Butcher Baker Bangalow

Stopped by for some cakes and was impressed by the great selection of freshly baked treats available: cupcakes, pastries, mini pavlovas, lamingtons, and other classic Aussie favourites. We took a few home but couldn’t resist sitting down for a slice of carrot cake and a tasty chai latte. The atmosphere is cosy, service was fast and friendly, and there’s comfy seating out the back if you want to relax for a while. If you want good coffee, go there. If you want good bakery food, go there. If you want good cafe food, go there. I highly recommend this place for brunch as it has very nice service, ambience and food.

I had the farmers breakfast and got a little sweet treat also, so many delicious options and the coffee was sublime, staff really go the extra mile and the place really welcoming, would definitely eat here again!

Butcher Baker in Bangalow is a true delight! The cinnamon doughnut was an absolute treat—perfectly fluffy, with just the right amount of sweet, spicy goodness. Paired with their flat white coffee, which was rich, smooth, and expertly crafted using local Ground Control Coffee Roasters beans, it was a match made in heaven. We also grabbed a bag of their roasted coffee beans, which brewed an exceptional cup at home. The staff were friendly, and the heritage building added a charming vibe. Parking can be tricky on Sunday mornings due to the bustling Bangalow Farmers Market, but it’s no issue other times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this gem.

This was the best breakfast ever! I always try to find something different when travelling and I research before we hit the road. So I found Butcher Baker, its menu and specifically the eggs with pickled anchovies and wilted greens. This was superb, unique and paired perfectly with bacon. Everything about this cafe was the best standard, from all the foods in the displays, the decore and the staff. the owners were so obliging and friendly. Would I go there again? my oath I will and I'd actually go out of my way to eat there again. Well done!

Not impressed. I don't normally give bad reviews but this was not a great experience at all. Admittedly we arrived 10 minutes before closing so all was served in takeaway containers which we had no problem with, as understand people want to get home. Our biggest gripe was the outrageous price! No items were priced in cabinet which is often a warning. We had a Brisket burger which was small and only had brisket and some pickles and cost $18.70!! One small orange cake, juice in bottle, 1 coffee and 1x chai tea. Total $53.18!! I understand that times are tough and people need to make a profit but not good when customers leave feeling ripped off. All the best to you but we won't be back.

Easy place to enjoy. Relaxed setting. Friendly patrons. Something for the kids to do and great food. Our little guy had his first baby chino here… and he approves.
