Unbelievably amazing! From the moment we walked in it was perfect! From the Irish tunes, to the smiling faces. The vibe was perfection. I’m so glad my husband and I stopped in and experience true Irish charm. I truly appreciate you all! 🇮🇪🤗💖💖

Google
Beautiful restaurant, would highly recommend. Breads served were unusual and very delicious, an amazingly talented harpist playing was unexpected touch. Lovely terrace, no room for us on this occasion. Gorgeous stepped walkway down to the falls right outside the door in the wall. Just beautiful

Amazing restaurant and staff and the food was awesome. Desserts are made in house and they have daily specials on the menu. This was recommended by our hotel and was totally worth it. The view of the river was great.

Food is decent - we enjoyed the early bird menu twice and it caters for vegan and vegetarian, although you wont have a selection of options. Service was great both times and price good too if doing early bird !

Had a fantastic dinner at Byrne’s in Ennistymon. Food was top class. Coconut prawns appetizer was delicious. Main courses of Pork Belly and Roasted Salmon did not disappoint. Great location with views of the Falls.

Google
I visited Byrne's as a tour guide with a group of 60+ people. Their service was exceptional. Quick, friendly and although me and another tour guide were not booked in, they still served us a delicious dish. So if you are looking for delicious food as well as outstanding customer service, in a warm, atmospheric restaurant with character and a superb view, Byrne's is your spot!

Had the most beautiful meal here a couple of weeks ago. The location, ambience, service - the quality, presentation and food taste were off the charts. Highly recommend 🌟

Google
Very cozy cafe with a terrace. From the terrace there is a view right on the thresholds. It is advisable to visit in good weather. Under the cafe there is an antique shop, large, with a good selection. Very friendly staff. I recommend this place if you are in Ennistymon. The coffee is delicious, the service is excellent.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place more as the atmosphere and the service were good, sadly the food left some to be desired. My husband opted for a 2 course meal with the crispy pork belly and Irish steak. He asked for a medium steak which should have had pink in the middle but he ended up with a well done steak that had about 1/3 of it inedible due to fat and grizzle. He also received several overly done/burnt pieces of potato with this steak that he could not eat. I opted for the vegetarian plate but was told the fish I was looking forward to was out so they substituted cod. Mine was okay but very under seasoned. My girls opted for just a plain pasta dish which they liked but it is hard to mess up penne pasta and red sauce. The plating was beautiful but the food didn't live up to the hype. The view was nice as we sat outside but the food was just disappointing for the cost.

Yelp
The food was absolutely wonderful!!! I ordered a pan seared cod with vegetable a and it was made to perfection. Loved the tiramisu as well. The restaurant is a little gem in a small town not far from Doolin. Thank you Byrne! Love love your restaurant!!!

Yelp
The lamb was luscious, the potatoes poignant and the gravy great. Real nice ambiance with families, couples and older folks. And a great collection of antiquities for sale...

Yelp
Establishment with strange decoration since the facade is extremely colorful, the entrance is quite chic, with some stools and a nice bar, then the intermediate room, absolutely not lit, and the third room which gives on a beautiful terrace with a view on the famous waterfalls of Ennistymon. But this room has filthy chairs and plastic tablecloths that compete with them. The menu of the restaurant is also rather odd since there is a traditional Persian entry, the Ghormeh sabzi. I could not resist the discovery of this offbeat dish in Ireland! Entertaining but slightly too seasoned Greek fenu which gives a bitter tip a little unpleasant. But overall good. The seafood chowder is a kind of seafood soup. Well... here it is, it's nice... Serrano ham mullet is interesting. Too bad it is placed on a beautiful mass of mash potatoes very compact and embellished with two good large half grilled shallots. The plate of the sea is good but deserves better than the banal cocktail sauce. The crab claws are cooked in a very powerful broth. As for the famous waterfalls, we were not lucky because we came after 15 days without rain in the region! Yes, it is possible in Ireland. So they were dry. This gives a rarer image ... Bill of 59.80 euros for 2.

Yelp
My last and final Fish N Chips in Ireland...a very sad...though I will come back someday! €6 Seafood Chowder...good! Though the bowl was slightly smaller than others €5.50 Irish Coffee...yup! :) €12 Fish N Chips...oh yes please! Side salad is a nice touch! €8 or less: various sandwhiches we didn't try. Byrnes appeared to be the nicest restaurant in Ennistymon: a tiny tourist-free real Irish town you'll probably pass through to the Cliffs of Moher. Real locals were dining and gossiping in their rich Irish accents. We got a window table with a lovely view of the river falls, warm interior, and the handsomest young waiter in all of Ireland...I should've taken a sneaky papparazzi photo of him.

Yelp
Great place to go for Irish food. Enjoyed the location and view of the falls. Took the entire family out for dinner

Yelp
Stopped here on our way home from Doolin- everything was amazing and the service great. I had French onion soup an the Seafood special. My husband had the pepper steak and a mushroom risotto appetizer.

Yelp
Magical dinner. Food fabulous. Waterfall on our right & classical guitar on our left. Service just right. Couldn't have been better

Yelp
Stopped at this place for dinner before going over to Daly's Pub. Portion was slightly smaller than any other restaurants that I stopped by during my drive around west of Ireland. Good service and food was good as well. I think prices were slighty higher than other places I'd been in west coast of Ireland. View and sound of the river in the outdoor seating area at the back were fantastic.

Yelp
I was super happy with our stop here! The man who served us had a great sense of humor and was very nice to us all around. We only had coffee and a dessert (and some complimentary candy), but I definitely recommend stopping by this place. I loved the quaint corner with crates, books, and wine bottles!

Yelp
Clean, comfortable and friendly. Great views of the river. Amazing 'pulled beef' burger that made my day. My portions were plenty for me and the staff was great.

Yelp
As other reviews posted, smallest portions we've had in Ireland and too expensive for them. While the food was good it wasn't incredible and should have been for the price. My wife's piece of salmon was extremely small and my sirloin steak only average considering the 24 Euro price. The plates included a very small portion of vegetables which were good but no more than a few bites. Hope to find a better option for dinner tonight.

Yelp
Excellent, highly recommended stop after visiting Cliffs of Moher. Sat outside on the deck above the waterfalls. Friendly staff

Yelp
Stopped in on a rainy night and had a cozy seat by the fire. Had a delicious hot bowl of soup, moussaka and salad. Food was excellent and staff were good. I'd definitely stop in again.
