We had breakfast here today while in Mudgee (29.6.25)
Coffee was good and the food was nice but a bit pricey for what you got.
( French toast was only one piece of toast served with a scoop of ice cream. $27.50)

We came here 3x over the weekend haha so that says a lot. The coffee and food was beautiful, and they’re snacks/pastries. Highly reccomend the breakfast burrito and pulled beef benny

We had the best breakfast and coffee here! Mudgee was buzzing with people thanks to the NRL and races, yet the team managed to seat our group of six without a reservation. The meals came out quickly, were full of flavour, generous in size and absolutely delicious. The coffees were huge, just perfect for a Sunday pick-me-up. Great service and atmosphere, highly recommend!

We made a point of coming into this unique cafe in Mudgee, based on the use of a character filled old butchers shop. We were allowed to share the "Butchers Breakfast", and it was sensational. Generous and full of a great variety of flavours. And the coffee! Absolutely fantastic!! Well done. Pity we live so far away.

10 out of 10 recommend. We came here on a really busy morning with our kids. The service was excellent and quick. The food was absolutely exceptional. I had the beef eggs Benny. The coffee was delicious. Check it out!

The Butcher Shop cafe is in , Yep an old Butcher shop. Stained glass windows, tall walls, old roof mounted racks, etc.
Cool place, great vibe,
The coffee and cakes are always amazing, They have a daily selection of fresh cakes, muffins, and pastries.
You can sit inside or footpath tables with a view.
