This is a review of its clearance as the store shuts down. Some great deals on diaper bags and some stroller accessories but otherwise, prices are much better online at other retailers. Any top brand stroller or equipment is only 10% marked down. Lower tier equipment does have decent mark downs. I wouldn’t make a trip out just to find any deals but if you’re in the area, there could be something here for you

We went in for a baby registry consultation specifically for furniture and baby gear. Andrea was so helpful when I was looking for where to go. I love that they had different people helping with each department. We started with Reinada who was fabulous at informing us about the cribs and dressers. She gave us so much information on safety, what each brand offers and taking us around the showroom to the things that we were specifically looking for! I cannot be happier with her level of knowledge on the different cribs. She spent a good amount of time explaining the different mattresses so we left with options. Especially for mattresses that would meet our needs which I never would have thought about. An amazing consultant through and through, cannot recommend her enough. We will be back and hope to meet her there in case we have more questions. For our stroller needs, Suzy was the perfect person! She heard what we wanted and took us straight to the perfect stroller. She made sure to bring the stroller down for us and walked us through every aspect. Showing us how much the stroller travel system has to offer. She sold us at the very first thing but kept showing us more. We went in nervous at how overwhelming it was going to be but she did great! 😊 Overall we loved our experience and will come back for more! Super easy experience!

I have to say that the customer service we received from Joe is one of the very best ever!!! Joe was patient and super knowledgeable. He had answers to all our questions, whether it was concerning gliders, cribs, strollers, or anything else. He is a true gem and although the store is eventually closing, I hope the company will find a place for him. Amazing customer service, and although I rarely post reviews, I just had to in this instance. Fantastic experience!

Google
We had an excellent experience this past weekend. We were looking for different essentials and the associates of the store that we spoke with were knowledgeable and patient with us. Monica was wonderful and cheerful. Joe Cluen was the superstar however. His product knowledge is impressive as was his patience with us and our many questions. He seems so willing and eager to help. We were very happy with every aspect of our experience and would recommend this Buy Buy Baby.

Google
buybuyBaby was a delight to work with! We ended up having to wait for a dresser to be restocked, but the company kept in contact with us the whole time at least once a week until we received it. They were also super helpful and all our furniture was delivered in perfect condition!

Google
This review is strictly about the experience that I had with Jessie! Jessie is so knowledgeable, helpful and honest. Decided to stop buy this store because I was in the area and was able to decide on and purchase a stroller. Totally happy I took the time to stop in. Saved me hours of YouTube research.

Had no idea buybuy BABY reopened under new ownership! Walked in to a clean store with plenty of inventory and friendly & welcoming staff ready to help. My wife and I live in Kingstowne and would have welcomed the news of the reopening as it’s nice to be able to see, feel and try out items we need for our infant son. Marketing needs to spread the word out to the local communities better. Would hate to see this store close again!

Google
Ordered a toddler railing and it didn’t ship for over a month. When I reached out to customer service they went above and beyond finding out the issue (manufacturer shipping issue) and communicating with me every step of the way until my item was delivered. I’m very happy with how they handled my transaction even with the hiccups. Thank you!

Stacy D.

Yelp
Will be very sad if this store closes in the bankruptcy, hope they find a buyer that will keep stores open. There are very few physical stores focused on baby and toddler items. Visited this store about 3 different times and I've purchased many of our big baby items here. Love the customer service and being able to see items in person.

Randy W.

Yelp
Not sure how to rate this place so I'll just say it's a cute clean store filled with lots of baby outfits, toys, etc. I give it 4-stars simply on options and discounts that offered today up to 50% off on lots of items. I took a photo of the Under Armour (UA) wall as I tend to be an UA fan and wear lots of their polos and clothes. Maybe when I have a son or feel like buying some of these for my nephews. Plenty of options for a daughter/nieces too.

Phong L.

Yelp
We love coming to this location, the staff is always super friendly and helpful. We went in to try out some strollers& seats, Joe from the store was an expert and gave us a lot of good insights. The store has a lot of floor models if you are just looking to test out some products.

Trevor D.

