Busua Inn Guesthouse and French Cuisine Busua Ghana

Great place, right at the beach. Good food, lovely owner and staff. Bed is good, but the had no warm water (seems I needed to do something that I did not know) but even if it was warm, there was so little pressure that it would not have made a difference. WiFi is excellent. From a price quality perspective, it’s good! Be aware if can be smelly when they are smoking fish next door (but is in a lot of places in Ghana) and sometimes you smell th sewer (again not uncommon in Ghana)

I didn't stay at Busua Inn this time but I will definitely on my next visit to Busua. Smacked right on the beach, this cute guest house offers an amazing view of the long stretch of beach with kids and adults, foreign and local all playing, swimming and surfing. The owner, Danielle: a French national has been part of this local community for 25 years. She and her staff are very welcoming and helpful. Although I wasn't lodging, they offered and shared their wifi. The server was attentive, and the food didn't delay (although I expected it 😅😉). My beef kebab was soft and flavourful and would be perfect if it wasn't cold. I bought a beautiful beaded bracelet from their local bead shop.

I was very excited to stay here. The room was nice although the shower only trickled. I was told not to use the Wifi too much and I often found that it wasn't working at all. I later found out that the owner sometimes turns it off to save money. Meals at the restaurant were good but overpriced. Great location but equally, there are other places on the same stretch of beach that are nicer and that support economic growth of the local community.

The place is absolutely amazing—Busua truly is a surf and chill paradise! Busua Inn is an excellent choice, offering delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. While the staff might seem a bit shy and stiff at first, they quickly warm up and are incredibly helpful and friendly. The French owner is a wonderful lady—thank you for all your assistance! The only minor downside was one shower that wasn’t working initially, but the owner addressed it perfectly by offering a discount. The beds are a bit firm, but that’s a small trade-off for such an overall fantastic experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay in Busua!

I've been coming to Busua for almost 20 years and Busua Inn is the most wonderful place. Beautiful fresh food on the beach, service with a guaranteed smile, nothing is ever too much for Danielle. Took my son this time who loves it there, so warm and welcoming, family friendly. He learnt to surf and had an enormous appetite which was catered for!!! Slept incredibly well, the most chilled long weekend in a long time!

My partner and I stayed at the Busua Inn for 5 nights and were immediately impressed by the owner, (Danielle’s) warmth and kindness. Her inn is comfortable and perfectly situated on the beach for easy access to surfing or drinking your morning coffee with a view of the ocean. The food was GREAT, reasonably priced and offered excellent options. Finally, we found the rooms comfortable and clean. Thank you for a wonderful vacation, we home to visit again soon!

I hadn't been back for a few years due to COVID. My son didn't believe that such a wonderful place existed, he came for the first time!||We slept brilliantly, ate beautifully fresh food, were looked after like royalty! ||To top it off, my son learnt to surf and loved it. A wonderful long weekend at Busua Inn again, thanks so much

Excellent beach-front property with a chill waterfront lounge area. The rooms are not fancy but are spacious and everything works. The food is delicious. The owner, Danielle, is absolutely lovely. Highly recommended.
