Absolutely incredible experience at By & By in Hell’s Kitchen this evening. Every single dish was a standout. The lamb burgers were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The miso mushrooms were fresh, savory, and beautifully balanced. The Korean beef satay had an amazing depth of flavor, and the short rib was truly some of the best I’ve ever had—which says a lot, because I order short rib often when I’m out. The Page Turner cocktail was refreshing, creative, and delicious. Easily a new favorite. I also loved the shot he brought out for us to try, drinks were a 20/10! We had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Vinny, who was so kind and accommodating. You can immediately tell he takes real pride in his restaurant and the experience he creates for guests. He even shared some pastries with us, which were phenomenal and made us feel incredibly welcomed. The space itself is clean, cozy and inviting. We recently moved to the neighborhood, and this will absolutely be a regular spot for us. Can’t wait to come back!

By & By – Perfect Pre-Theatre Spot! An excellent choice if you want pre-show bites and drinks without the chaos of Times Square. Their happy hour menu has a great selection of both drinks and food, including vegetarian and pescatarian options. We tried the mushroom curry spring rolls, ceviche with plantain chips, and the crispy rice noodle basket with spicy miso mushrooms. All flavorful and beautifully presented. The cocktails were delish. Pre-theater, I recommend the espresso martini—made with real espresso from the machine. It was rich, smooth, and the perfect pick-me-up after a long day to stay alert for a Broadway show. Service was outstanding, thanks to our bartender and server Vinny, who made the whole experience even better. Cozy, stylish, and delicious. By & By was the perfect choice for pre-theatre dining.

The food and drinks are really great and the owner is the nicest most thoughtful person ever. Like he noticed we were squinting a little at the menu and brought a table lamp over so we could read it more easily. I got the ceviche and the tristessa cocktail. You guys this ceviche is god tier it’s like refreshing from the soft scallops & fish & citrus which pairs perfectly with the slightly starchy & crisp plantain chips. My friend got a whiskey cocktail and it got brought out with a little smoker which looked amazing swirling up whenever you moved the glass and tasted even better. The seats were cushioned velvet and really comfy and the place is impeccably clean, I’m telling you this is the coziest place in Hell’s Kitchen to hang out on a Saturday night.

Love a dual purpose concept restaurant. Came for dinner and loved our meal-looking forward to coming back for the coffee shop hours. Creative and delicious cocktails! Loved the steak frites, beef satay and lamb sliders. The butcher board had a great lovely assortment. The owner, Vinny, was so friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be back soon!

I had the pleasure of dining at this new restaurant, and it was truly spectacular! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Every dish we tried was delicious; the scallops were perfectly cooked, the skewers were bursting with flavor, and the pasta ragu was rich and comforting. The ceviche was fresh and vibrant, and the dessert, a moist churro-like treat, was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. I can’t recommend this place enough, a must visit for anyone looking for incredible food and top-notch service!

The coco old fashioned cocktail was amazing! The lamb sliders were also very delicious and hit the spot. This is a great little place and the bartender is so friendly and very welcoming for a casual happy hour. I highly recommend it!

By & By is easily one of the best establishments in NYC. Vinnie, who runs the place, is a genuinely great guy and makes everyone feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The cocktails are creative, beautifully crafted, and delicious. The food bites are just as impressive, with tons of flavor. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to return to again and again. We had an amazing pre-show experience at By & By. The creatively curated cocktails were delicious. This is a place that encourages plate sharing which gave a good taste of various items. The menu changes every so often, but when we were there, we enjoyed the lamb sliders, curry spring rolls, spicy miso mushroom, and the short rib rags with handmade pappardelle pasta. What a fantastic meal for a cold night! I hope you get a chance to interact with the proprietor, Vinnie. He was kind, generous, and witty. We definitely recommend By & By.