Yelp
NOT CLOSED - this store has re-opened! Staff is fantastic! Wife and I are expecting our first - a little girl in March. I wanted to get some hands-on experience with strollers and car seats - these things aren't cheap and there aren't many places you can play around with this equipment in person. Here, you can "test drive" strollers like UppaBaby, Doona and Cybex through more value-oriented models like Graco. We wanted to see and feel the difference between a Chicco Corsa LE and UppaBaby Vista V2. Was able to practice folding/unfolding both, pairing with various car seats, getting a sense of weight and feel. Two of the gentlemen working provided great information on both the strollers and associated car seats. There's also a huge selection of high chairs - more than I was ever even aware existing :). We so appreciated the help we got that I asked if the team member who worked with us if they were on commission. My father was in sales for over 40 years, and so I know what it is like when you work with a customer only to see them buy elsewhere. Remarkably, the team is not on commission here, which is a bonus in that it lowers the pressure to buy or commit. In fact, we were told multiple times - go home, sleep on it, come back with questions, take some literature. Only critiques (more "constructive criticisms") are that the case goods furniture selection is a little "Wayfair"-y for our tastes (Pottery Barn Kids, this is not), and the store has liminal space 90s mall vibes from being closed and re-opened. Honestly, though, there aren't many places you can find new baby and kids things in the WMA, so the fact that there's a nice team happy to help is icing on the cake. Looking forward to going back soon!

Jamie M.

Yelp
Good thing buy buy baby just re opened, there are many selections however not us much as before. Such a Photo Booth which now is no longer existing, and baby cribs and seats are limited. Most of the clothes option are on sale.

Rhy F.

Yelp
I was so eager to check this store out. I found it to be a pretty cute spot for a vast variety of baby stuff. Depending on what you are buying the prices can be better at other places. I came across a large number of Carter's and Gerber baby clothing, in which I have a Carter's near me so it defeats the purpose of visiting this store. I did come across some unique snacks/drinks for expectant moms which was cool. Keep in mind - a lot of other competitors offer new moms who create a baby registry a welcome gift, this franchise does not. Overall, I'm not eager to revisit.

Roza H.

Yelp
We went to the store just to look and get an idea for what we should put on the registry. We met Joe and he was exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up buying some of our bigger items that day. We returned to the store many times and everyone we encountered were very nice and eager to help. I'm generally an online shopper but I'm glad I went in because of all the information we received as first time parents.

Teresa M.

Yelp
The Five Stars are for one amazing sales assistant. However I can recall his name Ben Eric not sure. This young man took time to teach myself my daughter and many others how to install an infant car seat. He even went outside and showed my daughter how to install and remove the infant car seat from her vehicle. Not only that but he also showed us other devices to assist us in carrying the car seat and lifting the handle. It's been years since I have seen amazing customer service as what this gentleman did. He also checked to see if the car seat we wanted was available it wasn't so he called another store to check if they had one and they did just for us. He definitely needs to be rewarded..He did it with such grace and joy and he was totally genuine he wasn't rushing us at all. Just a absolutely amazing man. I sincerely thank you sir.

Gloria S.

Yelp
If you are looking to buy a stroller or car seat for your baby...Joe is the man. He was VERY informative!

Donald P.

Yelp
I hate stores like this. Throw the word "BABY" on everything then instantly mark it up 50% and that's what this store is all about. For example... Reg. sun shade = $2 BABY sun shade = $3 Reg. cotton balls = $1 BABY cotton balls = $1.50 Reg. digital thermometer = $5 BABY digital thermometer = $7.50 Reg. diapers = $30 BABY diapers = $45 You think I'm being facetious, but I'm serious. It has something to do with 3rd party consumer product testing. Anyway I would prefer to do my baby shopping at big department stores rather than big specialty stores, unfortuately the wife doesn't...but the best part about this store is that they honor those Bed Bath and Beyond coupons. Come to think of it, Babies R Us also price matches against those coupons as well. SO DON"T THROW AWAY THOSE BED BATH & BEYOND COUPONS.

Gretchen F.

Yelp
Clean, generally well-stocked, and with friendly staff, you can't ask too much more from a spot like this! Their inventory is truly expansive, and it's a great place to go if you're looking to see models of strollers and carseats, swings, etc, in-person. Buy Buy Baby also almost ALWAYS has 20% off coupons floating around (they are owned by Bed, Bath & Beyond), so you can usually snag quite a deal even on expensive items. Down a star just because on my most recent visit they seemed like they were out of stock of the car seat model I was looking for, and I had to hunt all over the store to find an employee to ask questions, but I've had plenty of 5-star experiences here in the past.

Harriet Y.

