C.BIO - Cibo, buono italiano e onesto

Handy shop for food and open until late even after the market’s closed plenty of deli food and you can dine in.

I don’t think I’ve ever been served by such rude unpleasant scornful condescending staff. Not sure who they think they are! The food is good, although not as good as when the old man was there, the place could be very pleasant, the store concept is excellent easpecially in conservative provincial Florence, yet the staff is enough to spoil the whole experience leaving one feeling belittled and very angry. Get a grip guys there is no need to be stronzi!!!!

I popped into the store just out of curiosity and ended up buying wine, pasta, passata, olive oil and a few other lovely items. Yes, this place is more expensive than your local Carrefour, but generally, you get what you pay for and the items available in store are great quality. Worth seeking out, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you like good food.

I'm all for spending on good quality but I think this place takes the piss. The prices are absolutely outrageous. The food looks very oily and even though of good quality I don't think 200g of curry chicken should cost almost 9 euro. Vegetables like carrots and zucchini shouldn't cost an arm and a leg whichever way they have been made. Going back to spending on good quality I will also spend when service is good, here they like to make u wait on purpose it seems with staff doing other things that are not relevant when people are waiting to be served. They are all very snobby and do not make u feel welcomed at all. I actually feel like they look down their nose at me and talk the same way. The shop in itself is lovely but more often than not is always pretty empty. I would never feel comfortable eating in there despite the tables that make it seem like a little cafe as well that could be very nice if the atmosphere was better. If the prices were a little less, the service more friendly and efficient, and maybe some nice music to enhance the lovely surroundings this place would be heaving.

Walked some distance to C-BIO (lst May @1.30pm) only to find it closed. Timings on door says open but not - web site says open but is not so complete waste of our time today. . . . .

10 euros for this!!!!!more expensive than Pierre Herme or Jean Paul Hevin. I dont understand the hype for that shop really

Love this market! They had very high quality products. Loved their pastries.
