If you're in the mood for a little European flair in the heart of Tokyo, Buvette is a lovely stop worth checking out. Just a 1-minute walk from Hibiya Station (and 5 minutes from Yūrakuchō), this charming spot sits on the ground floor of the elegant Tokyo Midtown Hibiya complex—right next to the cinema and shopping area.
The café has both indoor and outdoor seating, each offering a warm, Western-inspired atmosphere that feels effortlessly chic. Whether you're sipping inside or people-watching on the terrace, it’s easy to feel transported somewhere far from the bustle of central Tokyo.
We tried their famous chocolate mousse, and it absolutely lived up to the hype—rich, indulgent, and perfectly airy. The drinks were pretty standard, but the dessert stole the show for us.
While a little on the pricey side, visiting Buvette at least once for the ambiance alone feels like a worthwhile splurge. They also serve savory dishes, and the nighttime outdoor seating definitely deserves a return visit under the city lights.