Yelp
Horrible experience with this store. I bought a $400 high chair for my daughter but it was delivered to me and not my daughter. They won't do anything to rectify the situation and basically nobody cares. Never again will I shop with this horrible company. I have been lied to, hung up on, given wrong information, and worse.

Stephen C.

Yelp
This Buy Buy Baby is subpar. We've been shopping here for weeks in preparation for our little one. We will no longer be shopping here. Our last visit 10/1/17 we purchased a mattress pad cover for our pack'n'play. After we got home and started to throw it in the wash we realized we'd been sold a USED one. Not used once, not gently used, but like whole childhood used. You can see from the wear and tear in the photo how much this cover must have been washed due to the fading (words are gone). Partially our own fault for not taking it out of the packaging and checking I guess, but i've never had to do that before in my life but I guess there a first for everything. Clearly this stores customer service does not inspect products being returned or they just resell used products at full price. If we wanted a roughly used one we could have gone to the Goodwill. Either way shame on Buy Buy Baby, which is now truly Bye Bye Baby. I'm not surprised though, the customer service desk at this location is always backed up because they refuse to use the actual checkout lanes. This typically has most customers confused at checkout or when returning items. It also tends to back the line up in a narrow space where there is often foot traffic. The lighting very dim which makes the store feel very dingy. The bathroom is gross but what could be expected at a children's store. Reason I gave two stars is we purchased a chair for our nursery here, which came two weeks earlier than expected. Not the stores doing but nonetheless don't want to completely hate on Buy Buy Baby/Bed Bath and Beyond. They do send 20% coupons every week. Don't go here. Buy offline. Will not be returning.

Marcela B.

Yelp
I just dont know what to say. We notice more defects in our nursery furniture every day. I cant be the only one. Other than that, I love this store and bed bath and beyond and would give 5 stars to the latter! Update with further explanation: The thing is, I wouldn't buy any furniture from buy buy baby or bed bath and beyond. These guys are great for the other stuff. Do not buy anything that is delivered BY THEM on their WHITE GLOVE truck. We had planned to buy a kitchen table, 4 chairs, a book case and more even one more dresser for baby's room. Since I've discovered that every item they hand delivered me is ruined...(the crystal knobs on one dresser we got are all severely fractured inside from being bumped around on their truck. Did the truck crash that day? Do they just not care? The crib was also cracked. When you're pregnant you may not notice all these things. I would have needed to observe all on my hands and knees with my glasses on. I didn't. Now my baby is wanting to pull up and open the drawers and so I am right there at eye level. I cannot allow her to on the dresser bc I afraid it will break completely and cut her. It's messed up.) I will have to replace all ou lr nursery furniture in a couple years tops. Be warned. I dont know where else you can buy this stuff as far as cribs but anywhere else is better.

QueenDeeva D.

Yelp
First time and last time here, not only at this location but at Buy buy Baby in general! Their products are waaay over priced! I found the same exact bedding set for $40 less, Tommie tippee bottles for $16 less, and the stroller I wanted for $100 less! I have no idea why the things in this store are so outrageous but y'all can have it... This location in particular parking sucks and the store is cluttered! Not a good experience at all... 2 stars for the customer service I received when looking for a stroller!

Nomin D.

Yelp
You will find tons and tons of stuff here for pre and post pregnancy and of course for the baby. 1) aisles are really crowded and has very little space to maneuver around with their carts. But strollers seems to work better but then it's hard to get bulky stuff (ie diapers, wipes) 2) they have maternity clothes as well as post pregnancy belts etc. 3) things are little more expensive than other baby item retailers however you can use bed bath and beyond unexpired coupon here which makes it little justifiable. 4) returns and exchanges are hassle free however the customer service reps are not that friendly at all.

Kelly B.

Yelp
Buyer beware. If you purchase a car seat or stroller here, they don't fix, exchange or accept returns but will instead require you to reach out to the manufacturer of the item.

Laura W.

