostel for a private room. If you have a car then lots of other options in the area including Aunt Rachel's hostel about 5 mins away at literally half the price. Everything provided including towels. Or for a few pounds more you can stay in a local hotel with a full breakfast provided. Location is central but even if a taxi was needed you'd still save money. I don't get it!!

Had a lovely peaceful stay, room clean fresh bedding and pleasent staff. Bushmills just 2 miles walk to giants causeway walking beside the small heritage railway, and lovely hikes along the coast. Good value for money.

Thisxwas a great place to stay. Our room was a great size, shower hot and good pressure. Friendly helpful staff

the location is great. the price is adequate. the cleanliness is not the worst in relation to the price even good. the water was very hot it was impossible to take a shower it was burning. overall I recommend it. you can definitely sleep, everywhere is close to shops and wonderful attractions

Let’s start with the positives: Pros – The location is great, right next to the bus stop, so it’s easy to find. 🚌 Plus, they have a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook to your heart’s content, which is a nice touch if you enjoy making your own meals. 👩‍🍳🍳 Now for the Cons – The check-in time is the worst I’ve ever experienced, especially for international travelers. 🌍✈️ After traveling halfway across the world, you’re expected to wait until 3:30 PM for someone to show up with the keys, despite informing the property 10 days in advance that we needed early check-in. All the flights and buses to Bushmills arrive around 10 AM, so why is check-in at 3:30 PM? It doesn’t make any sense at all! 😠 To make matters worse, the phone number listed on their website and everywhere else is completely useless—nobody answers. You can keep calling, and no one will pick up. 📞🚫 It’s frustrating and unprofessional. The property itself is very old, and the bathrooms are in poor condition. 🚿 The only reason people end up booking here is because it’s the most affordable place in Bushmills, so there’s really no choice. 😕

Good wheelchair access, except some doors were a bit tight to get through. Industrial style kitchen, so not very inviting. Though the eating area was fine - canteen style.
