C Rodrigues Mourouk

This was our first visit to Rodrigues and it not disappoint. We arrived at midnight due to delayed flight and were surprised and delighted to find two cold platters left in our room. What a thoughtful touch. |Throughout our stay we found the staff very friendly and helpful in everything. The site felt spacious, clean and well maintained. It has a beautiful beach with uncrowded lounging areas and the swimming pool offered amazing views along the coast due to the fact that the main part of the hotel is situated on a gentle bank above the beach. |There was a wide range of water based activities including snorkelling and kite surfing on offer and a secluded grassy area with children’s play activities. There were also walks along the coast to the next village.|The food catered for a wide variety of tastes and was well presented and the restaurant never felt crowded. |Taxi drivers recommended by the hotel were friendly, knowledgable and flexible|The sunsets were spectacular. It reflected the whole ethos of the island.

We came to rest and practice Kitesurf in the beautiful lagoon, and C-Mourouk is the perfect staying for that! The place is not only « an hotel » but a playground for young to old kids. The decoration is creatively made from recycled materials (wood, plastic bottles, surfboards or kite boards), and that’s pretty cool and well made. The service is great, the whole staff is friendly and professional. Shoutout and thanks to the Steward’s team, we are greatful for everything, in particular the gluten-free food you made only for us. We will come back for sure and I’ll recommend C-mourouk to my friends.

C Rodrigues Mourouk offers a lovely and peaceful setting, with clean, comfortable rooms and stunning lagoon views. The decor reflects local charm, creating a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere.||However, our stay had a few challenges. We arrived around 9:30 a.m. but only received our room at 2 p.m., with little information provided about our package or the activities available at the hotel. Communication could certainly be improved to help guests settle in more smoothly.||We also noticed a difference in the level of attention given to local Mauritian guests compared to tourists, which was a bit disheartening. Additionally, my toddler was not allowed to move around as freely as some of the other children.||On a positive note, the staff at the kids’ club were excellent — warm, attentive, and truly wonderful with the little ones.||Overall, the hotel has great potential. With more consistent communication and equal attention to all guests, the experience could be truly exceptional.

Amazing and peaceful and staff are sooo welcoming and always smiling. I'm pretty sure it's Michelle and Guito, who welcomed us very warmly and looked after us. The rooms were just sooo nice and clean and ocean view is just breath taking.Absolutely a pure gem. My family and myself are very grateful for the beautiful stay at CMourouk. Would highly recommend CMourouk

We spent 3 nights at this hotel on a half board basis in June and the service, cleanliness of room and quality of food was excellent. The only thing minus point is that water had to be bought at dinner time whereas most hotels I have been to offers 1 bottle of water. Special thanks to Wesley and Melanie for the warm welcome and excellent service during our stay and a special thanks to hotel management for arranging a birthday cake for my son.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely valued and well taken care of.||Mr Guito and the team's professionalism, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made our visit a memorable one.|Food overall was fantastic with a wide variety of choices .

Breakfast should have started @ 06:30 ended being served @ 07:15. Rooms filled with ants and not cleaned properly.|Servers were rude and always asking us to leave the table as soon as we finish eating .|Even the director was rude and seemed like he had clue of how service should be. We did not feel welcomed nor treated with respect.

The hotel in general is very nice and clean. The buffet breakfast and Dinner is a must try. Very nice initiative for opening your room with the bracelet that we received upon check in.