Yelp
My brother gifted me with several Buy Buy Baby giftcards, so my husband and I decided to drive to the physical location and check it out to see what they had in store. The store, owned by bed, bath, and beyond, is well organized and it is easy to find each section. What was extremely difficult here was getting any assistance. It was very Hunger Games-ish in whomever seems to throw the biggest temper tantrum gets assistance first. At least that's what I saw and experienced. We had one simple question-did this particular pack and play come in a different color in store? The first woman we approached for help walked right past us to a customer who was throwing a hissy fit. The second guy we approached was interrupted by a couple while he was talking to us with their questions who then proceeded to get huffy when he told them he would be with them in a minute. Rude, much?! Perhaps this is why I prefer to shop online because I do not have to then deal with any individuals who believe their wants/needs are more important than my own. Anyways, we got our answer (no they didn't have it in another color in store), so we picked up a couple of little things and bought the pack and play we wanted online. It was nice to see it in-person in the store, but I would trade that for a calmer shopping experience. The prices here were significantly more than on Amazon (or even Target) for the same products. Quite honestly, if I didn't have several hundred dollars worth of gift cards to Buy Buy Baby, I would buy the same stuff on Amazon at a reduced price. Parking was also nightmarish since this is a busy plaza. Now that I have been here, I do not see myself returning (also because we have now bought all the big ticket items we will need), and I will use the remaining gift cards from the comfort of my own home.

Sean K.

Yelp
A fantastic way to get hands-on with products before you buy them. My wife and I are expecting and were really satisfied with the experience there. In particular, I want to call out Joe. He was swamped with people looking for information but made us feel like we were the only folks in the store. He had a depth of knowledge and information that backed up really helpful recommendations. Because he had so much information at his disposal, he was also able to help us think through some of the trade-offs. As a result, I think we're much closer to buying some larger ticket items that are a great fit for us. Is it weird that I'm looking forward to going back to a baby supply store?

Kimi S.

Yelp
Now that I am a busy mother, I am a big fan of buying things online but when making big purchases such as strollers and car seats it's nice to be able to look at items in person and talk through the buying decision with someone. I've been in the store more times I can count over the past year and a half and honestly the level of service I have had has not been great. The lines are always backed up, the coupon acceptance policies waver from person to person. When I ask questions about strollers, baby carriers or car seats it's obvious that the salespeople would much rather be someplace else. That is....until I met Joe. This morning we were about to walk out of Buy Buy Baby defeated since no one was willing to help us test out car seats and the person answering our questions seemed less than enthused to talk to us. On a whim, my husband decided to see if Joe could help us and immediately turned our frowns upside down. This guy is seriously the mayor of Buy Buy Baby. He said hello to everyone in his path and gave everyone a big smile. He answered all of our questions without wavering and without hesitation. It was obvious this guy loved his job (and he even told us that many times while we were talking). He allowed us to take the car seats to our car to see if they would fit and he made sure that he could find the best deal for us in the store. Even if I could have found a better deal online, I would have still purchased with Joe because his level of service was superior...and I'm pretty sure he's not getting commission or anything...he just genuinely seemed like a helpful personable guy. If Buy Buy Baby had an angel, Joe would be it. In the past my experiences at this store would be 3 stars at best, but Joe gets five stars all around from me!

Tim C.

Yelp
Great experience. Shout out to Gabe who explained everything we needed to know regarding strollers and pack n plays. Gabe was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and his recommendations led to several registry purchases.

Viva C.

Yelp
I've had nothing but positive experiences here at this store. The staff has always been friendly and helpful when I've roamed the aisles looking for certain products, sat down to order baby furniture, returned items, and gone through the checkout line. With the exception of buying items at the click of a button on Amazon, I've always been pleased to find the top-rated items on Amazon are also found inside the store. Whenever I've been uncertain of a product online, I've usually had the chance to find it in the store to test/feel out prior to purchasing. The convenience of Buy Buy Baby and its selection can't be beat. The 20% off coupons that you get bombarded with via Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby come in handy for big ticket purchases. On Veteran's Day, they offered a 25% discount off our entire purchase - which was a phenomenal deal especially since we made a huge purchase for baby furniture. The exterior parking lot is cramped, but we've never had a problem finding a spot. The store's convenience in the strip mall is handy if you want to get something for your pet, grocery shop at Trader Joe's, or grab a bite to eat!

Sarah P.

Yelp
We are expecting our first baby and have been doing a ton or research to determine what to buy. We originally went to buy buy baby to try out the stroller we had our eye on before buying. It was great to actually try to switch out the car seat, collapse and feel the weight of the stroller, etc. The main thing that made me glad we went though was the sales associate Joe. Despite the extensive internet research my husband and I have done he provided information on both the strollers and car seat safety that we hadn't seen online and I'm so glad we now know. He was honest, helpful, patient, and incredibly well informed. Would 100% recommend coming in, especially for new parents, find Joe!!

