Bussola

Had the best pre-flight dinner at Bussola at The Westin Dubai (stayed for 5 nights and glad that had a chance to visit this restaurant finally), and it was everything I hoped for and more. We sat on the upper floor, overlooking the stunning Dubai night view; it’s super cozy, chill, and such a nice vibe before heading to the airport. The food was next-level amazing, and it’s clear they take quality seriously. Told that ingredients are imported straight from Italy, and the chef is also from there, so every bite felt authentic. The burrata was a total showstopper; it was huge, the biggest I’ve ever seen! Creamy, oozing with richness, paired perfectly with fresh tomatoes and basil. We also had tender beef carpaccio with peppery arugula and parmesan, which was light and full of flavor. The seafood linguine was another highlight, al dente pasta loaded with fresh lobster and shrimp in a bright tomato sauce. We finished with classic tiramisu that was light, creamy, and not too sweet. Service was warm and efficient, no rush at all even though we were catching a flight. Great atmosphere, amazing food, and beautiful night views, would absolutely come back.

There is a pizzeria place upstairs which is only pizzas and some antipasti and salads like carpaccio and caprese salad. There is pork salami here like on the diavolo pizza. Pizzas are great, view is beautiful, ambience is nice....so definitely worth coming here. It's just strange that there is only pizza upstairs and then downstairs is more high end but does have much pizza choice and then pastas. Ultimately good pizzas and worth coming to although pricey.

Loved this place. We had such an amazing time at Bussola for Sunday brunch! The food variety was fantastic, everything kept coming, fresh, and absolutely delicious. From start to finish, every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was also top notch; the staff were attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. I loved every moment and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Bussola came highly recommended for some good italian food & it did not disappoint! We had mushroom ravioli & gnocchi - great options. Their drinks were on point, we tried aperol spritz, pornstar martini & their signature cocktail!

Bussola is a fantastic restaurant! The ambience is elegant, the staff attentive and quick to serve. The food is fresh and delicious, beautifully presented, and the place is spotless with very clean facilities. A perfect spot for dining out!

We absolutely loved the pizza—paired with a great wine! The vibe here is amazing, and the service was top-notch: warm, friendly, and so accommodating. It’s also wonderfully kid-friendly, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

The service is so bad. The food is tasty, but the portions are small for the price. It's not worth coming back. (P.S. didn't try the pizza, which is only available on the second floor) *After the F&B Guest Relations Manager responded to my review, I’m updating my post so I can respond to her directly. However, my original review still stands. I’d like to thank Ms. Makki for taking the time to respond to my review. Since several of us had expressed concerns after our initial visit (we were 5pp), one of our group members was contacted by her and was offered a complimentary Sunday buffet experience, including food and two drinks. Three of us attended. We were seated at the far end of the venue and were told the buffet would be set up nearby, but this didn’t happen. Instead, the buffet was placed on a more distant table. A waiter eventually passed by, and we requested three drinks—one for each of us. The first drinks were not good (gin basil) but the next ones were much better, i guess a different bartender prepared them. We also asked if we could move to a closer table, and he agreed, so we relocated to a more central spot. We stayed from around 9 p.m. until 11 p.m. because the music was really nice, yet not once during that time did any staff member, Ms. Makki, or a manager check in on us to see if we needed anything or if everything was satisfactory. Considering we were invited back to give the place a second chance after a disappointing first visit, we expected a better experience. Unfortunately, the service was even more underwhelming this time. The buffet itself wasn’t bad, and we did get to try the pizza this time—it was cold but not terrible. (P.S. The toilet was sadly dirty.) I’m not writing this to get more free invites; my only aim is to share an honest review in the hope that the service might improve for future guests. Hoping your team can turn things around.

Absolutely wonderful venue! Great location near the water and some of the best service I have encountered in almost 10 years of being in Dubai. We celebrated a birthday there at the Sunday brunch and everything was perfect. The staff helped us blow up some balloons to make the atmosphere even more special. Will definitely be going back!
