Customer service is always good, cakes are delicious 😋 that's only if you catch them fresh. Sometimes is pretty disappointing when you are craving Butterfly Cake Shop cakes and walk in and see the cakes in the show case looking so old like they've been on display for days or weeks

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because last time we bought a cake here the frosting tasted weird. It was off..not sure if it was expired or what but it tasted different and every other times there hasn't been a problem...besides that. These are the best cakes I've ever tasted, and that's saying a lot considering I'm not a big fan of cake because it's just too sweet. This place doesn't make them too sweet so they taste really good. They also sell cookies and desserts.

I didn't even want to give this place any stars.. big disappointment and waste of my money..this place is so tacky and cheap as in product cheap..I ordered a 1/2 dozen cupcakes. When I picked them up the lady didn't even put the cupcakes in cupcake holders. All the cupcakes fell on top of each other and slid all over the box. The cupcakes were ruined. Then the cupcakes had food coloring that stained everything and the presentaion was even worse. This place has bad service I don't recommend at all.

I use to buy all my party cakes here and recommend my guest to go purchase. The custom cakes I would order where about $100-$175. Well today I went in to order 3 cakes. I wanted 2 10' regular cakes and a 10' triple layer cake. I asked how much was a plain 8' cake and was told $29. Then I asked how much was a plain 10' and was told $65! How is that possible $36 difference for 2 inches! I asked more than once and the lady there wouldn't budge. So sad, I would not recommend this shop because they make up prices as they please.

I came here to place a cake order for my mom’s birthday party and the lady explained the prices for the different cakes they make. We agreed upon one and when she asked us what kind of decorations we wanted, I explained to her exactly what I was envisioning. The day of the party I go pick up the cake and because I was in a hurry I didn’t bother to check if everything was how I wanted it to be (which is my fault). I get to my house and when I take out the cake it was not decorated at all! No lettering, no decorations, nothing!! I was so upset but couldn’t go back to the bakery so I had to resort to some last minute average looking decorations that I put together.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came to order my nephews cake for his birthday photo shoot and not only was the cake not decorated how I asked and wanted but the fondant decorations were sliding off! I went home which was less than 10 minutes away from this bakery and when I checked it the cake was squished and the decorations were not in place. As soon as I got home I called and called, no answer. I called that same day from a different phone number and she answered blaming US for her mistakes.

The cakes are always delicious and beautiful, the unique frosting is whipped to perfection. This is a little cake shop but you can tell that every cake is made with love and a special attention to detail. I can’t recommend this bakery enough!

very disappointed with a cake i picked up today i was charged extra for fondant work when all they put was one sloppy ghost on top of the cake. It was for a halloween party but the cake was not cute and i feel overcharged for an ugly cake wont be returning here anymore and i was possibly theyr number one costumer. She said it would be ready at 1 got there at one wasnt ready she rushed the cake it was a fail it was the dryest tres leches cake ever!

I bought a slice of the pineapple cake as I was halfway through eating. There was a piece of green dish sponge inside the cake. I'm really disappointed because I really love this cake. The flavor is on point, but the dish sponge killed it.

I ordered a plain (no decorations, no border, no writing) chocolate+banana filling cake. I went in two days before my event and they were able to accommodate my order. The cake was absolutely delicious and the bread was moist. I added my own toppers and candles but all my guests loved it! Will definitely be ordering for future birthdays.

This is my third time purchasing a cake from here , I love their cakes! They taste amazing . I recently got my baby shower cake and everyone loved it I recommend vanilla with strawberries

Always order my kids cakes from here and they never disappoint !!! 100% recommended !!! Cakes are always moist never dry always has amazing flavor

Great cakes! Moist and not too sweet. Simply delicious!! Whatever the theme or style they will make it for you. My girls always love their cakes. For years now, we always get all our cakes here. Customer service is amazing, always friendly, helpful and very family oriented.