Be C.

Yelp
Prepartum and postpartum, I have been to this store more than a handful of times. I can't even count at this point so this review is overdue. I got all my nursery furniture from this store. The employees are knowledgeable about the different car seats, high chairs, mattresses... the works. Its like going to Best Buy for babies. The people in their sections are very knowledgeable about the items in the store which helps when you've been on the internet for hours trying to make a smart purchase. I think the people that work there know me by face now, if not by name lol. Take all your coupons in there and go to work.

Claudia J.

Yelp
All first time parents should check out Buy Buy Baby. Customer Service It's exceptional. I randomly selected to do my baby registry here. I noticed that BBB was a regularly selected by my other mom friends so I followed the crowd. It worked out well. Baby registry parents are provided a registry appointment where you meet with a specialist who will assist parents with their selections. It was awesome! Our specialist wasn't pushy, offered advice when asked, walked us through the story so we could get to know it, and gave us pointers for afterwards. Our appointment was an extremely positive experience. It was just want we needed as expecting parents. I have also found every other customer service experience to be equally as supportive It's nice. Selection This is a baby super story. Come here to get an idea... Shop here if you need prefer a one stop shop... Coupons BBB and Bed Bath and Beyond are the same company. When you are shopping here, use one of their 20% off coupons. Otherwise, I have found BBB to be a tad more expensive than Target or Babies R Us. Get Overwhelmed Easily? Don't sweat it. BBB's website is extensive too. You are review and research prior or after making a purchase.

Damon B.

Yelp
I dreaded coming here, the name alone is offensive to me. But it is a fantastic store that has just about every baby item in one space! I will certainly be back! The employees are patient and nice, and incredibly helpful. Want to know what lasts the longest? Ask them. Can't decide between this stroller and that? Ask. They know the products pretty well. I overheard them saying they were a bit understaffed when I was there, but I didn't feel the effects. So I rate them as excellent! The products trend toward high end. It's the only place I've seen all the strollers I was considering in one place. Do they have everything? Of course not, there's just so much you can stock. But unless you are looking for something obscure, this is a really great place to start. We registered at Target and that's basically an online shopping experience because those stores are bereft of any products and if they have them they're broken. Buy Buy Baby was a joy by comparison. I really liked going here! There's nothing interesting to say about the strip mall where this store is located out in Springfield. It's kind of bleh. But I was really blown away by this store. It's a great place!

Anne D.

Yelp
Customer service at its finest which is something you never see in large retail stores! If you have any issues at all, the team here really goes above and beyond for their customers. We would like to give specific shout outs to the team leaders/managers: Joe and Gabe who have made our car seat buying experience so smooth! We are currently awaiting arrival on baby #3 thus needing to add a new car seat. Unfortunately, we needed to upgrade and buy 3 new car seats to accommodate the tight SUV space. Despite being a 40 min drive for us, we decided to go to BBB b/c you can "try on" car seats in your car before purchasing and we did not want to do any guessing. The initial associate (whose name I forgot, I'm so sorry!) was fantastic and helped us lug out 3 different seats to try. At that time, baby wasn't due for a few more months so we purchased 2 new convertible seats and planned on adding the infant seat later on. Fast forward to receiving the infant seat: to our surprising dismay, it did not fit! We belatedly realized we did not take the car seat base into consideration when we were size fitting! Since we still had the receipt, we went back to BBB to see if there was any way we could exchange it for a different seat. Joe was wonderful throughout the experience! He ensured us that our needs and satisfaction was of the utmost importance to him. Despite some scuffing on the base (due to us trying to figure out the bet way to fit it in our car) he was going to make an exception as long as we came back with the warranty card and manual that was forgotten at home. Long story short, we found the missing manual but realized the warranty card was mailed out! Thinking that we were going to have to suck it up and just buy a new car seat anyway, we called Joe to give him the update. He again impressed us by saying that he would call the brand to see if they would make an exception....which ultimately they did! Despite knowing his store was going to take a hit, he allowed us to get the full credit! My husband and I are still floored! His colleague Gabe was just as wonderful as he was the one to ensure the exchange transaction went smoothly and personally helping us choose AND fit the new car seat that would fit our needs. BIG THANK YOU to Joe, Gabe and BBB for their exemplary customer service! We wish we were closer but this experience solidifies the commute is well worth it!

Sajie C.

