We had a great stay at the hostel! Location is great, different metro stations in closest surroundings. The Hostel itself is nicely furnished, rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff is very friendly (special thanks to Lucas). Also, the breakfast is yummy! Only things I've missed are lockers in the dorms and shelves in the shower/bathroom for toiletries.

The only good thing this hostel had going for it was its very pleasant and helpful staff. Aside from that, I did not enjoy my stay in the slightest; the rooms were ill-equipped with 1-2 outlets for an 8 person dorm, zero lockers to leave your valuables and absolutely no heating. It was 3 degrees during our stay, and the unheated rooms are accessible through an outdoor corridor meaning we had to sleep with our coats on. Additionally, the hostel was hosting about 50-60 high school students even though they have a policy stating guests must be over 18. All of this plus its terrible location make it not worth your stay. Look elsewhere!

A very cozy and comfortable place, with a nice garden. Very well located. Excellent, delicious breakfast. Great staff. Everybody was very nice to us, always smiling and always kind. We had some problems with the water on our first day (no hot water for us), but it was all solved the next morning. Some noisy guests at night, but we can't blame the hostel for that. Would definitely recommend the place. Hope I'll be back soon. Merci beaucoup!

I had a good experience. Friendly employees and good breakfast. However, of you wanting privacy then this is not he place for you because it has one toilet per floor and there were 36 people in two adjoining rooms plus another one on the same floor. 3 showers share the floor and it was tight. I would stay again because the location was good, breakfast filling and a feeling of safety and security is always a high value. Breakfast was several breads, cereals, yogurt, milk, juices, and coffee. Tasty. Such a beautiful building as well. Eating breakfast in the little courtyard before everyone is awake was amazing, I suggest it.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience for the one night I stayed here. The hostel was hosting a group of about 50-60 high school students that were extremely loud in the courtyard until about 2 AM and my room was right next to the courtyard so it was quite disruptive. The heater in our room wasn't working so it was painfully cold and the only accommodation we were offered was an extra paper-thin bed sheet. The men at the reception couldn't care less. Additionally, the bathrooms were absolutely filthy and smelled so strongly of urine I could hardly manage to be in them long enough to use them. Of all the nice hostels around Paris - avoid staying here.

OK stay for one night only. Friendly staff! It is a very basic hostel — they only provide the bed, access to restroom and a weird living room. There are no power plugs or a headlight on the bed. Breakfast is included but starting only at 7 AM. If you have an early flight to catch, they won't accommodate any need related to breakfast, even though they start preparing it at 6 AM... No social atmosphere at all and groups seem to love this hostel — I stayed in a room with a big group, and they seemed to neglect cleanliness and notion of space, but that's not the hostel's fault. If you are a solo traveler, consider other options. If planning to stay one night and fly from Paris Beauvais airport, then it's a good choice.

Had a lovely time at this hostel. Beautiful building, big room, very clean, great breakfast. Particularly liked the garden. The staff was amazing, everybody was really helpful and friendly, giving me all the good tips for a truly Parisian experience! Highly recommend!

Stayed at the BVJ Champs-Elysées Monceau hostel for two nights. POSITIVES: The staff were nice and friendly and it had a really beautiful courtyard that would have been really nice to enjoy if it wasn't February. They offer a free breakfast that started at 7am, not the best selection of breakfast food but definitely not awful. The hostel has access to one of the train lines close by which make access to the airport easy enough. NEGATIVES: There are no room keys, the room door are always unlocked the front door of the building is manned by the front desk, but most of the time it was left completely unlocked. I found this alone to be a little bit of a safety concern but the fact that the rooms had no lockers to put your valuables in was a bit too far for me. I was a little uncomfortable sleeping in a place where technically someone could walk right from the street. The rooms only had 4 outlets for 8 people and they were all by the door, again not giving me the confidence to leave my phone charging unattended overnight. There are no bunk lights. Beds weren't the most comfortable but I've slept on worse. There are four mix gendered showers which I didn't have a huge problem with but it might be an issue for some. There was two toilets for the facility which were not the cleanest. The location wasn't the best being a good 45 minute walk away from any major attractions. Seemed to be a popular place for groups so it was very loud all at all hours In summary, an okay place to stay for a night or two of you are just passing through. Not saying don't stay here, just saying there are probably better options in a better location for the price point.
