Business Hotel "Belvedere-Nevsky"

Location - Not all reception staff speak English - The hotel woody floor which is unstable and making creaking noise. - Bed sheets were not changed when checked in. Very bad smell. They were replaced after we ask for that the next day. -

I had a good experience picking this hotel for a business trip where the main venue was Palace Square. It has a very good location providing a possibility of a walking distance to the most important sights in Saint Petersburg. The breakfast was sufficient and the room was very clean. No matter the hotel is located in a common stairway, I had no issue with that. The staff is very friendly.

Pros: |location, absolutely. Rooms are clean, furniture cheap but new. Excellent breakfast. ||Cons: |The hotel is located inside a business centre: there is no lobby, no lobbybar, no rest area. The reception ladies are not trained to be customer-oriented. They seem to be fired from a soviet theatre and hired at this hotel, all of them. Talking to customers as if we are a disturbance to their vacation. Never told me there is a minibar in the room: I never even imagined there was one but they asked if I used it at checkout. Keys get demagnetized, customer is to blaim, of course. Unfriendly attitude in general. Aircon never gets cleaned: you can feel strange odor every time you switch it on. Complained, was told that a technician ''will see it on Monday" but I left on Sunday. Amenities really cheap. Toilet paper: two rolls for three days for two people. Bedside lamp burnt out: complained by email, email receives by reception (they confirmed), never got a reply, never fixed.

From this hotel is only short walk to number major sights of the St. Petersburg like Hermitage Museum, Church of the Savior on Blood, Fabergé Museum, Nevsky Prospect with all those cafes etc. ||The hotel itself was quite small average three star hotel. Outside it was unobtrusive (and there was kind of renovation project going on). Hotel located on the second and third floor of the building.||Some rooms of the hotel was very spacious but smaller ones was normal size rooms. Breakfast was quite standard. ||This hotel was something we expected from three star hotel. Nothing surprising, but it was not a disappointment either. ||One detail. In the room, there was small safety box in the wardrobe. It was totally useless because it was not attached to the wardrobe at all and it would have been easy for the thief to take the whole box with it. |

I do not recommend this hotel. I’ve stayed in many different hotels in St Petersbourg before, and this is one of the worst.|The elevator is not working, the floors make sound at your every step, both in corridors and in the room. The room furniture and curtains are old and dirty; the room air stinks. The shower cabin is very small and the shower itself works only 15 seconds, after that you have to re-push the button again.|It’s VERY loud if your windows go to the B.Konnyshennaya street; parties, honking cars with loud music and street singers are a disaster and will not let you sleep peacefully.|The breakfast is poor. The “hot” meal is cold.|The pluses are: location (right on Nevsky) and friendly staff.|If this hotel didn’t pretend to be a 4* one, I wouldn’t care to write a review, but if you expect a good solid hotel, this one would be a disappointment.

Only 5 minutes walk to the Hermitage. 2 minutes from Nevsky Prospect with all the shops and restaurants. The hotel room was nice. A bit noisy at night time as there is always live music in the streets. Breakfast was okay except that some of the food was sometimes gone before the end of breakfast window. So you had to be there early to get the things you want. All in all a good experience.

Belveder Nevsky Business Hotel is located in the center part of St. Petersburg, close to main tourist attraction (The State Hermitage Museum).||Rooms are comfortable and clean. ||Good breakfast.||The staff is very polite and helpful.||||Reception is located on the second floor and rooms are on the second and the third. You can use small elevator to get to reception.||||The hotel is good for the short stay.

Beautiful and cozy hotel in the hearth of St Petersburg. |Accommodation was booked for my parents wedding anniversary and they were really pleased with their stay. Hotel staff took good care of them.||Only thing that hotel could approve is the not so good coverage of wifi in the rooms.||Would recommend to friends and family.