Yelp
We came to buy buy baby intending to buy a stroller but felt very overwhelmed by all the choices. Lucky for us, we were greeted by an employee named, Joe, who was doing an information sessions for a few customers. He provided a ton of insight on all the strollers including the pros-and-cons of each. He never got tired and patiently answered questions, even repetitive ones. We happily left with a chicco stroller and quite honestly, we would have left empty handed it it wasn't for joe.

Yelp
I used to never want to go inside this place. The name was rather ominous (Buy Buy Baby? Sounds like bye bye baby....) And it's located in Springfield Plaza, which has an "interesting" mix of clientele. So what led me to this unappealing-sounding chain? My friend had a registry with them and it was conveniently on my route home from work. So I said, "eh, why not?" I'm glad I gave this baby emporium a shot. It is now, officially, my favorite place to go to for all baby needs. Walk past those automatic doors into serenity. None of the craziness of Babies R Us. It's clean, well-organized and even smells good. And it bears a startling resemblance, in terms of layout, with another famous chain, Bed Bath and Beyond. Duh! Same parent company. Makes complete sense. If you like your Bed Bath Beyond, then you'll like Buy Buy Baby, too. Everything is so easy to find, well-marked. The selection is extensive; I got everything from blankets to this innovation called a Pee Pee Tee Pee. (Imagine a common scenario when changing a baby boy.) Customer service was very helpful and patient. The sales manager personally assisted me in my search for items listed on my friend's registry and quickly checked their reliable database to find out what was in-stock. She then proceeded to lead me to all the available items. All items for sale looked brand-new. (Seems obvious, but some stores are mighty guilty of selling obviously returned merchandise or crappy merchandise.) Prices aren't cheap, probably standard, but at least it's all there. You can always go here to get ideas first then try to find a deal elsewhere. Sometimes though, you just need a one-stop shop and to be done with it. Buy Buy Baby has everything under the sun for expectant parents and their little ones. If it saves you time, it doesn't need to save you money, right? ;)

Jason S.

Yelp
BuyBuyBaby's Furniture: Not worth the hype or extra expensive. We thought we'd get better quality and installation service by paying extra from BuyBuyBaby. Installers had no clue had to put together a simple dresser and crib. Worse installation & customer experience. Don't buy your baby furniture here.

Nicole P.

Yelp
Giving a 5 star review on a big box store is something I don't think I have ever done! But this buy buy baby is very nice. While the store itself is pretty average, the customer service we received while making our stroller and car seat purchase was 5 star worthy in my opinion. I am beating myself for not catching his name but he was so professional. The stroller we purchased (uppa baby in Hunter green) was not in stock (obviously because everyone and their mom wants this dang stroller haha). But he walked us through ordering it online and he had it shipped to our house. We are so excited to get our order here in the next few days! He was very knowledgeable and had great customer service. Overall, we enjoyed our shopping experience at this location. They have everything you could Need for baby!

A R.

Yelp
We came to compare car seats early on Saturday. They have a very nice selection and are also able to order items if they aren't in stock. They were very busy and didn't have enough staff to help everyone so after waiting around we decided to leave and try at a different time. Much later in the evening (after8:00) it wasn't busy and we got the help we needed to make a great choice. Tarrell was knowledgable and went over every aspect of each car seat. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and patiently. If you need help making a wise choice for a safe ride for your baby this is a good place to go - maybe don't go at a peak time and ask for Tarrell if you can. This store does price matching for other store prices and online prices. They offer a 20% coupon online but read the exclusions (some brands can't be discounted w the coupon). The prices on baby items here are on the high end but I think the variety in selection makes up for it. The store is easy to find, easy to park, and you can eat at one of the convenient places nearby when your done shopping.

Yelp
This is one of the best stores to shop for everything baby (or toddler) :) The sales people are just wonderful and take their time to educate you - strollers in our case! We were assisted by CJ and she spent over an hour walking us through all the different types of strollers and suggest a couple that would work best for us, given our lifestyle! They have a wide range of everything they sell and the price here is comparable to other stores too. And did I mention you can use your 20% coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond here too?

Yelp
Store manager called and spoke to me about the situation that occurred. Received a full refund. Sincerely apologized which was incredibly nice. She seemed amazing.

Yelp
Slower than death...AVIOD at all costs. Staff is lethargic and it's pure chaos ...people cutting in line . Employees DGAF....two thumbs DOWN!

