Udon Buzjenbo

Cute little shop. The Buzjenbo udon was the dish I got and it was really really good. Although, ive never had “kombu” before it was a really cool experience and mix with the udon. Definitely recommend! Fire and cute spot.

I’ve had this place on my list for a while and was finally able to check it out. It’s an udon shop with a vibe that is more izakaya-ish. The space is cool with a fun little counter at the back where the kitchen is located. I went with the rolled egg (だし巻き卵) which was delicious (you can get a full or half size, but the half size was huge). I also got the house udon, which comes with aged tofu which was fantastic. It was sweet and just absorbed all the broth which explodes with flavor when you bite into it. The noodles were cooked to perfection. There are lots of options on the menu, so I want to come back. Service was fast and friendly. Go support this place and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Udon restaurant located in Meguro, Tokyo. It’s like a cafe rather than a traditional udon restaurant. Both hot udon and cold ones are on the menu, and I chose cold udon with raw egg and pounded yam. Very tasty and satisfied and, if you want to eat many, large size will be recommended.

Very different from commercial udons. This broth was very clean tasting, hints of ginger and dried fish. The kind where you can keep drinking the broth without becoming thirsty. Noodles were perfectly Al dente, irregularly cut so it should be handmade. A homely taste

The udon soup is different - clean, light with a deep dried sardine flavour. Ingredients used were also of good quality. Udon texture is perfect, enough bite and the right size. A hearty bowl of udon. Would return if in the area.

I used to live near here so when I was little, this place used to be a restaurant I always go with my friends after my ballet lesson. The dashimaki egg, cucumber and seaweed’s vinegar side dish, zaru udon, and cold kimchi udon are the best. The kimchi udon was added to the menu recently but I think this is the best udon I’ve ever had in my entire life. I still visit this restaurant on a special occasion even though I live a little far away now. Because it’s totally worth it.

A local cozy Udon place which has a taste for sake as well. The portions are generous so one can get a proper lunch meal here. The staff were not particularly friendly, but I guess in busy lunch time one cannot expect much omotenashi! I tried the hot udon with vegetable and it was tasty.

Great local, family-owned udon shop. You can get half portions of all the appetizers; they’re generous sizes. Had the seaweed, daikon cold noodle udon, and the seaweed was quite slimy so maybe don’t go for that if you’re not into weird textures. Recommend the hot udon options, salad, and tamago!
