C Central Hotel

Nice location. Good area for young people. Lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately when we arrived they informed us that the room we had booked had no air conditioning, and then relocated us to a similar hotel down the road, however this one was worse with no breakfast. The stay was still pleasant, although it was disappointing to receive absolutely no communication from the hotel on our relocation. We found out when we got there after a 10 hour journey that we had to move all our suitcases a couple hundred metres down the road.

The staffs were actually pretty helpful to me, just that the AC in our room was not working well, and the water leak out when we shower. Overall experience was okay for me (i can sleep with noise so maybe thats why). If you’re sensitive to loud music, ask them for a room at the back!

1. The room I booked through Agoda did not match the actual room I received. 2. The air conditioner is not cool. I set it to 18 degrees Celsius but it is still hot like 28 degrees Celsius. The AC filter is very dusty and dirty like it has never been cleaned. 3. The staff spoke as if they did not want to take responsibility and did not help solve the problem as much as they should have. The air conditioner was not cool and I asked to change rooms but they said the rooms were full and only gave me one fan, which did not help at all. 4. Booked 3 rooms, but on the first night only got 2 rooms, which were old, the bathroom doors couldn't be locked, and had a musty smell and NO HOUSE KEEPING!! 5. What made me decide to change hotels, even though I had booked for 4 nights, I was only able to stay for 2 nights because the elevator was broken. The cable was broken, so I had to walk up and down 10 floors. 6. If you read the reviews up to this point, please go stay somewhere else. It's best to get away from this hotel. You can go and look at the reviews on GG. There are many people who have had the same experience.

By far the worst hotel I've ever experienced. The front desk told us the air conditioning was broken when we checked in and that we would have to book somewhere else for the night. Yet I saw someone come in right after us who was able to book a room. They refused to give us a refund as well. I saw the poor reviews but decided to book because of the price. Bad decision. These people are truly SCAMMERS! Do not book with this place. Local vendors in front of the hotel stated that they have seen multiple people be scammed before as well.

I got denied to check in and was informed that rooms got problem like the very moment before I arrived. Also he shown the photo of leaked AC. Then the staff suggested to transfer me to another place nearby, and when I checked the room at the place he sent me I was not okay as the room felt like a SHADY motel instead of a hotel so the new place offer me to refund money in cash but not equally to the price I’ve paid on the agency app. I decided to walk back to C Central with a luggage to tell him to cancel the booking if the room is not available he told me to speak to Agoda myself only thing he can do is the cash refund. All the things he’s said was so shockingly SMOOTH and felt like he’s been saying that daily. I just seen that many people got the same kind of this matter, and I should’ve checked these reviews before making a booking in the future. In addition, before i made this booking i also got denied by another property earlier with a similar reason informed. I felt like i got scammed by 2 properties in Ho Chi Minh within an hour, i hope you understand how I felt 1st photo was the place and 2nd photo was the place he sent me to.

Our reservation was cancelled when we arrived. No prior information or notification until we arrived at the hotel. The hotel stated that they messaged us, but these were messages sent while we were on a flight and they were also addressed to the wrong person??! There was no apology and barely an explanation. They blamed it on the fact that other guests had not shown up but we had a reservation through booking.com. We found it very unfair to assume we wouldn’t turn up. We arrived 1hr after check in opened due to delays at the airport and our room had been given away. After reading other reviews it looks like this has happened to other people. Would not recommend. It is also on a very noisy street.

If you're looking for the Brisbane City Watchhouse experience, this place might be perfect—because that’s exactly what it felt like. The rooms are incredibly small and shockingly dirty. The floors haven’t been cleaned in ages—sticky underfoot and even breaking apart in places. The air conditioner barely works and drips all night long, making it nearly impossible to sleep. The pillows? I'm fairly confident they haven’t been changed in 10 years. Underneath the pillowcases, they’re stained and brown. Disgusting. The in-room safe doesn’t work, and when we asked staff to fix it, they simply didn’t show up. Speaking of misleading, the foyer and rooms shown in the online photos are completely different from what you actually get. The pictures feature the larger front-facing rooms—which face the main street and are so noisy, you won’t get to sleep before midnight. But most rooms aren't even that nice. We booked for five nights but checked out after just one. Staff told us to contact Agoda for a refund, but that turned out to be a lie. Agoda said they would check with the hotel, and surprise—the staff denied ever telling us that. When we raised all our concerns, the staff claimed there was nothing wrong with the room. Don’t just take my word for it—check out the many other negative reviews on Google. If you want to be in the middle of the action, yes, the location is central. But that's the only upside, and it’s definitely not worth the tradeoff.

This hotel is located in a prominent area near Bui Vien Walking Street. The room looked a bit different from the photos online, which was slightly misleading, but we were okay with it. Just lower your expectations as it doesn’t feel as new once you’re inside. The room service phone didn’t work, the sheets smelled like someone’s perfume, and the wooden flooring looked a bit warped from the shower’s moisture. It has all the basic necessities, but housekeeping is only done upon request, mainly to change towels and restock bottled water. We were lucky to get a room on the ninth floor, so the noise from nearby clubs and the street didn’t really bother us. However, it might be an issue for those staying on lower floors. Overall, it’s still an okay hotel for me because you get what you pay for.