Yelp
I went to purchase nursery furniture and was disappointed by the price... We needed up buying the last floor stock set of the Wyatt nursery crib and dresser. It was marketed as a deal since both were floor stock items and had some nicks on them. When I got home I realized that I could have purchased a brand new set, with no wear and tear, for the same price that I was charged in the store.

Yelp
Good selection of items, in particular strollers and gliders. However, one of the staff wasn't following good covid procedures. When we asked a question, she came closer than 6ft and was wearing her mask below her nose. It made us pretty uncomfortable with how the store overall was minimizing risks.

Yelp
I visited the store at 20 weeks pregnant and had some questions about registry items. A woman at the counter asked how far along I was. When I told her, she said "Oh, most women come in around 22 weeks. Try coming back later." She then turned her back to me and started chatting with a coworker. It was an odd exchange, especially after reading how much people enjoyed the service they received. Pros: - The store is large and carries some of the higher end lines. - You can use your Bed Bath & Beyond coupon for 20% off any one item. Cons: - Horrible customer service. - Overpriced. You get a completion discount of 15% off every item on your registry when you sign up for Amazon Mom. I get the same access to higher end items, and saved hundreds of dollars once you factor in the big ticket items. My advice: visit the store to test out strollers, gliders, etc... Keep your expectations low, and buy online to save money.

Yelp
Rhiana was exceptionally nice and helpful! She went out of her way to help us with some registry/shipping issues and took care of everything. We were very happy with her service- will definitely come back!

Yelp
This place is awesome. My wife and I are new to the baby having world and they've made things a little less daunting. Baby stuff seems to be expensive anywhere but we bought some Peg Perego car seats and the price was as good as we've seen. The staff will leave you alone if you look like you're just looking around but they don't ignore you and if you ask a question you'd better be prepared for more than an answer, you're going to get a lesson. Tyrell over in car seats gave us a great run down of car seats....never met a marine more enthused about car seats. It was awesome. We pass 4 or 5 baby stores to get to Buy Buy baby and we'll definitely be heading back. They offer discounts if you're having multiples!!!

Yelp
Impressive selection of furnishings, carriers and strollers! What surprised me most was I saw completely different items from the other "big box" baby store (i.e. UPPAbaby and Carters). The staff assisting me with registry was friendly and knowledgeable. The prices were reasonable but as with the other "big box" be sure to clip those coupons as every little bit helps. The one uncomfortable aspect of the store is the floor to ceiling displays can feel overwhelming (on the flip-side, how else does a store pack in the maximum selection?).

Yelp
I don't understand why a previous reviewer called this place serene, compared to the "craziness" of Babies R Us. I was immediately overwhelmed by this claustrophobic place, and good luck trying to navigate a shopping cart (with an infant in a car seat perched atop it) through the narrow aisles. The rounders of clothing are too close together. Hell, everything is too close together. Be ready to knock stuff onto the floors, back up because someone is in the aisle you want to go down or find another route to get to the same point because the cart won't fit. I did not know the connection to Bed Bath & Beyond but it totally makes sense now: this place has floor to ceiling shelves and racks of product just like BB&B (...as if anyone can reach for anything higher than 6 feet, but what the hey? It looks good, right?). Prices were maybe...maybe...a little cheaper than BRU, but I wasn't really looking at any big ticket items like strollers, furniture, etc.so for all I know they might be a better deal. Frankly, I don't think I could have stuck around long enough to handle that experience. I also can't imagine shopping here with a toddler or more than one kid. I'd have to pack a flask just to get through it. By the time we left this store, my baby was crying and I wanted to cry. It makes me even more thankful for Amazon. P.S. I hate the name, too. It's like an unfunny joke they're playing on consumers, and it makes me not want to give them any of my money.

Yelp
This place has got everything you could possibly want in a baby store. Clothes, Breast Pumps, all different types of bottles, baby toys, cribs, strollers, bassinets, and more galore! They EVEN got a pump/nursing room. Not that I'd really need to nurse or pump while I'm here but they have one which is pretty cool. They accept Bed, Bath Beyond (hence the BBB relation) coupons with no problems. The difference is Buy Buy Baby needs to have the the coupons by the expiration date. Despite this, I still like Bed Bath Beyond better as a store because of the customer service, the hospitality, and the return and exchange polices of the store. Not sure why it isn't across the board. I've had problems at Buy Buy Baby whereas I did not with Bed Bath Beyond. The staff is usually nice but sometimes they don't know where things are in the store and just walk to the aisle looking for the items you requested. Even though you just told them you were looking there and didn't find it. All that being said, I like to buy my baby items from Amazon. There is never a hassle with returning from there.

