Butterful & Creamorous

Most delicious spot!!! The smell alone pulls you in from the street. I usually only go in if there’s no line because it’s almost always packed. So many amazing sweet options to choose from. The savory selection is a bit limited though, especially if you’re just looking for a simple plain cheese filling. Still totally worth it.

Small bakery tucked in quiet high-end neighborhood. Bit pricey but croissant with topping and bread is delicious. Limited amount of seating but the unique decor is a plus!

Stumbled upon this bakery, what a gem! The pistachio tart and strawberry yogurt crustroll was baked to perfection. We love it and highly recommend this place!

I first chanced upon this bakery in Beijing, and was totally blown away by its delicious pastries and the wide assortment. When I came to Seoul, I immediately listed this as a must-visit bakery. Unfortunately, the bakery in Seoul was a huge disappointment. Nothing we ordered was spectacular (7 of us, each ordered 1-2 pastries plus coffee). The salted bread that I had was a little tough and dry. It wasn’t what I expected for something that was fresh from the oven that morning. Nothing stood out. In my brother’s words - one of the worst he has had.

Loved the one in Shanghai much more, this one was small and so-so.

I do not recommend this place for foreigners. Me and my friends ordered drinks and I said “for here” and I said “여기” as well to avoid misunderstandings. We received our drinks in a take out cup and the staff told us to go outside because take out cups are not allowed in the restaurant. I told him that I ordered for “여기“ but he didn’t care so we left.

I didn’t know that this cafe was in our hotel, but I’m really happy it is. The croissant with kaya and butter is one of the best kaya products I have ever had. Will definitely come back here!
