This was my first stay in a business hotel. The rooms are tiny, as are beds and restrooms. Staff are warm and very welcoming. They also had morning breakfast too which I like cause I just love the Japanese bread especially as toast with butter.

Be prepared for this place. Pros: The price I paid was amazing The location is amazing The staff is friendly Fridge works great Fresh pajamas and sheets every day Microwave in lobby Cons: No free breakfast Doors locked from 1am to 5am (no one gets in, no one gets out) No guests allowed Must vacate your room from 10am, and can't return until 3pm (this was absolutely annoying) TV programming is hit or miss. Mostly miss. Staff knows almost zero English. If I ever stay here again, the prices better be very low, and I better prepare myself to not be able to stay in and get extra sleep.

I only stayed one night for 5400 yen. In general I would say that that was a little pricier than it was worth (4500 would have been closer). The location is great cause it's near Shinjuku Station. But the interior was ancient and falling apart. The comforter looked a little gross and old, but the sheets were clean. The window faced a brick wall that you could reach out and touch so no natural light came in. The bed was hard, but not unusually so for Japan. ||||All in all, it was a mostly clean bed in a central location, which was good.

Japanese breakfast is good for your experience. Water drain is sometimes very bad, so make sure you check when you check-in your room. The inside of the hotel has gloomy atmosphere, but location is good to go to any place around Shinjuku and main areas in Tokyo.

Yelp
A comfy spot to spend a few days that offers a bit of respite from the insane crowds of Tokyo, but is minutes away from two train stations and even walking distance to Shinjuku. The staff here were very accommodating. The first room we booked had a bit of an odor to it that wasn't to our liking. They swapped us out to a different room for the second night and the rest of our stay was great. The rooms are versatile. There's two rooms, actually, one for storage and one you use as a living/dining area that's converted to the bedroom once you plop the futon on the floor (which is a very comfy bed!). There's a TV, tea, mini-fridge and free wifi. What more do you need? And the location is seriously fantastic, as Shin-Okubo has some fun spots worth checking out that are fairly less crowded and touristy than the epicenters of Tokyo.
