Butler Court Guest Accommodation

Yvonne is a wonderful host! She greeted us warmly, made sure we had a close and safe parking spot, and provided great tips on the best the town has to offer. The room was big, bright, sparkling clean, and very comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the town, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. We highly recommend Butler Court.

Great stay at Butler's Court. It's perfectly located, an easy walk to everything. Room was spotless with attention to details to make the stay comfortable. Breakfast in-room included yogurt,cereal,fruit, fresh bread,ample supply of drip or instant coffee or tea. Yvonne was very helpful in pointing out great stuff to do. Had a great time. Highly recommend!!

Great find. Centrally located, lose to restaurants and sites. Yvonne and John were great, giving us suggestions and accommodating to our needs. Room was comfortable and clean. Enjoyed a in room continental breakfast that was healthy and filling. In room fridge. Would recommend staying here.

John & Yvonne were most gracious hosts (& proprietors) of this gem of a family-run lodging establishment. It is located close to all major Kilkenny attractions (castle, restaurants, pubs, train station, shopping center & regional bus stop). Great value for money, too!

Absolutely wonderful B&B! The accommodation is centrally located - castle just around the corner, easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and sights. The rooms are lovely, clean and quiet. The owners are amazing. So helpful and kind! Yvonne met us at check-in, and took the time to answer our questions about the area + provide recommendations. We also had an unexpected change in our plans, and Yvonne went far beyond our expectations to accommodate us, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her thoughtfulness truly made our stay exceptional. We will absolutely stay here on our next trip to Kilkenny, and can't recommend this lovely B&B enough.

A very nice B&B convenient to everything in Kilkenny, and right by the castle. Yvonne is the best! Room was clean and spacious. Loved the hooks in bathroom we could hang things from. Good continental breakfast provided in your room so you can eat when it is convenient for you! Small fridge in the room. Very good lighting and great shower. Only thing I would change is the hair dryer.

Very centrally located, so it's easy to walk to all parts of the town. Free car parking is available in an adjoining property. We stayed just one night and found the accommodation to be very comfortable. Rooms are very efficiently appointed with excellent use of space. Breakfast is provided as self service within the room itself, with a small fridge housing juice, milk, bread and a choice of cereal and fruit provided. Quick and efficient, but if one is looking for a hot cooked breakfast that is missing. The hostess is extremely friendly and competent and gave us excellent suggestions on seeing the town as well as restaurants to eat. We had one of our best dinners in Ireland over our 20 day holiday, at a nearby restaurant she recommended.

A quiet centrally-located B & B had a very clean room and comfortable space for my wife and I. It was easy to find and parking was a very short distance away. It has all the amenities we needed and the hot showers were soothing with great pressure. Breakfast was simple but great quality. Yvonne, our hostess, was gracious and very knowledgeable with where to go and where to eat.
