Hotel is lovely. We had an apartment which had everything you need. Location is perfect. Katrina the host is really lovely and helpful and gives great recommendations. I really don't understand why it's only 2 star rated as was an absolute gem of a find. Will definitely return

Staff were generally pleasant and eager to accommodate. The breakfast was fine, the coffees consistently arrived cold. Location was ideal. The major issue was that of noise. If you are put in the piano room you should ask to change. If anyone is in the room above you, sleep will elude you. Other customers smoking and hollering in the courtyard as late as 11pm. The TVs did not have satellite, and barely had signal, CNN on repeat was the only choice. Lovely place, but if you are a light sleeper, intended to book based on their claims of modern amenities or value the ability to relax in your room past 11am without personally offending room service you should consider somewhere else.

This is one of my favourite hotel stays ever! The hotel is in a beautiful building, converted to use as a hotel. The atmosphere is like visiting a grand old home, our room had a table, large desk and baby grand piano. It was completely charming and comfortable, so beautifully decorated and cared for. There is a lovely courtyard and the people were wonderful, we were very well taken care of! And a quick walk to everything but quiet at the same time. I highly recommend staying here - I honestly wish we’d stayed longer.

Wonderful stay- the owners are super nice and helpful, the room was spacious for three people, and well decorated, the view and cross breeze from the two huge windows was wonderful. We also enjoyed the rooftop balcony at night, plus the beautiful sitting area in the courtyard. Modern style bathroom (very chic!). Room was very clean. Also awesome location, very easy to walk to from train station. Highly recommend!

This isn't a fancy place but it is clean and extremely well located. Only 6 minutes and, more importantly with luggage, 1 bridge from the people mover where most people will arrive or depart. The owner had some great suggestions for restaurants.

Really friendly service, comfortable rooms and many complimentary items in the bathroom. They served a nice and customizable breakfast for 15 euros if I remember right. The location was perfect, which is 5 minute walk from the train station

We arrived at the b&b without any hassle, having checked how to get there on google streetview, with a warm welcome by Catarina stating that oh no! A guest left the keys in the door of our room! And the locksmith could only visit tomorrow. But she had a great solution, her friend close by also has a hotel and you can stay there for one night then we’ll upgrade your room. Sound familiar? We initially thought highly of this service, not questioning Catarina’s story until the last day when we tried to pay with credit card only to be told, only cash. My partner forced them to accept bank transfer. Left a bad taste in his mouth so I started thinking about the key story and how it actually sounded implausible, especially the way the keys and doors are set up. Checked TA and here we go, a long history of the same story except we got a new twist. This - together with the payment - put a damper on what was otherwise a good stay in a beautiful room. Catarina was so friendly to us, or so we thought. Breakfast was only ok but the cappuccinos were good and I appreciated the fresh fruit. Quiet location as well, close to Piazalle Roma and the train station. Catarina gives restaurant advice that is only partially true. Yes the restaurants she picks are good, but she also stated reservations wouldn’t be necessary - this isn’t correct. Make your reservations. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn’t been for the deceit and wrong advice. Disappointing.

We had an amazing stay here. We felt very well looked after, and super welcomed like we were visiting family. It was a plus to have breakfast brought to us on the dot, to our room. Plenty of options to get you started. Bit of a walk from the center but worth the quiet neighborhood. Thanks for everything!

We stayed here at the beginning of our trip before we took a cruise. Three days here was not enough and I can't wait to come back and stay longer. We rented a room, but ended up getting an apartment. We expect changes when traveling, so we just went with the flow and was extremely happy with our outcome. The location is very convenient to public transportation, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, but tucked into a quite corner where there is no noise at night and very peaceful. I recommend that you pack very light when traveling here. All streets are cobblestone and you cross a lot of bridges with stairs, so it's a struggle transporting luggage even if you have good rollers on them. Although you can hire luggage transporters in the street as well for $30 or so. The continental breakfast was really nice with an egg, croissants, cheese and espresso. Keep in mind that these buildings were constructed hundreds of years ago, way before modern plumbing and elevators, so bathrooms are smaller than American standards and a lot of times there's no elevators, which is another good reason to pack light. I loved the rustic charm of this place, and can not wait to return! So many wonderful memories.
