BYRON HOTEL

We love the Byron. We've loved it since we first stayed there in 1995 and this century we've been there for at least part of our holiday almost every year. Aris and his team provide a caring, welcoming, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful old building in Nafplio Old Town. Breakfasts are substantial and delicious, and while there is an indoors breakfast room there is also a terrace where you might well share the space with this season's kittens and their family (if you're concerned about hygiene, they do not jump up on tables!). The fact we first went to the hotel 30 years ago indicates that we're on the older side, so you might want to bear that in mind in our evaluation, but the Byron has its share of younger tourists and families as well.

The Byron Hotel is a little gem, hidden away in the old town of Nafplion. It's a charming, attractive and modestly priced family run hotel. The staff are delightful and helpful, the breakfasts, especially the yoghurt, are delicious. The location is great: peaceful yet central in the old town quarter. Parking throughout the city is free, so although one can't park at the hotel, it's not far to walk with one's luggage from any of the car parks. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 nights in July. Quaint hotel, very clean, friendly and accommodating staff and within walking distance to everything! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Although our room was very small, they have managed to make good use of the space so you still have everything you need and plenty of room for your belongings.

I had a truly wonderful experience at Hotel Lord Byron in Nafplio, Greece. The hotel is charming and elegant, with beautifully maintained rooms and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every detail reflected great care and quality. What impressed me most was the honesty and professionalism of the staff. After my stay, I realized I had left behind a ring with sentimental value. The team not only found it but also arranged for its return quickly and safely, keeping me informed throughout the process. Exceptional service like this is rare and deeply appreciated. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nafplio. I will definitely return!

The staff was great, a full breakfast, large rooms, lovely verandas with plenty of tables. It is necessary to walk up a number of steps with luggage but, if this is manageable, this is a great vintage style hotel. Views are nice as well.

A very nice, charmy hotel in the old town of Nafplio with lots of character and fantastic view over the whole town and the sea. |We were welcomed by the very nice owner and he also recommended one of the best Greek local Taverns we've been to with great homecooked Greek food. |Our room was on the the 3rd floor and when we entered we just stood stunned with our months open. The view from the 2 windows were breathtaking! |When we had breakfast the next morning in the old breakfast room it felt like old times in Greece before the tourism and we just loved it! ||A highly recommended hotel, 10 out of 10!

We always look for hotels with charm and character and Byron Hotel didn't dissapoint. A great cosy old hotel with lots of character in the old town of Nafplio with a wonderful view over the whole town and the sea. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we had 2 windows with amazing view. When we opened the door to the room we just stood there, stunned, with our mouths wide open. We had been to Spetses and Hydra just before arriving Nafplio and stayed at very nice hotels there but Byron was the best out of the three. We were welcomed by the very nice owner who also recommended us a local Tavern which had great Greek food. When we had breakfast in the old dining room/bar, we felt like going back to old times in Greece and we really enjoyed it. Byron Hotel is definitely highly recommended, a 10 out of 10!

Everything was just perfect. I had a very agreeable experience. It is quiet, comfortable, super clean, and in an ideal location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I will stay at the Byron Hotel again during my next visit. I highly recommend it.