On March 25,2023 it was my granddaughters sweet 16. We ordered a cake from a person that makes them out of her house. When we got the cake it had collapsed. The party was 4 hours away and we had no cake. I walked into this bakery and I explained what happened, it was a long shot who's gonna make a cake in such short notice. I asked the lady if she can please help me and she went to speak to her baker the baker came out the first thing that they both said was, this cake was done at someone's house, I agreed then the baker said I can have a duplicate of this one by 5 pm. Surprisingly he called me at 4 to pick up the cake. The cake looked way better than the first one and the taste was amazing very moist. All my guest enjoyed it. I am very grateful that we were able to have a much prettier and amazing cake. Thank you so much.

Expectations V.S. reality. Giving two stars because I've had delicious cakes here before but the naked cake I ordered looked nothing like the pic I was shown. I did not order decorations on it's so I'm solely reviewing the cake itself without flowers and I'm very disappointed on its presentation. Maybe they can make other styles but stay away from the naked cake style at this shop not worth the price. I've attached pics for reference.

My family and I have been ordering our cakes from Butterfly for 15+years. The flavors and designs are always different, but the moist on the cake, along with the taste never disappoints. If you have a particular cake you want, they will accommodate your needs and wants. Definitely make sure to book in advance because they get pretty busy. ---- Mi familia y yo hemos estado ordenando nuestros pasteles de Butterfly por más de 15 años. My daughter loved her cake and it was one of the best cakes I personally have had in a long time. The bread was super moist, the icing was nice and light and not sweet plus the strawberries in the filling were fresh. I want to thank butterfly cake shop for being able to make this cute cake on such short notice and with everything going on in LA right now I really appreciate their great customer service. The shop was very clean and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a cake to stop by and support.

The best mango cake ever! The cake is decadent and the fruit is fresh! We also tried the chocolate cake and it was super good as well! We will definitely be back for more slices of cake!

I started going here a couple years ago. Their cakes use to be really good but I can't say the same now. I recently order a cake from here for my daughters birthday and decoration was horrible (blurry) Service has really went down here. Don't see myself order from here again

The only reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because I've only tried the raspberry cake (which actually gets 5 stars) I'm not sure about other flavors or items (cookies). I do wish she would take card or at least zelle. I walked in because I was craving something sweet and I got a slice of the raspberry cake good thing I had a few bucks cash on me because she said, no cards. The cake was so good, I returned a couple weeks later to buy a regular size cake but it was close. I did make my way back again after a few months and got the raspberry cake again and again it was so good.

The cake is very delicious! I order the mango cake, the flavors hit the spot, it's so delicious I could eat the entire cake by myself lol. The place is very clean. I did notice they have a refrigerator, and in it they have boxes with cakes that they buy from elsewhere, so I don't think they make the cakes themselves. Customer service was fast, but they don't make sure they have the wording correctly. I told them to write Evel(i)n, but she word it with a Y. She should gave ask, as there are many ways to write different names, she also didn't show me the wording, other than pack the cake in the box and charge me.

I walked in today to get a regular cake cause I saw how good the reviews were . First off they open at 11am I go up and the gate is closed until I say "hellloooo" and she comes and says "we're open at 11" like girl did you not check the clock ??? Anyways I walked in I was looking at the cakes and she says "we only accept cash" like why would you have that you accept cards on your page?? . Very bad customer service . Lucky I was having a good day or I would've gone off on that bitch .

I love this place!! The cake presentation always looks amazing and the deliciousness of the cream and sweetness is on point. The cakes are very low on the sweet side which is perfect since my bf and I have a low tolerance for super sweet cakes. This place balances the flavors quite nicely. I recommend the tres leches, pina colada, mango or raspberry cakes. Yes, I have done my research here and sampled them all. This place is a hidden gem.

I absolutely love this bakery. The cakes are always so moist. I ordered my cake with mango cream and mango felling. It's such a flavored cream, normally everyone takes of the cake frosting or what ever it has on top, but this one you eat it all !!!! Super good. Everyone goes to portos..... I go to Butterfly they are wayyyyy better !!

