Byloom

A regular haunt of mine since I was in high school. Love the malpua, tea and sandwiches. Do visit the byloom store as well. One of my favourite places to sit and write. So cosy and soothing.

My review is for the store and not the cafe. Great collection of sarees. You can get sarees of all tastes and price ranges. Very aesthetically designed store as well. The staff are friendly and are eager to help. I would definitely visit Byloom again.

Cute cafe with garment Studio Loved the interiors , they have a limited but nice selection of garments for men and women Namely shirts,h Jackets, Kurta , sarees ,blouses and some bedsheets everything a Has ethnic ,native weaves or techniques There is a small canteen or cafe inside couldn't really try the food but looked good and was serving authentic Bengali fare They do not have valet parking is on the other side of the street and is strictly enforced

Nice food and a simplistic menu that exudes old-world charm. I had the loochi-poori and it was quite nice. The tea was average-ish. I would visit this place again!

Though the place serves snacks but I mainly went to buy sarees for which it's famous.

Byloom has a large collection of handloom sarees and other traditional wear in cotton, silk, linen. They also have a small canteen at the back of the shop that looks like someone's room with the window opening into someone's terrace. There was a lot of construction work going on that day as well, so it was quite noisy with people moving around. However the Bengali snacks they served weren't too bad. The chop was not available at that time so tried the fish fry which was quite good. The fresh lime soda was a bit too sour.

Visited Byloom Canteen . Just like their amazing clothes the food tastes great as well. Enjoyed Mangsher Chop , Fish Roll and Chicken Cutlet along with some fresh sherbet and Nolen Gurer Souffle ! Ah and the beautiful interiors and ambience added to our adda ! ❤️

I have always loved the food and ambience of The canteen at Byloom... Not only does the place have some of the coolest clothes and sarees and accessories but their canteen is to die for!! Try their mutton chop and fowl cutlet for that typical Kolkata canteen/ cabin fare!!! Or try the more opulent macher kochuri and aloo r dom.... Absolutely delicious!!! And beat the heat with their Sondha monjori.... A delicious concoction of aam porar sorbot!!! Cheers!
