This is such an amazing cafe. Their barista is hands down the best in the northern rivers and I’m not even sure I’ve seen latte this good anywhere else. Great selection of takeaway goodies as well as eat in meals. Friendly staff - I just love this place so much.

Never in my life did I think you could justify so much money for a Banh Mi, but somehow it was worth every penny. All of the food was great, but the gourmet Banh Mi was utterly amazing. The kids food was also well presented which is a nice touch.

Stopped by for some cakes and was impressed by the great selection of freshly baked treats available: cupcakes, pastries, mini pavlovas, lamingtons, and other classic Aussie favourites. We took a few home but couldn’t resist sitting down for a slice of carrot cake and a tasty chai latte. The atmosphere is cosy, service was fast and friendly, and there’s comfy seating out the back if you want to relax for a while. A lovely little spot in a gorgeous old building, perfect for coffee and a treat if you’re in Bangalow. My Instagram: @BenCanTravel My Youtube: @BenCanTravel

I want to love this place and I believe the owners have gone to a lot of effort, which I acknowledge. I also acknowledge the quality of the food, well presented. The chef is good. The service is ok. But it’s suffering from 2 things that should not both be in play, in my opinion. Small portions and high prices. I ordered the eggs Benedict gluten free. It was: $27 plus $3 gluten free = $30 It came with one piece of small toast (first time I have ever had an eggs benny with one slice of toast) small amount of spinach, 2 eggs and some ham. I ate the whole thing in about 5 bites. Sorry….but when you are increasing prices due to inflation, you can’t also shrink the portions. Choose one or the other please. At least make people feel good about paying too much and deliver a decent meal.

I had the farmers breakfast and got a little sweet treat also, so many delicious options and the coffee was sublime, staff really go the extra mile and the place really welcoming, would definitely eat here again!

If you want good coffee, go there. If you want good bakery food, go there. If you want good cafe food, go there. I highly recommend this place for brunch as it has very nice service, ambience and food.

Butcher Baker in Bangalow is a true delight! The cinnamon doughnut was an absolute treat—perfectly fluffy, with just the right amount of sweet, spicy goodness. Paired with their flat white coffee, which was rich, smooth, and expertly crafted using local Ground Control Coffee Roasters beans, it was a match made in heaven. We also grabbed a bag of their roasted coffee beans, which brewed an exceptional cup at home. The staff were friendly, and the heritage building added a charming vibe. Parking can be tricky on Sunday mornings due to the bustling Bangalow Farmers Market, but it’s no issue other times. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this gem.

Easy place to enjoy. Relaxed setting. Friendly patrons. Something for the kids to do and great food. Our little guy had his first baby chino here… and he approves.