I live in the area and this bakery was previously owned by a different couple and their cakes and prices where great. I decided to give the new owners a chance because my cousin always buys her cakes here and she loves the cakes. So i ordered a cake for my nephew's 1st bday party. I presented a picture of the cake i wanted. The lady told me from the get go that she couldn't cover the entire cake with fondue because it would cost over $200 so i said is fine but i want the rest of the decoration in fondue. She came down to $180 which is still a lot but i didnt have time to look for other bakeries. I left a $40 deposit and paid the balance during the week. The day of the party i picked up the cake and I was disgusted with the cake. The simplest thing of the cake which was the banner looked like crap. Even my daughter can make a better banner out of playdough. I do not recommended this bakery for custom cakes.

Honestly don't know where to start from this is the best cake shop I've been In so far in south central. I always order my cakes from here and also recommend all my friends and family to do as well. The cakes are so delicious very good quality always moist and flavorful cakes. The lady who works here is always in a very good mood I enjoy coming here to get my cakes for any ocation...

I have been living down the street from this location for quite some time and never made it in. The cakes are beautiful and the owners are super friendly. Although I didn't order my cake here I do plan on coming back.

I did not like how the cake turned out. I tried getting a rams picture on the cake and it did not come out the way I wanted to. I was really discouraged about that. This is the second time the lady has done the cake and the first time she did it, it was amazing. I come the following year and it looked horrible on top. The only reason I give her two stars it is because the cake tasted great! Other than I will not be coming back. If you want a simple cake then this is the place but if you want a more detailed cake. I suggest to avoid.

I was skeptical about the cakes but I recently had two different cakes from 2 different parties. They both ordered from this place. I have to say that cake had a wonderful home feeling and taste to it. I fell in love with the raspberry cake. I will never go to another bakery for cake.

This cake shop almost ruined my wedding. I made an order a month before. I paid them ahead of time. The only lady there agreed to deliver. A day before my wedding at 1pm she called me telling me she couldnt deliver or anyone of her staff. I was really upset that she didn't give me enough time to figure something out. Her husband treated me really bad. He told me my money didn't matter because they had tons of customers. They ended up canceling my order because they couodnt deliver 10 mins away from them. This all happened a day before my wedding!!!!! This place is the worst! No customer service skills. They don't deserve 1 star!

Best mango cake ever. They staff was very nice and helpful. The prices are fair. You won't regret coming here. The mango cake is a must try.

I am only giving it 2 stars because the taste of the flavor was good. Other than that, the appearance was horrible. The taste was pretty generic. I wish it could've been better. The baker did not know how to drizzle my cake and made a mess of it. She had the audacity to only discount $10 from my balance. First and last time I order a cake here.

Their cakes are sooooo goooood , my favorite is cajeta, we always order our birthday cakes for work from this place and they never disappoint.

I been coming to this bakery for many years since the taste and quality has always been good till now! I'm very disappointed I order my godson's birthday cake here, the owner/baker recommended to use a print picture on the cake for better quality and although it was an additional price to get this printed I agreed to pay for it since I know when it comes to quality you get what you pay for. I wasn't able to pick up the cake myself, I was At work when I showed up to the birthday party and saw the cake i was so disappointed and embarrassed the colors were totally washed out the black & white on the checkers & name looked green, all the colors were off. I called the owner to seek a solution and her answer was to bring in the cake, when we were in the middle of the party, I obviously wasn't able to do that since it was already late and the kids wanted cake. I sent her the pictures so she could see how the cake looked, I'm still waiting on a response I know there is nothing we can do the party is over now, but I was expecting at least an apology and the extra money I paid for the printing of the pictures. We sang happy birthday and cut the cake, the cake tasted good, but I'm still very upset since I didn't get what I paid for.

Cakes are delicious in every flavor! Pinacolada is my favorite. Frosting flavors are so good you got to lick your fingers.

I like their cakes, they're pretty good and nice. The lady who works there it's pretty honest, she let's you what she can do or not... plus I love the neatness and how clean they're.

Amazing cakes!! Their cream frosting is A-MA-ZING!! I always go last minute to order cakes and they ALWAYS accommodate me. So glad I found them!! The Rasberry Cream Cake is A Must Try!!

Both mango cake and piñacolada are amazing very delicious and fluffy especially the icing I love the chunks in the filling also they have great service the lady was so nice
