Byblos Restaurant - Fine Lebanese & Levantine Cuisine

This is nice quaint restaurant set off the main road. The service was great and the food was delicious and well presented. The portion sizes are great, very filling! If you want to have something different to the traditional food here, this is a great place to try!

Stumbled upon the place and the food was so good we kept coming back during our entire stay in Budapest. The Mansaf was simply too good. The Fatehchicken and Shishtauq was also really good. The chefs do justice to the tag of authentic Levantine ans Arabic food. Overall loved the place, booking a table is advised during rushhours

If visiting Budapest this is a must stop during your visit. Excellent Lebanese restaurant that offers high quality food and service. Recommended.

It was a first time for me to get experience with Lebanese cousin. I heard a lot about the delicious food of them, now I can confirm, freakin good. It was impossible to taste everything, I had to ask the waiter, prepare my meals for takeaway… All in all, highly recommended place.

Very nice and friendly staff and atmosphere. Definitely try to book table ahead of time,most of the time it's crowded. Nice interior design and delicious food,bringing Lebanese culture to Hungary.

We ordered 2 lemonade and one starter , that was ok , we waited 45 minutes for the main course and the chiken shaormwa was so bad i didnt eat but they charged me. Never again coming.

Byblos is definitely my favorite Lebanese restaurant in Budapest. We always take our friends who are visiting us here to make them acquainted with Lebanese food, and it's always a success, all our friends love it. And so do we. This was our fifth time in Byblos, and we are never disappointed. We always order around 5 mezzes to share with everyone. That's well enough for four-five people. We were actually pretty stuffed already after that but still ordered one main course for each couple to share. And we hardly could finish everything. But it was soooooo good. We ordered hummus Beiruti, lebneh, halloumi cheese, kebbeh and shrimp tagine. All amazing, and our friends were especially impressed by the hummus. They thought it was the best hummus they've ever tasted. For the main course we ordered chicken shawarma and koftas. Kofta is a very simple dish but it just works every time. The middle eastern kitchen sure makes excellent lamb dishes, what can I say. Shawarma is one of the best in town, very tasty and not dry at all. We really enjoyed Byblos once again and will be returning soon again.

I loved this restaurant. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was pleasant and service kind. Not your typical tourist restaurant to visit when in Budapest, but for us it was one of the best ones we tried while there. 💜
