Fun fact: It’s pronounced “Bouja” Bar, which means “hole” in the wall – and that’s exactly what it feels like. Tucked right into the cliffs of Dubrovnik’s Old Town walls, this bar is all about the location.
Don’t expect a classic cocktail experience – drinks are mostly served in cans (like iced coffee, spritz, or gin & tonic – where they literally give you the gin and the tonic separately, no lemon or garnish). It’s cash only, so make sure to bring some cash with you.
Despite not being a traditional bar in terms of service, Buza is an unforgettable spot thanks to its stunning sea views and direct access to the water. People go here to relax, swim, watch the sunset, and soak in the unique cliffside atmosphere.
The staff is friendly, and you can reserve in advance – which I highly recommend. That said, if you show up without a reservation, just wait a few minutes – a table will likely free up.
In short: come for the view, not the mixology – and you won’t be disappointed.