Yelp
I was very impressed with this Baby Superstore. My husband and I drove out to Springfield to take a peek since they had one of the cribs there that I wanted to see. Their quality of their merchandise is much higher than Babies R Us. The customer service was excellent. The sales associates really knew their merchandise. This store very much has a Bed Bath and Beyond feeling because itt is owned by them. My husband and I wish their were more locations...if there were we would have probably have registered there!

Yelp
This place is a little out of our way compared to the Babies R Us, but this place has better stuff. It has more higher end products. So if you want a Bugaboo stroller, or Uppababy or Stokke, you can find them here. You can't at Babies R Us. The store seems to be cleaner and newer looking than the local Babies R Us also. I think the service here is pretty good. And most of the staff are well-knowledged in the products. Every time I've been here we' ve been treated well and quickly. And don't forget your Bed Bath and Beyond coupons. They take those here.

Yelp
My husband and I finally decided to give Buy Buy Baby a chance. We needed to purchase items that only Buy Buy Baby carried. To make a long story short, we purchased items at the store, online, that were recommended by one of their sales associates. When the items finally arrived, my husband and I were upset because it was the wrong adapter and Buy Buy Baby is out of the area for us. We decided to go back to Buy Buy Baby to either return/exchange the item or for someone to help put the adapter together. THANK GOODNESS for Terrell. He was very informative and helped my husband and I figure out the right adapter needed for our stroller. Jenique, was also great! Together, they showed us how to use the car seat we purchased, how to put together and take apart the adapter and how to use our stroller. Thanks, Terrell & Jenique!

Yelp
If you are expecting this is a perfect store to visit as it has so many options for anything you could possibly need for your baby. We had 3 staff assist us in the nursery section and car seat and stroller section. I am grateful for the top notch customer service from each member who assisted us but most for Joe. If you have questions about the best car seat and stroller for you, Joe will paint you a picture of all your options and why different brands have different features. I left well educated and so appreciative of his knowledge, time and expertise in this field. He even went out of his way to honor a discount for us since we are military. He should be promoted as we will always come back to this store for the impeccable customer service.

Yelp
Since when did wooden baby blocks cost $40?!?! One of my initial thoughts walking through here: I guess I have a lot to learn before I start a family. Buy Buy Baby is like Babies R Us, but with a (slightly) more upscale appeal (such as those $40 baby building blocks from Germany). From what I could tell (going off of a friend's registry), the store is well-stocked and the sales associates are knowledgeable, though sparse (although I never got to talk to one as the few on the floor were deeply engrossed in conversations and consultations with anxious parents about the best stroller/car seat/baby jumper/etc). One complaint is that in order to get a gift registry printed, you have to have the sales associate at the registry counter print it - none of those quick self-print kiosks that other establishments have. Ooo - free gift wrapping, too!

Yelp
The first time I walked in here I nearly had a panic attack. It's MASSIVE. As a first time mom, I had absolutely no idea where to start. I walked out without buying a thing. I returned to the Rockville store (the flagship location) a few weeks later with a friend who had her little one 8 months ago and she grabbed one of the scanner guns up front and whisked me around the store instructing me on everything I'll need. What a relief. They have an incredible selection on everything from cribs, rockers, bottles, diapers, clothes, swaddling, formula, strollers...you name it, they've got it. The great thing about BBB is that they really do have everything you could possibly ever need for your sweet little one and the prices are pretty competitive (though consider yourself warned -- EVERYTHING for babies is 10x more expensive than I ever dreamed possible). We ended up purchasing our crib here along with lots of other little odds and ends, and also had a really nice experience setting up our baby registry. I've found the staff to be mostly friendly, somewhat informative -- but overall, kind of hit or miss. Save yourself a big hassle (if possible) and avoid shopping here on a weekend. You'll have a much better experience during the week. Before concluding this review, I have to throw this out there...Is it just me, or does anyone else hate the name of this place? Does not evoke thoughts of a sweet snuggly baby but rather a crazed, new parent buying spree. Horrible. Nonetheless, I have dropped at least a full paycheck in this place so as distasteful as I find the name of this store, it apparently is appropriate! Good luck...you're going to need it!
