Alessando picked us up at the Vaporetto Station to show us the way to the accommodation. Then he made us a little introduction to Venice and gave us very helpful tips that gave us a very enjoyable experience in this beautiful city. When we would come back to our room at the end of every day we’d find that they cleaned the room and made the bed and refilled anything missing from the breakfast basket. The B&B is fairly central and we’d take the Vaporetto (from Rialto Merkato) to almost everywhere and you can walk to most places. All in all it was a lovely experience that we’d recommend to anyone visiting Venice!

Loved our stay at this small (4-5 rooms) bed and breakfast in a GREAT location 5 minutes walk from the Rialto Mercato fish market and Water Ferry Stop. The owner Alessandro was very helpful in recommending things to do in the area as well. Nice breakfast of fruit, yogurt, and assorted goodies arrive in your room every morning. There's a coffee machine in each room and you get milk, fresh juice, etc. in the communal kitchen downstairs. (No fridge in the room). Great communication before and during our trip if you text Alessandro on Whats App. He will even meet you at the ferry stop as the place is a bit hard the find the first time. Cute rooms on a quiet side street in the perfect place. We were able to leave our luggage in the room for our last half a day too. Thank you my friend -- we will stay here again during our next trip to this magical city!

A sweet B&B just a 5 min walk from the famous Rialto bridge! The neighborhood was very safe & the room was clean & comfortable! ||The host, Alessandro, was extremely helpful! He gave us info on which Vaporetto (water bus) to take, gave us maps & restaurant recommendations! He even had a colleague meet us upon our arrival from the waterbus & walked us to the B&B. ||The “continental” breakfast was adequate & good. We definitely would recommend this B&B!

Excellent location, very helpful and responsive owners. Venice is a place where it is easy to get lost. This hotel puts you in a great spot to see everything and be able to find your way back. The owner had someone meet us at the water bus (vaporetto) and escort us to the hotel. Breakfast was a morning drop-off but worked well. We had considered staying outside the city but were glad we switched.

Just stayed there for two nights. Host was very responsive and communicated well. We had croissants delivered each morning. They met us at the water Bus stop to help us find the door to the B&B and gave us some local advice. Venice is a literal maze of streets and names I could not remember, google maps is a must to find stuff. I recommend this B&B you will love it. Clean rooms and nice modern bathroom. AC worked well too. Quiet part of town.

Ca' Barba is one of the most pleasant hotel stays I have ever spent. It combines the comfort of an airbnb-style accommodation with the level of service of a hotel. The daily maid service was much appreciated, especially because they topped up the fresh fruit and other breakfast items left in the room! (This is separate from the daily croissant delivery, which was such a lovely touch.) There are lots more breakfast items and beverage options in the lobby area. Alice was incredibly knowledgeable and not only gave us wonderful tips of places to go and things to see, but was available by text for logistical questions about i.e. public transportation. The level of service was sky high, as was the level of comfort. ||Our only caveat is that there is no AC, which was a bit of a problem at night as it was pretty buggy when we were there. Our room did stay quite cool as long as we kept the windows closed, and I would strongly advise others traveling during the buggy season to do the same.

My wife and I spent the first leg of our honeymoon here in room 201. The host Alessandro was very responsive and gave us a quick 15 minute rundown on what sights to see and gave us books and a map. We had croissants and fruit at our door every morning and access to a fridge in the main area that was stocked with fresh juice, milk, and yogurt. Following the advice of Alessandro made our visit the most memorable it could possibly be. We will be recommending Ca’ Barbara to all our friends and family. Since it is a B&B. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend some earplugs just in case. The neighborhood itself was very quiet, safe, and easy to many landmarks.

The B&B is located in a lovely, quaint neighbourhood, not too far from the Rialto bridge. We loved crossing through the market each morning-- so vibrant and authentic!|Alessandro was a very friendly and communicative host. He met us at our vaporetto stop, escorted us to the B&B (and even helped with luggage!), and gave us the full run down on 'all things Venice'. In room coffee and breakfast snacks (nuts, pancakes, fruit, biscuits, etc.) were augmented with delivery of fresh pastries left at our door each morning. Snacks such as yogurt & water were also available in the main kitchen. The rooms were spotless and the beds were super comfortable! Very pleased!
